There are only two hotcake options... one vegan and the other not. The waiter tried to tell us the entree was vegan which we know it would have the vegan symbol next to it on the menu if it was so. We were lied to and it was really awkward to see how they were trying to take care of the situation. She brought out another waiter who tried to say the same thing but then reverted to the manager who admitted it wasn't vegan and said they could give us a %15 percent discount...what? I'd pay triple to not have my friend's stomach experience what it does and it's shocking they believe a $2 discount deserves them the status of a quality restaurant. Also, hiring a waitress who laughs at you when you're dealing with an intolerance is not only unprofessional but just a disrespectful human being regardless. In addition, the store inside does have some nice vegan products, however, the prices are crazy inflated just because it is on the 5th avenue. I recommend taking a short walk off the Fifth Avenue so you're not paying $12 USD for a jar of peanut butter... We will take the few extra steps past BioNatural and continue going to The Pitted Date (which is right around the corner). Their service, professionalism, and quality of food is consistent and reliable, not to mention their entire restaurant is vegan.
