The owner came out for the estimate and answered all questions. Once I said yes to the estimate, we agreed on a start date. The crew finished in the estimated time. A few points: -Deck looks great. They applied their surface material in a flagstone style. Very happy with the color palette and how slip resistant the surface is. Is it as cool as our original authentic Keystone Kool Deck coating? No. But it is cooler than other surfaces I've encountered in the valley. -We have a pool net with hooks that fasten into metal eyelets drilled into our pool deck surface. The crew was able to preserve the eyelets so we can continue using our safety net, no problem. -The owner told us that we'd see a white powder appear soon after installation, that it was part of the curing process and would eventually wash away. I was slightly alarmed to see the once pristine finish spotted with the powder, but he was right. A few months later, and the powder spots are nearly all gone. -Cash or check only. (50% down at start. 25% after initial prep work. 25% when complete). Very happy with the outcome. We now look forward to spending time at the pool instead of cringing while looking at an ugly, chipped surface.

And, the fact that they have been " in business for 40+ years (but, now Angie's List it shows 60+ years). If they've been in business that long they must be doing something right. The owner was punctual & professional. His workers were nice however, we never knew when they were going to show up, how long they'd be gone for lunch or what time they left. I asked them to tell us since we had 2 dogs locked in the house while they were working. The finished product looked pretty good, from what I could see, since it was too cold to get in the pool. I didn't like it at the separation between the pool & the in-ground spa. The owner sent them out, weeks later, to fix the area. By the end of the swim season I started seeing some hairline cracks, etc. I called the owner again but, he had just lost a loved one. So, I gave him several months before asking him to send them back out. They did eventually come out & fixed the areas. Once swimming season started again I started seeing all kinds of hair line cracks, a rather large crack by the steps & some sort of gouge right by the top step. Again, ""adequate"" seems to be the new norm.

Subsequent years saw a few leaks every couple of months. I suppose I should have asked what type of poly tube they were using but figured for the price (over $3k), they'd be using something of quality. I was way wrong. I have had to engage Sprinkler Doctors for each leak (and it's not just one at a time, it's several at a time) after giving up doing it on my own. It just became a burden. Every instance of Sprinkler Doctors coming out to fix the leaks, the tech invariably asks, "who installed this?" and "this tubing is cheap." Most recently, I had a tech come out to address more leaks and he flat out told me that the tubing they used was garbage and the installers should have or would have known that. My entire system needs to be replaced because now, with each leak fixed, another leak pops up a little further down the line. So if you want to have fun repairing leaks a year after install, go with this company! If that doesn't sound like a grand time to you, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. TL/DR: irrigation tubing should last about 10-15 years after installation if it's buried. Mine hasn't even lasted eight. Leaks began occurring the year after installation.

I could not recommend them less. ----‐---------------- We started this process on good footing, we spent time getting to know their team, talking through the project and setting expectations. We read their positive reviews and they put on a good face. But soon after construction started we realized that this team is completely out of their depth. As a whole they are destructively uncommunicative and are outright deceitful, Cesar their GC, and Katherine one of the business owners, particularly so. When problems were encountered, instead of working through solutions together, their strategy was to stall for as long as possible and to ignore our attempts to keep the project moving forward. Their behavior cost us months of delays which resulted in thousands of dollars lost, needless worry and lasting issues with our home and property. If you decide to move forward with this team, please keep record of every interaction, be extremely specific in your contract, and keep your attorney on hand. After our move in, and after clear explicit instructions from me on numerous occasions, business owner Katherine illegally and covertly recorded the exterior and interior of our property on multiple occasions, including video recording me inside of my home while I was unaware. Katherine and the rest of the team do not care about legality, your privacy, or the basic respect of their clients. During the build they tried their best to get more money out of us while delivering substandard work. The only way we were able to move into the home after many months past our projected move in date and many weeks spent in extended stays was by going around them to schedule our final inspection with the county, by communicating with our title company & lender, by filing complaints with the BBB and ROC. Stay on top of your project. If you are providing custom architectural plans, please know that the time, money and planning that went into your build documents mean nothing to them, they will do as they please without your intervention. Consent is not a word in their vocabulary. They changed our home and design, damaged our newly installed materials and appliances, illegally dumped their waste on our property & refused to properly clean up, refused to do work explicitly outlined in our contract, and attempted to cut corners at every turn. They're unwilling to learn, improve or accept responsibility. Through my interactions with this team I have come to learn what the term "gaslighting" means. They continued to smile in my face, offering pleasantries and small talk, expecting me to quickly move past their damaging behavior while their actions and words remained persistently harmful.
