Visited Copper Premium Pub on 4/28/18 and had a lovely meal! We had perfect weather for the outdoor patio and our waitress, Sherry, was FANTASTIC. Super personable and on the ball. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken wings - the dry rub, jerk and Jack Daniels BBQ being our favorites. Not a wing was overcooked or soggy. We ordered a variety of salads with chicken, ahi tuna and salmon. Again, everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. Sherry told us the kitchen is proud to make their menu from scratch and even the dressings were killer - seriously, so good. A varied selection of beer tops off this location. The only thing to make it better would be a dog friendly policy since they have a fantastic yard! Can't wait to bring more friends here in the future. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to visit Copper. I was thinking it was just a regular pub with typical bar food, but the menu was more advanced than that. On a Saturday night, we had a short wait. We were seated in the patio area which is heated and good for random March winter temperatures. It's slight casual and plenty of large tv screens outside to keep track of games. The menu has a variety of items including salads, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and entrees and some with a slightly Southern twist. We had the redneck egg rolls to start. Basically this is collards in an egg roll wrapper. These at times were super juicy. My husband agreed it would be great to add some pulled pork inside these. The dipping sauce was delicious which was a spicy mayo type sauce. For my main course, I had a lamb burger with a side of brussel sprouts. The burger was cooked well and was juicy. The goat cheese and arugula paired well with the burger. My only complaint is the bun. The bottom bun was too thin and with a juicy burger, it became messy to eat. The brussell sprouts were an $2 upgrade. It was a huge portion. The flavors worked well with pieces of bacon and candied pecans. I wish the sprouts had a more roasted crunch to them. At one point there was a very bitter tasting piece. I probably will try something else next time. Service was great. Food came out fast and our drinks were refilled without us having to ask. We even got to go cups. This is a great place to grab a meal. read more

House hunting and hungry the Copper PP was a great place to take a break and refuel! But a word to the wise.....don't sit to long or you watch the sun set from this pub! We stopped to catch a quick bite, between lunch and dinner and continue on with our search. Sat outside, enjoyed a beer (many choices) and a couple of salads. Service was prompt and attentive, the salmon salad was fresh, tasty and a generous portion. Lot of space to spread out with an area, much like a back yard for the kids, both young and old, to stretch out. If your in the Lake Wylie area you owe it to yourself to give the Copper PP a try! We come here often especially for the salmon salad with cilantro-lime vinaigrette. Yum! This last time we had a table of 5. Kiersten was our server and she was top-notch. She was personable and attentive. We started off with fried pickles and they were very salty, but it didn't sway me from a 5-star rating. Everything else was delicious and they were willing to change ingredients on one item. Their pizzas were awesome, the meatball sub was yummy, and of course the salmon salad is always my fave. Other items we love are the bang bang shrimp, buffalo chicken wrap, fish tacos, and meatball sliders. We will definitely keep coming back. read more

I have been to Copper more han 100 times for both lunch and dinner. In my opinion, it is far above any other restaurant in Lake Wylie. I have eaten lunch and dinner and at times therre were 6 of us, down to 2, so that is a lot of dishes and in all of those times we have only had 2 dishes that we were not happy with. One had too much salt, but I never use salt so it would not take much for me to find it too salty. The staff is awesome and something that is very important, there are a good number, so service is very good as is the food and the drink. I highly recommend Copper !! read more

We've been there several times with the family and everyone always walks away full and happy. The wait can be a little long at times, but the food is worth the wait. The customer service has always been exceptional as well. The last time we went I ordered the breakfast pizza and the egg was overcooked, not sunny-side up. I'd already eaten 2-3 pieces before the server came back to ask how everything was and when I asked if the egg was supposed to be hard cooked, she said, "Absolutely NOT! Let me get you another one." Before I could object, she took the half-eaten pizza away and came back with a new one just a few minutes later. I told her she didn't need to do that and her response was, "yes I did!" I was impressed that she proactively took action and didn't even ask if I wanted a new one. I definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the area. read more

I was not overly impressed by this popular diner! I don't care for alfresco dining and I felt the food was cold and not to my liking. The wait staff also left a lot to be desired. If you're into Craft Beers and Wings or really expensive burgers (Red Robin they're no competition) then loud atmosphere and long awaits don't upset you Bring it on! Love this place! Food was great. I had the lemon chicken picatta and husband had a burger w sweet potato fries. Place was packed, especially the outdoor patio where we were sitting. Our server, Taylor S, gave us the best service even though she was swamped w customers. Love that there's an area for kids to play while waiting. We will be back & bring our grandkids. read more

We've been back in the Carolinas for a couple of months, and I am horrified that I have deprived myself of this awesome restaurant for so long! Had my first dinner here on a busy Friday night - waited a highly tolerable 10 minutes for a table. Lively ambiance, mostly adult patrons, and many TVs graced the space. Noted a sizable covered deck, but it was too chilly to request a table out there. Perused the menu (appetite piqued by the variety) and decide that I can't wait to try the redneck egg rolls and fried pickles. Also eyeballed the dozen or so taps and decide that I have to get an OMB Copper (duh). My table mates enjoyed having such a vast selection of beverages in Lake Wylie. The menu is packed with mouth-watering selections to suit one and all. Let me highly recommend the redneck egg rolls (six halves of perfectly seasoned wraps packed with southern greens and ham with two dipping sauces, OMG, so good) and the fried pickles (crisp, slightly spicy dills with a ranch-based dip). The three of us had no problem cleaning those up! For dinner, I decided on the Blackened ahi tuna salad (with a tender purple kale base and balsamic vinaigrette), perfectly executed, tender and flavorful. The other two diners with me both ordered buffalo chicken sliders - one with fries and one with chips - and they each sang the praises of their three really substantial-looking sandwiches. Kirsten took excellent care of us, and you should probably ask for her if she's working. Beverages never ran dry, and we were left wanting for nothing. I'll probably see you there at some point. Loved our visit for Mother's day. Highly recommend for families. They have a spacious outside area for kids to wander outside while waiting for food. The outside seating is a very nice touch to relax and to watch our kids enjoy being outside while waiting. The Boom boom shrimp was best had and burgers were cooked perfectly. If you are into sports, they do have TV's inside and nice drink selection while watching the game. Te decor is exceptionally tasteful. Great food and awesome service, we will be back. read more

Copper Simply Never Disappoints. I have been to Copper at least 50 times and their food is always consistent in its quality and quanity, in fact often my wife and I split an order due to it size. Copper has a large menu and I have to believe that anyone can find something there that they like. The owner, Freddie is usually there making sure that everything is up to his standards and it certainly shows. I have never, ever had anything that I did not like or had to send back and that is truly saying something. If you haven't tried Copper then I highly suggest that you do and I believe, that it is the finest restaurant by far that Lake Wylie has to offer. read more

Our family orders from here often, and the food is always amazing. However, trying to place to go orders is the most difficult thing. The past couple of times we have attempted to order, someone answers the phone but then puts us on hold and never comes back to the phone. Sometimes we never get in touch with anyone, the phone just keeps ringing. As much as we love eating here, it becomes very frustrating to have to deal with this every visit. read more

Sat at the bar. My husband and I have been to this establishment multiple times. Typically sit at a table even though we prefer sitting at the bar. Food was not remarkable, but not bad. We and one other customer sat at the bar. Service was not remarkable, what we have found at this establishment is that the bartenders are NOT friendly, this why we typically sit at a table HERE. Today was the icing on the cake. Not sure why the bartenders expect to be top on tax, but I could hear the bartender make a snotty comment to the incoming bartender about the amount of tip " that couple" left. Amazingly enough she was tipped 15% of the sale, excluding tax. The incoming bartender NEVER checked on us... too bad We went outside was waited on by someone else who provided excellent service and tipped 25%. Those who provide services are tipped based on the service they provide. Not for complaining about what that have or have not made that day. Baby sister, bro-in-law & the kids brought me here last visit and I was NOT disappointed. To be honest, I told my sister that if they put as much effort into the food as they did into the details of the building, they couldn't go wrong. The location is absolutely GORGEOUS. Meticulous detail on the woodwork, media setup, the backbar, etc. It's just really beautiful inside & out on the patio. The attention to detail is obvious throughout. We sat out on the patio, I ordered steak, my sis ordered fish & chips, brother-in-law ordered Cobb Salad, my niece ordered crab cakes, and my nephew ordered Ceasar salad. Oh! And we ordered the nachos as an appetizer... Nachos: they weren't your typical nachos (at least not want I'm used to being a California girl) BUT IT WAS DELISH! It was more of gourmet style than Mexican but I LOVED it. Actually, I'm now craving it lol. Steak: I have been craving a good steak and this didn't disappoint. It was a beautiful cut, cooked to PERFECTION. I was so happy. Fish n Chips: I'm not Fish n Chips person, but my sis was very happy, and the fries were VERY good Crab cakes: when a 7 yr old is over the moon about crab cakes, you know they're gooood (& they were, I tried them lol) Ceasar: great portion, fresh, and I loved the dressing Cobb Salad: I didn't try my bro-in-law's salad, but he loves a good salad and was pleased (I posted a pic) I liked our waitress, the only downside to our visit was she was a brand new waitress (I mean, like first week EVER) & so she hadn't picked up on all those things that you figure out with experience... like straws immediately with drinks, extra napkins when there's kids at a table, asking if we need condiments... but I'm giving her & the restaurant a pass on that because she was so sweet and BRAND NEW like the restaurant and very young but she was learning and willing to listen to tips from the other staff, so I know she'll be great with more experience. Glad to have something new and good in Lake Wylie - 1st visit today for lunch- service was great- atmosphere was nice and spot was clean. Had the pretzel cheese appetizer that was heavenly and a salad with grilled chicken - neither came from a bag - everything on the salad was super fresh and the chicken was perfectly cooked. My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap and gobbled up the entire thing. Okay. Now, you have GOT to visit this place. I was pleasantly surprised. And I gave this place FIVE STARS. I NEVER give five stars. That's saying something! We visited there last night for a volleyball season-ending dinner. We were part of a group of about 30 folks. This restaurant is unassuming as you drive by. It's just a common, ordinary building from the street. Once you step inside, though, you WILL BE impressed. This place is clean, has sophisticated decor, and the most eclectic food I've seen in a while. They also have outdoor seating. And out there, there is a fire pit, a horseshoe throwing area, and a large beach volleyball area. There are large screen TVs throughout the restaurant - inside and out - which provide coverage of more than just sports. So the moms can get catatonic with their crafts while the dads watch their sports. Let's talk about their food. Man, oh, man is their food GOOD! I ordered the brussel sprouts. These were no ordinary brussel sprouts. You will fall in love with your vegetables after trying these. My friends ordered a hamburger, the salmon, a pizza, and a salad. All orders were generous portions and everyone remarked that the food was exceptionally fresh tasting. This place is impressive. And it shows because they stay busy all week. read more
