Love this place, great hometown feel. They do a lot of different things very well. For me, the unexpected is the great pizzas. Also delicious Seafood and salads. And of course, lots of great adult beverages... bartenders know how to mix a great drink and a decent wine selection too. Reminds me of my favorite Neapolitan, Wood Oven, pizza in South Florida. read more

My wife and I visited family in Charlotte and they took us to The Copper Premium Pub in Lake Wiley. This is our second visit and The Pub is continuing its great performance as a local restaurant. The Pub is a traditional restaurant with a bar, inside and outside eating space. It looks like a pretty ordinary eatery until they bring you the Shrimp and Grits. This is not the boring shrimp and grits mix you get at most restaurants. Copper Pub's shrimp and grits is a fantastic blend of shrimp, andouille sausage, bacon and vegetable bits mixed with a mildly spicy cream sauce. This mix is a rich, flavorful, and mouth filling experience like no shrimp and grits I have ever eaten! Visit Lake Wiley's Copper Premium Pub to discover a delicious shrimp and grits you have never eaten before!! read more

The servers here are so very nice. The food is really good 90% of the time but my rant is that I was in the restaurant the other evening and the owner made his rounds through the restaurant. He stopped at all the tables around us and greeted the people at those tables and passed us up. I am a customer as well. Why didn't he stop and greet my table? Would this be acceptable if his staff did the same thing? I guess there is something wrong with me that I am not good enough to be greeted like the other patrons. I guess my money isn't green enough or maybe there is some other reason I have never been greeted by him. read more

Always the best...... wife has Chicken Marsala and I had Blackened Chicken Pasta! My dish was a little bland ( I should have had Marsala as well! LOL) ! Fried mushrooms as an appetizer! We will be back......$70 for lunch, just might have to limit our visits! read more

Food has always been darn good we have never been disappointed! Service like many restaurants post Covid is hit or miss and unfortunately it is extreme in its swings, from very good to downright awful. Short story is we still go back at least twice a month and will continue to because of the food! read more

We came here in a whim as we drove by it and we were not disappointed!!! There are a few restaurants on this little highway strip near Lake Wylie and this one stood out for us. The staff was courteous and friendly and we had a pretty quick turn around time on our food. I had wings and my wife had the protein salad. The wings were big and crispy which is always a good thing and the house ranch was delicious and home made. The protein salad comes with a heap of meat (chicken, salmon) on a Giant bed of lettuce. The beer prices were also generous for what we were getting. This is our new favorite place and we will definitely be back. read more

A great place to meet up and fellowship. I always like one of their many amazing salads. Many other pub food options on this menu as well. A good place to join your friends and laugh it up! Family friendly read more

Pet and kid friendly. Great food and music. I love the Portabella sandwich. Large covered outdoor seating and area for kids/pets to run around and play read more

We have gotten sick 2 out of 2 times we have been here. Last week my husband got food poisoning from undercooked chicken. We had issues both times and had to speak to the manager. This most recent time we could tell our waitress hated her job from the beginning and wasn't friendly to us. I mentioned needing a gluten free bun 3 times, it didn't arrive with a gf bun, she brought it out again lacking all the toppings, then brought me a plate of shredded cheese for my chicken sandwich (unmelted). I want to like this place because it's decently priced but they keep striking out. I dont think we'll go back for a 3rd strike unless I need to cut a few lbs and take my chance at getting food poisoning again. read more

Staff were friendly and we were quickly seated even with them being very busy. I had the blackjack chicken club. It was great. indoor or outdoor seating choice. read more

Nice spot for a simple lunch or dinner. Mostly handheld and salad options. Burgers are handmade, portions are large. The Buffalo chicken egg roll appetizer was really good. I had a grilled shrimp salad and added tenderloins for my meal. I wish the salad had more lettuce and less corn. The shrimp and steak were seasoned well. The outdoor area is nice, there is also an outdoor area for kids to play. Overall a nice spot for a quick bite. read more

This was a good spot. I ordered the Cobb burger with fries, side of honey nut Brussels Sprouts and a bud light orange. The burger was good but a little undercooked in spots. All four a side of blue cheese for sure. The fries were supposed to be herb fries. They were not and tasted like the were done for a while. Brussels sprouts were good. Service was a little slower but they were busy. Id go back again but wouldn't rush over. read more

Love love love this place. We've moved to the area a year ago and kept driving by wondering why it was always so busy. Now we know! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the manager/host. Michelle was a great server, food was yummy, and atmosphere was great. It's like walking through your neighborhood and being greeted by everyone. read more

NOT PET FRIENDLY! Owner threatened to kick us out if we hadn't already ordered food!! I think it's crazy to not be pet friendly when your patio is this amazing & expansive!! Although the food is fantastic 10/10 and the menu is also expansive with its options.. my experience was horrible because of the owner! If you're going to refuse pets on your patio then you should SAY SO on your website or something!!! 3 different websites (yelp, visit York county, & untapped) say YOU ARE pet friendly! From a business perspective, you've got to do something about it! Personally I think you should just be pet friendly I mean your patio is perfect for it.. I don't see why you wouldn't be, but either way, fix it!! read more

We lived in the Boston area (outside Boston) for 25+ years. There was no shortage of places to go and people to see. We're now in Charlotte near Tega Cay and Copper Premium was one of our first establishments to stop for dinner because it's down the road. Wow. When I say my wife and I have a new family, I'm not kidding. Since that first day a couple months back we've become regulars among the regulars. The staff are amazing - very welcoming, fun, engaging, and funny. A huge shoutout to Mike and Jessica behind the bar! The food: Not one item on the menu we haven't loved. Admittedly, we haven't tried everything but that's because when we do end up trying something new we like it so much that we get stuck on it and order it again and again and again. They call that FOMO (fear of missing out). I'm serious - everything on the menu we've tried has been outstanding and we're only about 25% into it after 15+ visits. Most interesting to us is that we feel like we're walking into Cheers every time we walk in and we've quickly become part of the crew. But Cheers is in Boston where we came from. Did all the Cheers patrons move South? Either that or Cheers really isn't in Boston. I personally guarantee there are no disappointments to be found here. I'd give 6 stars if I could. read more

I was at Copper last night with my husband. I was wearing two inch pumps. The hostess was showing us to our table when I turned and fell. While I was on the floor, the assistant manager came over to me and said three sentences. 1. Are you okay? , 2. Did you hit your head?, and 3. It was your shoes! Once I got up, the hostess said that the floor is slippery. She sat us at our table, but no one ever came to see how I was. I didn't expect any comps, but they could have at least checked to see how I was feeling. I landed hard on my elbow and hip, and I could have used some ice. For all you ladies out there-- wear sneakers! I won't be going back! read more

We were told about this place from a friend. I got the meatloaf with collards and garlic mash potatoes. All homemade! Very good. Spouse ordered the chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Chicken was tender. Can't say to much about that, a salad is a salad. For our appetizer we ordered ahi tuna, excellent!!!!! Cooked perfectly, about 1/8 inch cooked around the edges. We will be eating here again. We both highly recommend having dinner here. read more

Have enjoyed several dinners in a casual family fun environment. A scaled up pub menu, inclusive of specials by chef. Great lookout for any live sports events, both indoor as well as patio. Extra is a large outdoor grass area, kids bring their balls and have a go at it. Sunday staff decks out in NFL game jerseys. Had a most enjoyable family dinner w/ family & grandsons. Server, Tyler, took care of our large table with a professional and personable manner. Go for the food, fun and family atmosphere! read more

Hated our visit today. We been here several times and it's one of our family's favorite. This is way we decided to make reservations and bring our guest from out of town to one of our regular spots. However, I am not sure if they got new management or was sold, but this afternoon we waited over 45 minutes, from ordering, for a little over 1/2 of our food. The other orders came out 10 minutes later. The wait staff and manager appeared to be clueless in the food they serve and never apologized for the extremely long wait. The manager did apologize for not ordering enough food because of the holiday, but today is Saturday afternoon! I got a black bean burger salad which sounds good, but was not. Everyone else stated the food was okay, due to the super annoying hour leading up to eating. read more
