We hired Copper Sky to upgrade our pool deck and patio with travertine. I can't imagine making a better choice. The father/son team of Daniel and Jacob were terrific to work with. They addressed all our concerns, worked with us on special design requirements, and regularly checked in on the construction crew as the work progressed. They addressed some construction issues before we even raised them. To call the construction crew a "construction crew" is an injustice; these gents are artists. My wife and I decided it was time to have our pool deck resurfaced, (approximately 600 sq ft deck), so we solicited bids from 5 different local companies, including the pool manufacturer who originally installed the pool in 1979. (See my separate review for that company). From moment we first contacted Daniel Baeza with Copper Sky Concrete, he was completely attentive and engaged with us as we outlined the project work scope. Of the 5 bids, three of them were very competitive, as they were literally within dollars of each other, had similar timeframes on the project completion time, and all offered a 2 year warranty on the pool deck resurface. But my wife and I both agreed that we should go with Copper Sky for the job. Daniel was very attentive to my follow up questions, as I contacted him several times during the selection process, as well as in preparation for the commencement, starting, during, and after completion of the project. I can't say enough about his genuine consideration and professionalism that he displayed to us. The work was started exactly on time, and was actually completed a day ahead of schedule. (We were told 3-4 days and the work was actually completed in 2 days, with the crew returning on the morning of the 3rd day to remove the protective cover from the pool and clean-up the entire work area). The quality of the pool deck resurfacing was all that we could have asked for, and we are very pleased with the product. We decided to have our rear patio and front porch upgraded and refinished from plain concrete. Daniel from Copper Sky Concrete came out to show us the different possible finishes we could have, the different looks they would give, and took measurements. A couple of days later I received his quote which was detailed and seemed very reasonable. After the work was completed, we were very happy with the end result. Daniel's workers were efficient, professional and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day. About a week after the work was finished, Daniel made another trip to our house to see what we thought of the outcome. He was happy that we were happy. I contracted to have my pool deck and patio areas resurfaced with a contractor other than Copper Sky- My mistake. I immediately saw that the project was not going well and put a stop to any further foolishness of what was being done to even make my areas worse than they where. I called a pool company and they said they work a lot with Copper Sky and gave me the number. I wish I would have known of this company sooner. Daniel and his staff where wonderful. I could not be more pleased with the job, very meticulous and more than I expected. I am a retired manager of Facilities engineering in the Bio-pharma industry so I know good work when I see it. But we went back to Daniel Baeza and he was able to come up with a more competitive bid and we gave them the job. And we're glad we did! We had good communication through the entire process.
