They tried to charge me for a mistake *they* made. I took my car in to get some issues fixed. I had *just* replaced the entire exhaust system, as they told me I needed to in order for the issues to be fixed. They blew up the brand new muffler in my car, did a sloppy weld job on the new one, then CHARGED me for it. They agreed to drop the charge afterward, and I would have been fine to leave it there, but then my exhaust system got damaged. Again. The explosion they caused weakened the pipe, and it came off on the interstate. I paid $800 dollars to these people, and now my car's not in driving condition because of a mistake they made. My family used to be dedicated customers to this shop. Now, because of this mess, nobody in my family will ever take their car here again. I wonder, what other mistakes did I pay for? I took my truck to have a new motor put in it and a new chunk as well as new CV axles . After picking up my truck I parked it and only drove it to town once in a year and moved it from my carport to my yard when I got stuck . I engaged a four-wheel drive and got out very easily of course I only had to go in a straight line . A couple of weeks ago I sold my truck to my son-in-law . When he pulled out of my driveway it started acting like it was binding up and making a weird noise in four-wheel drive . It was taken back to this particular repair shop and they said that I had driven it 14,000 miles since I brought it to them . At the most I drove it 30 miles and my receipts show that . Anyways they did not fix the s***** job that they did and said that it had been too long even though the mileage reflected that I have not driven it . I took it to another mechanic and he said that the gear ratio in the trunk that they installed did not match my rear end . Additionally I referred a friend there and she took her car in for transmission problems to get a new transmission put in . They said that only Gear 2 was weak and then everything else was fine and that by rebuilding it it would solve the problem and the motor was running very strong . 2 days ago they told my friend that not only did she need a new transmission but she needed a new motor . I've been taking my vehicles to this place for 35 years or more but ever since Lamar the owner got sick the person who took their place has been doing a very sheisty job . I do not recommend them at all and I regret recommending them to my friend . read more

Can we give them 6 stars? We would. Our van broke down just outside of town on a Friday afternoon as we were headed home after a vacation. They got a local tow truck (Boring's) to come pick us up in 20 minutes versus the 2 hours our auto service had told us. They sourced the part and got our van back on the road within hours. Their tech did great work and even stayed after closing time to finish the job and connect with us. Can't say enough good things about these folks. read more

Well all I can say it very unhappy . Paid 600.00 to replace a alternator knowing that was not the only thing wrong . Never even did a diagnostic test on my car. When I picked it up drove away stalled out 5 times and I had to drive it 94 miles back to Atlanta was scared to turn of off thinking it may not start back up .I questioned the mechanic before leaving after coming back driving it around . Told me he did t work in it Keith did but he wasn't available to speak . Check engine light still on they told me it would go off right after a Sensi was replaced . I had that done when I got back still in my garage sounds terrible and 9 codes came up. Called back today he told me the cam sensor was put on wrong by someone screwed car up but still proceeded to put new alternator in knowing that would not work . Didn't even diagnose the car . After asking him on phone he said no then I said I had it diagnosed then he said yes and asked me what codes were . Now sitting in my garage sounds worse than before and he was so rude on the phone . I was nice I could tell he was upset I called . I asked him how he was he proceeded to tell me how bad is day is so I should hung up then . I just wanted to know what he did and got very defensive . Don't take your car there only reason I took it so far was recommended . Very rude . I'm sure many people go there small town but let me warn you he is rude . I think the own NAPA parts store there . After being blown off and insulted by "Rhajib" at the Four Mile Grocery, when my tire was leaking profusely and his air machine ripped me off, I limped into Copperhill and was so deeply grateful to find this place. The young fella working was respectful, did NOT address me as "Honey" was ole Rhaj did, and patched my tired for $10. I gave him $20. It was so worth it as the hole in the tire was large, it was late in the day, and I would not have made it home. Saved me having to get all dirty changing it. I cannot recommend this place more highly for courtesy and professional service, and I cannot stress enough how much I advise giving ANY business to the misogynistic jerks/crooks at Four Mile. read more
