These cowboy boots were super authentic, one of a kind, and with a bit of polishing, I knew these would be glamorous! This pair also had a nail stuck into the footbed so that had to be cut/grinded down. In addition, it needed a bit of stretching of the leather (from the footbed as it fit a tad narrow), and the leather needed a good polishing. It took about four days for them to get these things done (as they have a large clientele) but believe me it was worth the wait! I've had the pleasure of meeting Brenda, one of the owners and she said they've been around for twenty-plus years, and still thriving (you can tell why because of the quality of work they do). I got the boots back as if they were brand new, and was so happy with the end results! Their prices are reasonable! I have found my local cobbler and I'm sticking with them for all my future shoe needs!

We left and called this store to order some boots that liked online that ended up being the wrong size. We were offered the opportunity to return them initially or go to another red wing store. No red wing store had them in stock so we called Orem to ask if we could order the right pair. We were told we would get a call back from Aimee in 30 minutes when she got to work but it ended being 4 days later. To our surprise it was the manager of whom we had never spoken to outside of just seeing him at Orem who called and refused to help. He stated that we knew it was a discount store and that all sales are final. We told him that although they are a discount store, we called in to give Aimee the commission on creating an order for us on a style we viewed online and that they were the wrong size. We told him that we needed to hurry and get a solution to this situation but he refused and started to give us a number for customers care then hung up. We called back and got no answer.Now we are stuck with a pair of boots that don't fit. If you go here and see a guy with a long beard with an attitude. Walk out. This Red Wing franchise doesn't deserve to be associated with such a good boot maker. Update: no thanks to Orem customer care helped and sent the right boots and a return label for the ones that don't fit. To my surprise, the conversation was less than 5 minutes. I've brought a lot of my mom's vintage boots here for heel tap repairs, multiple pairs of fryes for sole repair, multiple pairs of booties to get sole and front tip repair, and I always get my heel taps replaced here. They also repair purses as well and other leather goods. I've been coming to G's for over a decade and actually look forward to the experience of getting my shoes back in much better shape than I leave them. The two guys who run the place are the coolest, chill vibes, and just a great local spot to get your shoes repaired. Love this place!!!
