We were searching for a nice place for brunch on our way back home to Buffalo from Montreal, and…read morefound this little gem of a place. It isn't very fancy or decorated like the Montreal places are like, however it seemed simple and a neighborhood joint for the locals. We sat outside and the waitress very sweetly took our orders. We had to use the translator as the entire menu was in French. The waitress was kind enough to translate everything and walk us through the menu. I listened to her and ordered my crepes and the husband went for a buttery croissant and the omelette. The food was beautifully seasoned and the quantity was perfect. I was under the impression that crepes were thinner, but it was a combination of a pancake and a crepe. I won't complain because it tasted wonderful. The fruits were fresh and tasted sweet and citrusy. The omelette was packed with ham, sausage and bacon, the home fries were crispy. We really enjoyed our meal and was full till we reached home. I just wish they had translated their menu a bit for tourists like us!

When we return to Quebec we shall make a point to also return here

Shina's Boozy Brunch is a trendy and chic spot in Vaudreuil. If you're looking for a brunch place…read morethat feels like you're downtown Montreal, Shina's is the spot. The ambiance is great and the lattes are big (double shot-- yes please :))! I found the portions to be a bit small for the price. My husband ordered the breakfast tacos and he was grateful we ordered a side of French toast because he was starving. The tacos are three mini tortillas with few ingredients inside. For the French toast, while the bread tasted good, I found that it wasn't really French toast, just a sweetened bread if that makes sense. I ordered the Bagel Lox and I was satisfied. The salmon tasted fresh and I felt mine was a good portion-- but pretty standard! Their service was very good our waitress was very kind and attentive !

I took one star off as the food lacked a bit of flavor. I had the IDK which sounded delicious and looked amazing on the photos online via Google after checking it out before going there. I'd recommend for a girls brunch as well as a family outing as I saw plenty of high chairs and little kids!

And then, hold the phone, they've topped it all off with nacho cheese, tomatoes, bacon, and spicy peppers. A dollop of sour cream with a hint of cilantro brings it all together! Now, the Portuguese Poutine is on the new menu and its spicy chicken, peppers, and onions, and let me tell you,it's not super spicy so you'll be okay but the flavors were all there.
