What a find! Local veteran family owned home made chocolates! After finding Copper Kettle Chocolate Factory online and reading their story I knew I had to go check them out. I learned about East Spring Cypress v West Spring Cypress in the process and found them on the East side. As soon as we walked in the delightful shop I was happily greeted and hit with the tantalizing sights and delicious smells of fresh made chocolate. So MANY to choose from - how would I ever choose? So I asked the young woman who greeted us which were her favorites. She replied the toffee was one of their most popular items. Being a lover of toffee anyway, I went for it! EVERYTHING we bought was delicious. I really like the Mystery Box and recommend it as a way to sample many offerings in one box. Great caramel apples! I cut mine up and ate it over the course of three days and it kept really well. I wrapped it in wax paper and put it into the fridge. I mention this in case anyone else wanted an apple but knows they also can't eat it all in one sitting. My wife loves truffles, especially dark chocolate ones, and Copper Kettle makes them in-house and they are delectable! Always a good level of stock of many varieties, both in milk chocolate and dark chocolate which is our favorite. Try a sample and take something home; they don't disappoint. If GPS takes you to what must be a wrong location on Spring-Cypress, you're not far from your delicious destination! Just turn around and go back to Telge, take a left and the first right (somehow that's Spring-Cypress as well), and the shop will be on the left side. You must go. read more

We absolutely LOVE this shop! Everything is so delicious. The owner is amazingly kind and generous and we try to stop in at least once a month. A few days ago, I stopped by with 4 kids after VBS. She patiently fulfilled our orders and then gave each child a large chocolate penny. I have purchased birthday gifts, teacher appreciation gifts and just satisfied our sweet tooth here. Cute little gem in Cypress. We've been a couple of times in the last few months and every time they have been friendly and welcoming. Yesterday I walked in with my daughter who really wanted a big chocolate squared marshmallow because that's what she's gotten in the past. This time they had them shaped as Christmas trees for the holidays and my 4 year old not understanding that it's literally the same thing started bawling. The poor owner (I'm guessing she is) was so nice and patient towards my daughter. I took my daughter outside to talk some sense into her and once we came back in we ordered our chocolates. The owner even gave my daughter a special surprise and a chocolate penny. The surprise was a smaller version of the squared marshmallows. She didn't have to do that! All I can say is OMG! By far the richest, most delectable truffles I have had! And may I add under a buck each!!!!!! I think having this little gem close to home is dangerous. I can not believe this hidden amazing chocolate store! Since discovering this fabulous chocolate place we have returned so many times for gifts for friends and family but most of all for me !! I am a bit of a chocolate snob so I was truly amazed how good the chocolate is from dark to milk and even their white chocolate is delicious ! Their range is endless, warning the chocolate mint melts do not last more than a hour in our house . As an expert chocolate connoisseur I can say this is some of the best you will grace your taste buds with. This is a family affair and wonderfully friendly people too. Unlike many chocolates you may find elsewhere, the chocolate is thick, often saying triple dipped on the package. As a truffle fan, I don't feel these are the best but surely achieve great status. It's the other treats that get my exceptionally high marks. I love the triple dipped malted milk balls where the chocolate coating is a quarter inch thick. All the chocolate jellies are over the top exceptional as well as the thick chocolate gram crackers and the bark chunks. I have never tried the fudge because I have never been a fan of any fudge. Selection is vast, prices a tad high but you get what you pay for. If you have weak taste buds and can settle for just any cheap chocolate then you won't want to pay the price for the exceptional quality you will find here. I'm a regular every week. read more
