Most stunning store in all of Valladolid. I was deeply saddened to learn of the closing of Coqui Coqui in the couple of weeks prior to our visit to Tulum. I knew I had one of two options Coba or Valladolid to get my hands on the famed Coco Coco perfume. Well, I am not one to disappoint when I've set a goal for myself so we made it! To Valladolid, after a long day to Chichen Itza and a private taxi driver which I made sure would take me everywhere my little heart desired for the day and this was the other "must" on that list. The store is gorgeous. It smells like a slice of Yucatan heaven and while I wasn't checking luggage so only purchasing a small bottle my son asked me after leaving why I didn't purchase several. Smart kid! I'm kicking myself for not :( but I am enjoying wearing my new perfume everyday and smelling like vacation :) I'll visit their Coba location on my next visit as it is significantly closer to Tulum I believe. Very friendly service, very beautiful store. I am not into purchasing junk on vacation as remembrances and Coqui Coqui is the most perfect gift for yourself or other lovers of luxury.

I'll always hold this place near and dear to my heart because it was the first place I visited in…read morePlaya. I had the stuffed pepper with pureed sweet potatoes and it was very yummy! Also tried a juice can't remember the name but it wasn't that great, however, everyone else enjoyed their juice so I probably just picked a bad combo. The spaghetti with lentil balls was a little bland, took it home and added a little salt and it was perfect. Love the little store that's attached, they have pink salt, vegan cheese, ginger ale, plenty of snacks, Dr Bonner's soap and anything else us picky vegans would need.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic I'm afraid they cannot afford proper service, professionalism,…read moreand quality of food. My friend and I order vegan due to being lactose intolerant and following a strict plant-based diet. Our friend told us we had to try their "vegan hotcakes sensation". We had no idea what it looked like, but what the server brought out (40...minutes... later... and there were only 2 other tables) was 3 pancakes, slices of banana, and a gravy like syrup (wished I would have taken a picture.. it's kinda hilarious). It wasn't until after we realized they had brought out the wrong entree we hurried to the menu to make sure it was vegan. The menu clearly indicates what is vegan and what is not with a symbol. There are only two hotcake options... one vegan and the other not. The waiter tried to tell us the entree was vegan which we know it would have the vegan symbol next to it on the menu if it was so. We were lied to and it was really awkward to see how they were trying to take care of the situation. She brought out another waiter who tried to say the same thing but then reverted to the manager who admitted it wasn't vegan and said they could give us a %15 percent discount...what? I'd pay triple to not have my friend's stomach experience what it does and it's shocking they believe a $2 discount deserves them the status of a quality restaurant. Also, hiring a waitress who laughs at you when you're dealing with an intolerance is not only unprofessional but just a disrespectful human being regardless. In addition, the store inside does have some nice vegan products, however, the prices are crazy inflated just because it is on the 5th avenue. I recommend taking a short walk off the Fifth Avenue so you're not paying $12 USD for a jar of peanut butter... We will take the few extra steps past BioNatural and continue going to The Pitted Date (which is right around the corner). Their service, professionalism, and quality of food is consistent and reliable, not to mention their entire restaurant is vegan. Their prices are even cheaper and not to mention the presentation/quality is straight fire.

I'the only I needed to remember was don't get too much because you have to carry it all back. I'd say prices are reasonable and they carry a lot of the necessities and essentials, plus some. I know this is a newer build and I felt like everything was so clean. Staff were constantly stalking shelves and just cleaning the areas. I felt like everywhere I turned there was a staff member. Lots of good food options to pick from. This store offers self checkout as well.

I was going to meet up with some friends at a resort a day later, so I made sure to pick up some sunblock here since it was less than half the price than what they were charging at the resort. In terms of food, you got everything here from fresh produce to snacks. You could also load up on water. They also had some local craft beer in the refrigerators here that I was thinking about buying, but passed because I was going to be in town for one day. there's also a pretty extensive spirits selection. In hindsight, I wish I got some bottles only because the stuff they gave me at the all inclusive resort a day later didn't get drunk at all lol. But overall, this place is conveniently located and has everything you need at a decent price.

A row of ATMs had reputable banks like HSBC and Santander with super reasonable exchange fees around $2 USD, and plenty of machines so you're not stuck waiting behind someone trying to remember their PIN. The store itself is massive and really well stocked. Fresh produce, dairy, perishable foods, American brand snacks, Mexican candy, and Mexican Takis that are spicier than the U.S. version (yay!). They also have a large alcohol section with brands Americans will recognize, plus local beers and mixers, including tropical juice flavors. Beyond food, they carry household items, swimwear, resort-style dresses, T-shirts, and footwear for the family plus a wide selection of souvenirs. My kids were able to pick out some shorts and tops for themselves and cute Mexican sugar skulls, keychain, and magnets for their teachers. Everything was spotless, including the parking lot and there's a restroom inside. Paying was easy with credit, debit, or cash. This place is incredibly convenient and well worth the drive. NOTES/TIPS: **From La Zebra, about a 20-minute drive. It's even closer to the larger resorts, plus downtown Tulum and the car rental area. **Parking was easy with a huge, very clean lot. **Restrooms inside. **It's set up a bit like a Walmart with specialty shops inside the supermarket itself. This location had a GNC and other shops. **Surrounding plaza has eateries and other businesses.

I would give a 0 rating if I could. DONOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST…read more Terrible multiple experience I have had here as a tourist visiting Tulum. This store has rude staff who have poker face when you ask for any help especially the ones at the billing counter. Starting with a return I had to make which was around 145 pesos, I returned and the card transaction came as declined so I informed the staff at the billing that maybe the payment didn't go through, they didn't try again and made a face like I was bothering them and sent me to bill next customer. After few days before my departure, as I didn't receive the refund and we were passing through Tulum, we stopped and I went to ask why the payment was not received even after 6 business days, the help counter staff didn't bother to answer me correctly, I used a translator to explain but they still didn't bother to help me. As I had bought a ticket to enter the parking I asked them to validate it and I told them im going to eat lunch as I am pregnant & hungry and I can't stop again to eat on my way to Cancun and they said ok - as I had also bought some groceries they validated it either ways. I thought they understood my request and I can eat my lunch there and we ate and after an hour we tried to exit the parking it didn't let us through. I went back again to the counter and as I was thirsty I took some water bottles and explained the situation at the billing and asked them to validate my parking they refused to and took away my water bottles inspite of me saying I needed it, they refused to give me water bottles as they asked me to pay 60 pesos again or they wouldn't let me out. I tried to explain that I had asked for an extension when I came previously an hour ago but they didn't care about me or my explanation. I had to pay just the parking and left without water and I was left thirsty and dehydrated. All of these incidents have added up my frustration and I haven't still received my refund and it's been 1.5 months and I have been sending emails but the support doesn't care to reply and refund and send me similar response everytime with half baked information. It isn't about the 145 pesos or even the parking fees, its the behaviour and the attitude of the staff that has made me realise they don't care about people or their health and all that matters is how they monetise the tourists and lack of ethics and values in the business has made me left frustrated.
