Great little place on US12 in Jonesville MI. The building was built in 1852 and became Rosalies Roadhouse in 1986. This place has a history of the halfway point between Chicago and Detroit and was used as a meeting spot for the mob leaders before they would go to their lake houses, the upstairs was a brothel at one time. The restaurant was started by the owners mother, who will be 80 soon. The atmosphere is quaint with rustic feel. The food is impressive and the service is really great. Rosalies was named a Yuegling distributor. This is a place that offers a good selection and great atmosphere.

I've never had somebody serve a margarita that they use their sour mix, Cointreau orange juice, tequila, and topped it off a soda water. I have to say it was pretty bad too. I gave up at that point. I think the only way I plan to go back as if I go for lunch and have iced tea. Again, other than horrible watered down margaritas that are sweet and awful, everything else was perfect.

The green salsa had some kick, and the orange had wonderful layers of flavor. Although we did not need it, we noticed a bar for extra toppings. In 2025, most of the entrees seem to be in the $14 to $16 range. Again, the quantity of food was way more than we could eat in one meal. I originally told my companion we were not leaving until I ate every delicious bite of my nachos. That proved impossible.
