    Tuna tartar

We walked into the restaurant and it was super cute. The lights on the wall spelling out the restaurant name was awesome. We ordered bread as an appetizer and it came with diff rent types of bread and three butters. A maple bourbon, sun-dried tomato, and a beef tallow. The beef tallow was not my favorite but the other two were amazing. I got the bless your heart and it was delicious. My husband got the hanger and crab Mac n cheese for dinner. The steak was so tender and seasoned amazingly. I ordered the lamb shank and it was so tender it was falling off the bone. It came with jalapeño and Gouda polenta which was ah-mazing. My Mom got the tuna tartar and it was delicious. It kind of had a bit of a bit to it. My dad got the ribeye and Brussel sprouts and they were delicious. Our server Peyton was spot on. Everything he recommended was perfect. He was so kind and energetic. He fit in with our group. We will definitely be going back.

My boyfriend and I decided to do a cute brunch date at Coop 303 since we had never been. We decided to get the steak and eggs and coop benedict. Honestly the worst breakfast we have had in a while. The food had no flavor at all the only thing that made our experience enjoyable was the live dj they had. Not only was our food horrible but it was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. I would not recommend eating there which is a shame since the view from the roof was nice.

Early dinner, last minute decision when we were in the area. Two adults and four kids. Sat rooftop. Server: Super nice, quick, good service. Food: Fried green tomatoes- wonderful as normal. Then we had the 8 piece chicken for 3 of us, with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Brussels were super good- great flavor. Also had a kids macaroni (unfortunately pasta was cool), but my child was fine with it and then a kids chicken and waffles- came with a good and sweet sauce. Drinks were delicious- one with gin and Prosecco and the other with gin and lemon- both light and crisp. Combined bill was about $150 for a party of 6. I would expect to pay a decent amount more for all adults or if more main meals are purchased. Worth noting that the dinner options were limited. A few salads and about 5 meals outside the kids meals and appetizers. Some of the items they offered in the past were no longer available.

The food here was amazing. 2 friends and I ordered a few small plates & split them.... WOW! The service we received from our waitress was on par & the food was SPECTACULAR! We were seated inside of a booth which gave us a private feel which we loved. I have never laughed so hard at a dinner in my life. Don't forget to order the margaritas! Everything about this experience was a 10/10!

Coop 303 has a wonderful ambience located in the heart of Atlantic Beach! I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and loved how they could accommodate a large party! My husband and I tried both the Peaches and Cream appetizer and the Hot Chicken sliders which were both delicious. The peaches and cream stood out to us with the burrata on top! For our man we shared a burger and I was sad to see the burger looking like a frozen store bought patty. It lacked flavor and was a rather tough texture. The service was good considering our large party, however the food took awhile to get. If you're looking for good drinks and fried chicken, this is your place.

Went for valentines dinner. The valentines dinner was 5 courses. Each course was very lack luster. My husband gave his food a 7.9. I gave my food a 4 at best. It was $95 per person. I got the scallops for the 1st (came w 2 scallops) 2nd course was scallop bisque (weak overall and was sprinkled w bacon bits. The bacon tasted old) 3rd was salad. I chose the Caesar wedge. (The wedge came out seared w egg salad sprinkled on top. Weak and bland) 4th I ordered the Cod. (The cod was completely frozen on the inside and had to be sent back. Cod came back out on the bed of risotto. While eating the risotto I discovered a long hair underneath it! Thank god I didn't put that scoop in my mouth. I could see the hair as I scooped the risotto off the plate and the hair was hanging off my fork! My husband and I were absolutely horrified. I didn't even finish it. Just pushed it to the side and stopped eating. Didn't even mention it to the waiter at all I was just DONE.) the 5th course came out and I ordered the red velvet. Gave it to my husband. We were there a total of 2 hrs. It took awhile for all courses to come out btw. I know it's Valentine's Day but they were literally scrambling. They also sat us in the back of the restaurant right in front of the kitchen/grill. I disliked that heavily. I've been wanting to go to that restaurant for years but never had the time bc I do not live close by. Was pretty disappointed with the experience. Will never go back.

This was my first time having their brunch and it wasn't bad. Ordered a cocktail that wasn't on their brunch menu and an appetizer and entree and it was pretty good. Service was good. This time we sat on the roof top but it was actually pretty nice as it had heaters in the ceiling because it was kind of chilly. Also loved the music that was playing.

A wonderful experience at Coop 303! This area of Jax Beach is so cute, filled with a ton of walkable shops and restaurants. It was the weekend so it was quite packed, and most of the restaurants had over an hour wait. Fortunately, we walked into Coop 303 at the right time because the three of us were able to be seated right away. Service was fantastic! The menu is small, but filled with delicious options. We had to start with the Peaches & Cream - fried green tomatoes, burrata cheese, peach jam, and a mustard balsamic reduction. We also ordered the baked oysters, and as my main I went with the Coop 303 Fried Chicken Basket - 48 hour dill pickle brined. Incredible and so juicy! The truffle parmesan tater tots were the perfect side along with garlic mashed potatoes. If you didn't already know, I'm a potato girly. Hope to make it back here again for another delicious dinner!

The service provided was far beyond my expectations. The aesthetics of the building adorned with Christmas decorations was an eyeful. The location is quite busy but the complimentary parking was perfect and convenient . The mussels were delicious and well seasoned. The red snapper was the star of the show, perfectly seasoned and huge. I really liked the brussel sprouts too. The fried chicken was fried to perfection but lacked seasons. All together the experience was wonderful and well deserved of a second trip back.

From the start the service was pretty abysmal. I felt it was off putting the valet guy sitting right in front of the front door didn't at least try to open the door for an older couple walking in, it's not a necessary gesture but would have definitely added to the experience. Once seated we waited almost 10 minutes for just water, still not greeted by our server. I walk up to the bar which is directly behind our table to get a glass of wine and it almost seemed like it was out of ordinary for a bar to be used as a bar especially considering I have had no communication with our server. Once we finally got a server throughout the course of our meal it seemed as if she was too bothered to even stand at our table for more than 30 seconds. I then ordered the filet mignon medium rare and received it medium well..twice. I will also add I have never had such a fatty piece of steak none the less when i'm ordering filet mignon. Overall my company and I were very unimpressed and disappointed in our whole experience. Will not be returning, which is unfortunate due to its great location.

First dinner in Jacksonville FL for us, and if this is a sign of the food here, this trip will be very enjoyable. I was little nervous based on some of the other reviews, but glad we still tried. The ambiance was so cute in the heart of Atlantic beach. They have indoor and out seating, unfortunately it's freezing here so we sat inside. The entire staff from walk in and leaving were so friendly and engaging. Only bad thing is parking. Restaurant is located in like a little strip and it was packed so took us a while driving around to find a spot. The food...everything we ordered was so good from the drinks to desserts. Our server was great. Service was timely. He was so attentive probably had one too many drinks(haha). We started the meal with the lamb lollipops, which were Delicious. Then the mains were hot honey salmon that was cooked perfectly and I could of drank the asparagus sweet onion puree. Whole fish fry, and the catch of the day was red snapper. The fish was cooked perfectly, very flaky and tasty. Red potatoes and Mac and cheese were great sides as well. Then ended the meal with a hot caramel apple cobbler. Breaking into the warm flaky crust and diving into the hot caramel apple inside topped with warm ice cream, YUM YUM YUM! Great experience.

i have to be honest, i had really high hopes for the restaurant as i've seen it on jacksonville best eats pages, etc. unfortunately my experience here just wasn't what i expected and was extremely lack luster...i went with a friend and upon arrival there was no one at the host stand and we waited around 5 minutes before someone asked if we had been helped to which we said no and then were seated. (keep in mind, there was only 2 other tables seated on the main floor) we ordered two drinks, a firecracker margarita and a kentucky mule. i can handle spice very well and the margarita legitimately tasted like hot sauce. it was to the point where i could not enjoy it. the kentucky mule was filled with chunks of ginger and also almost undrinkable. we did not finish either of our drinks. the loaded tater tots for appetizer honestly weren't bad and probably the highlight of the entire meal. moving on to our entrees, we got the french toast cuban monte cristo. sounded good on paper, but in practice i don't think so. there were so many flavors going on it was impossible to enjoy as well. i took one bite of the sandwich and put it to the side. my friend ate half of a half, before putting it to the side. our server came to check on us all of 2 times for the hour we were there. this is the first time i'm never gotten a to-go box. the server did ask why and we honestly felt bad but explained everything to her and she advised she was going to speak to her manager. while we didn't ask for anything to be taken off our bill, the manager gave us 50% off of the sandwich (that i didn't eat) and we still ended up with a $70 bill. i'm not expecting anything from this review but, waited a few days to be a little more level headed before writing this. we love trying food spots in jax, but this is one place we will most likely not go back to

Coop 303 was a pretty decent spot to eat at for brunch. We ate on the rooftop which was a great location (elevator available), although it gets very loud very fast with multiple parties. I tried the parmesan truffle fries for the appetizer, the breakfast bowl for brunch, and split the oreo cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake. In all, something that I noticed throughout all items was that everything seemed a little bland. Nothing stood out as unique or special to me, although it tasted good. The fries were great (double fried/battered), but could use a lot more parmesan in my opinion. The breakfast bowl was pretty mediocre, and I was left wanting more flavor, especially on the chicken (their specialty). The eggs were pretty watery. The oreo cheesecake was so light - a great desert, while the flourless chocolate cake was just too much chocolate for my taste, and I love chocolate. Not bad, just not for me. The service was amazing (very attentive). In all, a good brunch spot for a party, but don't expect food you think about later.

Peaches and cream appetizer. Fried green tomatoes with burrata. Very tasty.

Quay was our personal server and I think he was our bartender too- although there was another person back and forth behind the bar. We added a little chaos to the mix with a handful of family who showed without rsvp-ing. Add in toddlers plus easily 15 people.... Yeah- mad respect for Quay!!! I admit to being sad that I couldn't get my broiled platter- that is my favorite Fish Camp dish, and apparently not available for lunch. I pivoted and got the steam pot for 2. For myself. And guess what- I ate all the crab, hmmm so happy! Laugh- it was hilarious, I was still cracking crab while everyone sung happy birthday! I was thrilled. I brought home most of the potatoes, corn and such- it even had mushrooms and broccoli! YUM! My old fashioned was also perfection in a glass. John had the shrimp and fish basket and loved every bite. Several raved about the shrimp and grits. Caron loved her mahi mahi. Connor got the Spicy Wild Caught Shrimp Linguine with White Wine, Garlic, Tomato, Pecorino and inhaled it! Even the kiddos were super happy with the kids chicken strips, although the kitchen delivered the first plate to the wrong toddler and the lovely parents didn't question how they got food without ordering and that little girl dug right in. Opposite end of the table- this grandma spoke up and we split the food so all the littles were fed. Considering our chaotic group, it went very well. I didn't hear a single complaint from our party. Hopefully we didn't drive the staff too crazy!

I used to absolutely love this place. It was our go-to for seafood, celebrations, family dinners,…read moreand special occasions for years. We recommended it constantly and genuinely enjoyed supporting them. Unfortunately, after our last few experiences, that loyalty is completely gone. The problems really started during a dinner visit with my spouse. We had a reservation for two and specifically requested a booth because my spouse has herniated discs and booths are much easier on her back. The hostess with glasses told us there were "no booths available for parties of two," so we were seated at a tiny two-top directly in front of an empty booth. Minutes later, another couple - who apparently didn't even have the correct downstairs reservation because Wheel House was closed for a private event - was seated in that exact booth instead. When I politely questioned it, I was told they were "accommodating them." Interesting, because apparently accommodating a medical issue for customers with a reservation didn't matter. Still, we decided to give the restaurant another chance for Mother's Day. To their credit, we were seated at a booth this time after I both noted it in the reservation and called ahead to confirm it. Our waiter was someone we immediately recognized from a previous visit, and my parents mentioned he had waited on us before at that same table. Somehow, from that comment alone, he became convinced we were related to Chef Tim Tillus. From there, things got bizarre. He kept talking about "Timmy," mentioning reunions and saying he used to live with him. The restaurant was extremely loud, and my father had forgotten his hearing aids that day, so honestly we could barely understand what he was talking about. We just smiled politely and focused on asking about the menu because we truly had no clue where the conversation was going. Eventually, he came back and realized we were NOT Chef Tim Tillus' family. He then explained that the kitchen staff had apparently been laughing because the chef saw us and said, "That's not my family." So somehow this became a whole ordeal in the kitchen over a completely innocent misunderstanding. We laughed awkwardly because what else do you do at that point? But honestly, the whole interaction felt strange and unprofessional. Unfortunately, the food was even worse than the awkward service. My spouse ordered the all-day seafood soup, and somehow there was basically ZERO seafood in it. That alone was shocking because their soups used to be incredible. My father ordered the broiled platter, and the portion size was honestly embarrassing for a $29 dish. His parsley potatoes consisted of literally five tiny cubes - my mother counted them because we were in disbelief. We have eaten here for years and NEVER saw portions this small. I ordered the fish special, and it was nothing like described. It was supposed to have pecans and blackening seasoning. There were no pecans, no blackening seasoning, and the fish itself was dry, bland, overcooked, and flavorless. For $32, I was served what looked like a tiny sad pile of fish in the middle of a giant empty plate. The pork chop looked beautiful but tasted absolutely awful. At this point I honestly don't know if the kitchen quality has completely collapsed or if nobody is checking food before it leaves the line anymore. Either way, it was terrible. My mother ordered scallops on the half shell as her meal - something she has enjoyed there many times before. This time, the scallops were tiny and somehow greasy. It was shocking these dishes were even leaving the kitchen. What makes this so disappointing is that we truly loved this restaurant. We weren't casual customers. We supported this place for years because we believed the food and experience were worth it. This wasn't just a mediocre meal or an "off night." This was a genuinely terrible dining experience from start to finish, made worse by the fact that it happened on Mother's Day. The service felt awkward and disorganized, the portions were insulting, the food quality was awful, and there seemed to be zero quality control happening anywhere. At this point, our money will be supporting other establishments instead. It's honestly sad because this place USED to be special. I sincerely hope management fixes the kitchen, consistency, and overall professionalism before even more longtime customers walk away.
