I can promise you, I have tried most all the local salons in Addison and a few in Frisco but I kept getting someone that could not figure out what we were both looking for until Mis J made my day. She has been there for 6 yrs and is the chick in charge of the cool heads hip place. 5'o'clock happy hour starts in her chair with the nice touch of offering you a drink while sitting in the most comfortable barber chair period ! I would not recommend this salon and especially Lisa C. My boyfriend and I came in after he scheduled a haircut earlier today. Lisa was sitting behind the counter when we got there and I instantly felt her energy was off when she "greeted" us at the door. She seemed angry and was extremely unfriendly, barely acknowledged us or the reference picture he was trying to show her that he shows every stylist when getting his haircut. After a few minutes I look up from my phone in shock that she is buzzing his hair off. That was not at all what the reference picture looked like, and I asked him if that's what he asked for and he said no. She argued that he asked for the wrong thing. It's not the customer's job to know specific hair terms and jargon, it is up to the stylist to clarify if there seems to be something off or misunderstood and pay attention to reference pictures above all. While checking out, another employee was screaming across the salon in anger about the previous customer. Lots of weird anger and unprofessionalism all around today. The service there is great and Joliet's is a great stylist but trying to make appointments there makes you want to bang you head against a brick wall. There system needs help! I watched it change an appointment day with my own eyes. PLEASE have someone upgrade the scheduling system!!! read more

I scheduled an online appt for my son and received a confirmation. We waited for 10 minutes before the hair stylist asked me to come back later. Someone had called in and they could no longer fit us in. They did not give me an option to wait and prioritized the other appts. read more

I took my 10 yr old son in for a walk in appointment and Joletta helped us right away! They have a booster seat for younger clients and very very nice leather chairs. They also have several TVs at each station. Joletta did a great job and she was very friendly. My son's haircut was $20 which is the same amount I would pay at Sharkeys and Snip It's. After being botchered mamy times at other chain haircutnplaces, we finally found our barber shop. Had a great experience returning to this cool barber shop. Ana is amazing, she listened to my son's requests and gave him the exact haircut he chose from the photos. Remembered him the second time and of course awesome hairdo is back! My sonhas pritty thick hair and Ana definitely knew how to work with it for proper outcome. Will only be back to see her at the Frisco location. read more

I just moved to Texas a few months ago and have been trying to find a new hair stylist. I hit the jackpot with Seyla at Cool Heads. She asked me how I wanted my hair cut, and then gave me the best cut that I've had in years. Seyla is very personable and really fun to talk to. Cool Heads is a little gem in Frisco that provides great haircuts at a reasonable price. I got a better haircut here than at places that charge 30% to 50% more. The salon is very nice and clean. I thought that I may have to go to 2 or 3 different stylist to find one that I really liked, well I got lucky in finding Seyla at Cool Heads. This is where I will be going for my hair cuts. If I could give Cool Heads Salon and Seyla 10 stars I would. I highly recommend Seyla and Cool Heads! read more
