Great time at aroogas! Love the bar and how it's separated from the restaurant. We had the Carolina wings and that was fantastic. Make sure to get it twice toasted so that the sauce is caramelized and sticky, game changer! We also had the buffalo chicken dip pretzel, and that was extremely good as well.

Ordered 20 wings - all raw, absolutely ridiculous, unsafe to eat even, never ordering from here again

I get why they get such bad reviews. If you read through them most the low rating is for customer service not the food. Went with four guys to watch some basketball, eat & drink. There we sat 4 guys (trying to not believe us being black matters) in front of the beer tab. 2 bar tenders going back and forth to pour beer from the tab. Either bar tender even asking if we wanted a drink. After 15 mins sitting at the bar and two bar tenders. We stopped the lady bar tender to take our order. She said 1 min please. Delivered beers to others. Proceeded to stop and talk to others that were eating and drinking. After 10 minutes going by we alerted the male bar tender we'd like to order. He to went to deliver others drinks. He did come back 4 mins later to take our order. Finally we got the wings and fries. The food is the only reason they got my 2 stars. Once we got the food. We had to ask for silverware, ask for napkins and get the bar tenders attention to get another round of drinks. The service is horrible at this location. That's why their rating is so low. Won't be back

For anyone who's from the city this place kind of reminds me of a mixture of Buffalo Wild Wings and the food/drink menu of a Dave and Busters. First, they have a great drink menu with such an intense variety to include buckets of cocktails you can order to share, they also have a pretty great selection of what's on tap. Their food menu contains just as much variety from loaded tater tots, sandwiches, wings, burgers and so on. American food but with a little bit of a twist. My coworker order classic hot wings extra wet so it came super saucy and the wings were literally fire they were so hot but good. I took an interest to something a little different that caught my eye... The donut burger It's a glazed donut as the bun, with a cheese burger and bacon. It was amazing, and definitely sensory overload with all the flavors going on but not too much because it wasn't a huge burger. I loved it and definitely recommend! Also, their fries are really good and I'm a fry person so that says a lot. The place is fun, they have poker tournaments which was going on, pool tables, and apparently a bunch of other things depending on what night you go. Even though they were pretty busy customer service was good and everything came out pretty quickly.

Came here for my 21st birthday celebration with family. We called ahead for 14 seats, and they graciously accommodated us. The waitress was very attentive and ready to get me my next drink at all times. The food came quickly and was piping hot. I had the guiltless wings with buffaque sauce, which I highly recommend. I don't like breading covering up the flavor of the chicken, so these were perfect. I also tried my dad's buffalo chicken mac and cheese, which was amazing. My grandmother has particular food needs and preferences, and the kitchen was more than happy to accommodate her needs. Overall, very happy with this experience!

The drinks were overly diluted and the bartender was attitudinal. Unfortunate for the amount of money spent. Do better

A couple of people were sitting at the bar. The restaurant has a very large u shape bar. I think this is the feature of the location. With tables around the bar area plus a small outdoor patio with 6-8 tables. The inside dark, which is suitable for a bar. Our waitress was super friendly- she came and check on me multiple times while I waited for my friends. She understood well that we were in a hurry, so she assisted us and getting us what we needed and on the road. The restaurant offers a lot of menus. Plus, they have a kids menu. With that they offer a wide selection of food and drinks. My friend informed me that the chicken wings are good. Another appetizer caught my eye-- I spotted pierogis on the menu- they were filled with potatoes and cheese. I was in heaven. They were served with a lot of onions and sour cream. I really enjoyed them and were quite a treat as not easily found where I live. The children ordered pizza off the kids menu- the pizza was like adult size. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. If I lived in the area and was seeking a causal restaurant with a bar vibe, this place is a good location to stop in at.

A burger in one place is much the same as a burger in any other? Ha!…read more The Blue & Gray Bar & Grill, right in the center of historic Gettysburg, goes one better. We'd spent an entire day touring the battlefield, it's a Saturday, and the town is full of tourists. No surprise we had a thirty minute wait for a table. But once inside and seated, it was clear to us that the B & G was no ordinary bar & grill. The burgers are themed for generals, both Federal and Confederate, who took part in the battle. Each burger is characterized by the general it's named for. The General Buford, for example, is served with bleu cheese crumbles and horseradish (he's a cavalry officer, get it?) and the Robert E. Lee features a slab of Virginia ham. I ordered the General George Meade. Meade was a Pennsylvanian, so naturally this burger comes with a pile of Philly cheesesteak. A carnivore's delight, to be sure. No complaints here. And if I'm ever back this way, I'm curious to try the General Longstreet: it's served with carmelized onions and peanut butter. That's gotta be good.

Lots of different wing choices too. Very little choices for entrées. More like an afterthought. Our waitress, bless her heart looked overwhelmed. I asked for a specific type of beer. "Oh im a girl, I dont know beers" say what? Then hands me a hand written list of beers to choose from. Also she totally forgot to put in one of the orders, for a table of 7. Yea, how do you miss a whole meal??? I asked for a medium burger, got medium rare. Along with cold fries. Who eats rare burgers??? The burger was delicious, but too rare for me (got the blue cheese one, named after some general) Overall I wouldn't recommend this place unless all you want is burgers and wings. Cause thats all they have. Oh and expect to wait in line with everyone else for a table. The place is smaller than it looks.

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us.
