    New salad menu
    Mike I.

Stopped in for a dinner with a friend. We both enjoyed our meals and cocktails. They have a couple different places to sit - deck, bar and dining room. Our server was helpful ... and petty attentive ... though there were only a few diners in the dining room. There was some sort of Trivia going on, but maybe only 2 tables playing ? That was a little odd ... but adds to the variety of experiences offerd!

In the area and decided to try something new. It was a seat yourself place. There was one waitress for the place, which is wild for a Saturday. The Buffalo chicken dip was some of the best we ever had. The French Onion soup was also good. The salads were not good. The meat didn't taste good at all on the MAC salad, and if it didn't have dressing wouldn't be edible. The shrimp ceaser salad, they brought the shrimp drenched in butter and salad sopping in dressing ... Seems like just an appetizer type place. Meals were no good.

Me and my bf decided to go here for a nice valentine day dinner and I understand it might be busy for valentine day but it took an hr for just the appetizer! My boyfriend the Ruben and broccoli and I got the crabs cakes and fries when the delivered my food my fries where cold to the touch, and my crab cake where a little undercooked. Like I said I believe the restaurant might of just over packed themselves that night. My service was extremely nice and try to give me a complementary drink for my wait. I ended up leaving the restaurant about 15min after getting my food because of the overall experience. To say the least it was a one in a kind experience !

Very good, highly personable service supporting reasonably good food and drinks. I've been to this place twice (once on a Saturday night, once on a Wednesday night) and each time was solid. The mail detractor of the place is that it's kinda loud because of the acoustics, so voices and music can be unpleasantly loud, and even on a night without music, it's may be hard to have a conversation that doesn't feel like you need to speak loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. Cooper is good for a sports bar feel and maybe some live music if that's what you're looking for, but would give it a pass if you want a quiet drink or to hold a conversation with close company.

Good meal. Fast service. Nice setting for a happy hour. Flexible seating (bar, booth, tables)

When I say every screen, I think they have about 30 televisions surround the entire interior of the building as well as what looks like how Hockey games have the scoreboard around the center, that's how it is their with the televisions. Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! Every bite makes you want another. The waitresses their are attentive, communicative, responsive, they have jokes and are very polite and respectful. It's a place you can take your Mother.

This week's Friday Night Solo Date Night destination took me to Greystone Public House -- a spot…read moreI've heard people talk about for a while but had never tried myself. When I realized I'd be just minutes away late Friday afternoon on one of the nicest days of the year so far, it felt like the perfect time to finally give it a shot. Friday afternoon, 74°, end of a long work week...this absolutely screamed "patio dinner," and Greystone delivered on that front! I arrived around 4:45pm and asked for patio seating, and was seated at a great table in full sun. The vibe was exactly what I was hoping for -- calm, quiet, and a really beautiful setting. When I got there, the patio was about one-third full, but by the time I left around 5:30pm, it had nearly emptied out. That said, I could definitely see this being a go-to spot when the weather is nice, so reservations are probably a smart move if you're aiming for patio seating. For my meal, I went with the shrimp salad wrap with a Caesar salad and a Diet soda. On paper, it sounded like a solid, light dinner option. In reality...it didn't quite hit for me. The shrimp salad was very mayo-heavy with minimal seasoning, and it was loaded with large chunks of celery (like...a lot of celery). The menu also indicated the wrap would include tomato but it didn't. The shrimp were left whole, which made it tough to eat as a wrap -- I ended up just picking out and eating the shrimp and leaving most of the wrap behind...along with what felt like an entire stalk of celery. Not exactly what I had in mind. Service also missed the mark a bit. My server checked in shortly after the food was delivered, but then disappeared for quite a while. I finished eating and waited about 20 minutes for my check, with both my Diet soda and water empty and no refill in sight before she eventually came back. My total came to $24.30 before tip, which put the experience right around $30 for one person, one cold wrap, one side salad and a Diet soda -- and for that price point, I was expecting something a little more elevated, both in food and service. Greystone definitely has the look of an upscale, country club-style dining experience. The space is beautiful, especially the patio, and the overall atmosphere is appealing. But right now, it feels like the execution isn't quite matching the vision. The food lacked that "oh my god this is GOOD" factor, and the service didn't support the price point. Also worth noting -- a few small maintenance details stood out, like a broken toilet paper dispenser laying in pieces in the women's restroom and loose floor tiles near the bar that shift when you step on them. Not dealbreakers, but noticeable in a space aiming for a more polished experience. Overall, Greystone is a great spot for the vibes -- especially on a sunny day -- but the food and service didn't quite live up to expectations for me. I'd come back for the patio, but I'd probably manage expectations (and maybe try something different on the menu next time).
