Con artist at cool rides! Bought a truck from here. Had it for a week and the engine blew up. I was lied too about the condition of the engine when I asked about some noise coming from the turbo. Now I know I should have taken it to a shop before buying. Needless to say con rides didn't help at all and when told Keith about this problem, Keith the owner told me "that's why I put the extended warranty on your policy" BTW it was no help and didn't cover it blaming it on cool rides, which is Crap place to buy a car or truck. 13k having a new engine put in the truck. Bought the junk truck from cool rides for 16k and 13k on new engine 29k for a used truck. Thanks allot cool rides or should I say "Con Rides" because they'll con you right out of your money. Never again. read more

Great place, my family and I have been coming for years. We have personally bought 5 vehicles from them. Great prices and great people. We always come to them first. read more

My son bought a truck here. The motor blew up on day 10. I understand 'as-is', but I also understand business integrity and working with customers when you've sold an absolute disaster. Keep driving by and find a reputable dealership. We've bought many used vehicles in our lives (from other dealerships) and the few times there's been an issue the dealer worked with us. Not here! Our son is now on the hook for an $11,000 motor on top of the truck. read more

I only picked a star because there was no way to give a negative star. My niece and I saw a vehicle on website they had listed. she wanted it real bad but the rude lady up front told us it had been sold. This lady did not even make an attempt to show us another vehicle and pretty much acted like she didn't even cared. Little did she know , my niece had brought with her $ 17000 in cash to purchase a vehicle. Their loss for sure and all they had to do was just be a courteous sales person . I think she is getting the LeMans down the road from there read more

Horrible customer service and I would never buy a car there ever because I have a feeling a large amount of their cars are lemons. When we got there we weren't greeted out on the lot at all, not till we went in to request keys to a car did anyone even act like we existed. Then they just gave me the keys and expected me to BACK this SUV up a long hill to get it out of where it was parked. They didn't even ask if I would have liked someone to do that part for me. When I got in and turned the car on and started backing up it felt funny but I thought maybe it was just my imagination. Once I got it up the hill right after I left to test drive I realized it had had a majorly flat tire. What car lot allows that? The car wasn't detailed either which was just bad business. read more

I test drove 2 Jeep Cherokee's and a Ford Escape. Was looking for a reasonable cheap 4 wheel. Purchased the Escape. Been a few months now, overall runs well. I did replace the rear brake shoes and the front disk pads. Replaced the Radio/CD Player with a new bluetooth player. Suspension is a little noisy, will replace some of the parts. Overall, for a 'as-is' used vehicle it was worth the money. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I called at 10:15 am and inquired about 2 trucks I found on car-gurus. Bryan (part owner) confirmed that both trucks were still available. I informed Bryan that I would leave Denver at 3 and be there at 4:30-5:00pm to take a look at both. My wife and I left work early with our newborn infant and drove an hour and a half to look at the vehicles. When I arrived Bryan approached and asked if he could help. I let him know I called this morning about the two trucks and was ready to look at them. He was immediately stand-off Ish, Bryan replied that he sold one of the trucks and the other was not on site. The other truck was at the detail shop located across town and Bryan said I would have to drive myself to see it (I never received a call to inform me that neither vehicle would be available to view, or an apology for the oversight or inconvenience). Once I arrived to the detail shop the gentleman took me to look at the truck for a moment. He said he had to go and that I couldn't drive it. I told him that Bryan told me I would have to drive it back to the shop if I wanted to purchase it. The detail shop worker called Bryan to confirm. Bryan then asked to have me call his cell, which I did and then told me that maybe we shouldn't do business. I was so upset at this point my entire day/evening had been completely wasted and he couldn't even find it in himself to apologize. I was shocked to find out later he was part owner. If you're looking for a place that cares about their customers or has empathy when they make a mistake keep looking ( Bryan even implied it was my fault by telling me how many people no call and no show, wow). An owner who treats customers and their time this waycant possibly care about selling you a quality vehicle read more

"YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN" This is what was told to me as my car that I bought from Cool Rides sits on a lift at a local mechanic. I bought this piece of garbage two weeks ago and was told it was a great car. It started pouring oil two days later. So I called to inform them, I wanted to return the car. But they said lets get it repaired first. They did pay for a new manifold. I was told by Brian, "oh we never checked that car out before we sold it, sorry" Since then I spent almost $2000 in repairs and it still leaks oil. So Brian said take it to their mechanic again, well I got the bill and now Cool Rides refuses to pay for the work. I shouldn't have trusted them. The only thing they sell is junk. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME My husband and I have been looking for a pickup for a few weeks, we found two we were interested in taking a look at. We called Cool Rides and spoke with Brian to confirm both pickups were available. He confirmed they were. I rearranged some work meetings to make the long drive over rush hour from Denver to Colorado Springs (2 hour drive). I had to leave work 2.5 hours early to make this happen, I then pick up my 3m old baby and husband. We arrived at the dealership around 5pm. My husband was greeted by Brian and he asked how he could help. My husband stated we came to see the two trucks we had called about earlier that day. Brian then informed him that neither of the pickups that we called about were at the dealership. One he sold and the other was across town getting detailed. Brian then advised us that if we wanted to see the other pickup we would have to drive ourselves across town to the detail shop. (??? This is how you treat potential customers???) So, we drove across town - at this point we had already drove 2 hours to see these pickups might as well go another 20 minutes. We arrived at the detail shop and the detail guy said he could show us the pickup but couldn't drive it because he had to leave....(Wait what???) So my husband calls Brian - looking for an explanation at the lack of preparation and professionalism that his car dealership's customer service has shown us... 1. We didn't receive a call about the truck we drove two hours to see or 2. That the other truck we wanted to test drive wasn't on the lot and had no intention of being there. At this point Brian had yet to apologize and actually SHIFTED BLAME TO US stating, "people no call no show all the time" Unfortunately for us we didn't, we actually showed up to test drive both pickups that we called about and neither were there. An owner who treats customers and their time this way can't possibly care about selling you a quality vehicle. Imagine the customer service you will receive once the lemon you paid your hard earn money for breaks down. read more

Sold me a Jeep with the lug nuts sheered off the right front wheel. Now I'm out $ 1100.00 bucks for repairs not to mention the fact it could have killed me and my wife! I should take blame for not taking it to a mechanic first. Don't take this place for granted. Not so cool Cool Rides read more

Can I vote zero stars? SCAM artist! They had an SUV all cleaned up, they said no problems with vehicle. Took it to a local mechanic and they found an extensive list of problems and showed me signs the vehicle was clearly neglected. At the very least, make sure you have ANY car you're looking at independently inspected. read more

Brian, So the only reply you can come up with is the lie you told to the BBB? Also, nice touch using the car you sold me as your profile picture. All you are doing is proving my point that you are nothing but a scam artist who will sink to a new low daily. This truly shows what type of character you possess, or actually lack of character is more like it. If you buy a car from this place, they will: A) Rip you off B) Lie, lie and lie some more C) Not make good on any of their promises D) Will ridicule you buy putting the piece of garbage they sold you as their profile picture. Way to stay classy brian. read more

This is your average used car lot. If your looking for a perfect car you might try a new car dealer. The cars here are sold as is. Do your due diligence. I liked the people and the straight forward sales. I didnt feel like they were playing games; unlike new car dealers. Does my used truck have issue, sure it does; but its got 177k miles on it read more

Awsome dealership with great deals. I shopped around for a inexpensive vehicle and they had a awsome selection. I recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a Jeep Cherokee from Brian when Cool Rides was on Colorado Ave. I've had the Jeep for 5 and a half years now and sure I've had work done on it but it had 150,000 miles on it when I got it. I bought it because I wanted something that was good in snow as my sedan is not, and the Jeep Is great in snow. The Jeep was in nice condition (still is) and clean and Brian was up front with me when I bought it, very fair with the price, and he also said this Jeep is easy to work on, so hint, it probably needed some work. I feel I got a good deal on this Jeep, I recently found an honest and good mechanic who told me this Jeep was in nice shape. I Always check back with Cool Rides on their website as their prices are fair and I had a good experience with them. read more

We've bought four cars from Cool Rides, 3 Toyotas and 1 Volvo. The Toyotas were fine, but Toyotas usually are. The Volvo was another story. We've had it for three months and have put $1850 in repairs on it already. Granted, it had 170,000 miles on it, but still. The least they could have done was put in a new battery and do a tune-up. We've had to replace the battery, spark plugs, ignition, and air flow sensor. Just be sure you have a mechanic check any used car you are thinking of buying, but I guess that goes for any place. read more

I can say with complete confidence that this place doesn't even deserve the 1 star that I'm forced to give them. If anyone is considering buying from these guys, PLEASE read this, and be aware of what suffering you might have to go through as well. I met with Keith in late February and bought a Mazda 3 from them as was told they checked it for all major issues. I asked about the engine and transmission and all that and I was assured their mechanics looked at everything thoroughly, fixed all the major issues, and that the car was in great shape. He also assured me he was honest unlike the other car dealerships that just want a quick buck, that he doesn't sell any cars he wouldn't want his own kids to drive in, and that he cares about his reputation. And I foolishly believed that. Not even a month later after I get the car, it starts jerking violently when I start it up. I don't know much about cars so I assumed since it was winter/cold out it just meant the car needed more time to warm up. But then the car started staying between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm and would shoot up quickly and overwork any time I tried to drive over 30 mph- it struggled to even get to 45. Since the issue got worse I took it to a shop to have it looked at. Come to find out the transmission is running 200 degrees to hot, isn't working anymore, and needs to be replaced. So I spoke with Keith and told him everything and mentioned how I was told the car was fine and I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, but of course, I was just met with excuses like "well you never know with a used car" "sorry we don't legally have to help". And maybe thats true, but its downright horrifying that Cool Rides couldn't care less about screwing over young people. Now I'm in the hole and have taken it to other shops for second opinions and have found out that also the engine is no good and needs to be replaced because its rapidly burning my oil. I got an oil change and not even a month later the oil had all burned out. So I'm looking at $7,000-$10,000 in repairs for a car I only owe not even $5,000 on. I'm 23. I don't have that kind of money lying around- I can barely make ends meet and Cool Rides single handedly turned my life into a nightmare. Just keep that in mind before you shop here. You might end up with a great car.. or you might end up with crap car that's undrivable only a few months after getting it, a massive hole of debt that you'll be stuck in for years, and a salesman that couldn't care less about being incredibly dishonest and irresponsible. read more
