    Bruschetta baked wrap
    Tony P.

Someone I've been chatting with for a romantic relationship was going to be in my area and asked me if I wanted to grab something to eat or meet up and she picked this place. iIt was kind of early for me, but I said what the hell even though I had already eaten. I really like the place a lot. I didn't realize there would be so many food options. At first it seemed like a coffee house with dessert and all kinds of breakfast snacks. It turns out they're open until eight at night so they serve dinner too. We talked for a while, and she ordered a cappuccino and I ordered the vanilla caramel drizzle latte. It was good, but it was a little cool, a lot of whipped cream in there. I prefer it much hotter, I will ask the barista next time. We decided to get something to eat and she had a salad with a scoop of chicken salad in it, she seemed to enjoy it and took some home. It also came with pasta salad on the side. I had a baked wrap called Bruschetta, which was basically grilled chicken with mozzarella and bruschetta inside and it came with a choice of sides, but I chose pasta salad. It was absolutely delicious. The pasta salad was a type of pasta I like, it had the right amount of flavor and dressing. I ate half of the wrap and salad and took the rest home. I ate the rest for dinner, and it was just as good heated up in the microwave as it was fresh. The wrap was very flaky and light, absolutely delicious. I'm not sure it was a tortilla. Can't wait to go back to this place. It has very cool decor and they seem to do very good business. I thought it was a chain but it turns out it's a one and done and he's been in business for a long time and I hope he stays in business for as long as he wants. Our server was good. It was a young man and he got very busy. We were there for a little while talking, but he was quite helpful. I might be back before the week is out! It was very quiet on a Sunday 8/24 but my ex came with me here for burgers. We heard they were good. They were great! Charbroiled, cooked to bloody perfection, thick and juicy. The bun sturdy yet soft. Can't wait to eat here again!

Great coffee and the food is great for the price. Love the vibes with the artwork and my waiter was upbeat and pleasant. Definitely returning.

Before being met by a mouth-watering Chicken Bruschetta Wrap, and a Yin & Yang (dark and white chocolate) Latte from their espresso candy menu, I was refreshingly greeted by warm and friendly service found in Valerie and Oscar, something sorely needed in a post-covid service world. So, if yourself in Toms River, NJ, and you're looking for a spot that really checks all the boxes, is daytime casual yet effortlessly swaggy, look no further than this artist-dressed atmosphere while you devour any part of a five-star menu. Stay kool, Cool Beans. You earned the title.

Chicken bruschetta wrap, Siciliano pasta salad

My coworkers order from here a lot because they have good lunches and also deliver to our office. I got in on their delivery this time. I ordered the Bruschetta Chicken Wrap with the pasta salad. It was actually much better than I was expecting. The wrap was not made with a cold tortilla but instead was made more like a chimichanga. The inside had a good flavor. The pasta salad was made Siciliano style, which I like. 4 Stars instead of 5 because sometimes I just want a traditional coffee house that focuses on coffee. It's really not as advertised; it's more like a lunch cafe instead.

Interior seating is booths along one wall that can sit four comfortably, and 2-4 top table and chair seating for rest of area. Restroom is available, but not very ADA and small child friendly. Zoe took care of us. The food and drinks were good. We enjoyed the gluten-free peach French toast, a grilled chicken wrap with fries, a pistachio chai tea, a colada cooler. Food was displayed on plate wonderfully. Portions are ample. All tasted fresh and delicious. Definitely would order from and dine in here again. 9/10

Good: waitress, steak, potato's, pork roll, pancakes, coffee, music…read more Reason we wouldn't return: there are only 10 tables in here. The hostess has this look of doom on her face every time someone comes in. Table of 3. Doom. Table of 4. Doom. Table for 2 and a car seat. Super DOOM. Can you move us. Doom. She looks like she's looking across the Cheesecake Factory for a table. And I'm looking like is there another restaurant in the back? Nope. Just doom. We were waiting for a table no big deal. I'm not an instant gratification person. I'll wait an hour for a good place. And they tried to accommodate us by sitting us at a bistro table for 2. I'm like no we'll wait and they're like everyone just sat down you're gonna have to wait a long time and my husband was like OK. This is fine so I just went along with that. First thing you need to fix that table it is wobbly flip it over grab a screwdriver and make it not wobbly. Second take those tables unless you were ordered by a fire marshal to only have that size throw them in the garbage and put four regular tables there. Not round. Not itty-bitty. Four tables for four people it would certainly alleviate the face of doom. No one might wonder God why are you going on and on about the tables well for three people three breakfasts I waited for my food for over an hour so I paid attention to every thing that was around me in the itty-bitty teeny tiny restaurant. The bacon was mushy. I don't know if it was raw, but it was mushy. The parts that were cooked to my liking were really good, but I didn't want to eat it because I just kept thinking is this raw? My last little issue is all the little charges on the bill. I don't expect food to be cheap. I don't expect breakfast to be cheap either. I am realistic. I know that when I go out to eat likely I'm spending a minimum of $100. One of the meals we ordered was steak and eggs so I definitely knew we were spending over $100. However. Charging $.20 for cream for coffee is such a stupid business decision. That stuff gets you one star reviews, and makes old people really mad. Work it into the price of the coffee. The girl asked me what kind of toast I wanted, pumpernickel, some sort of grain bread or I can't remember what the third one was. Why are you charging me for toast? It's supposed to come with my food. Was the pumpernickel toast more money? Why didn't you say that? Why do I have to scour the menu for all these little hidden charges? It's stupid you need to fix that. Overall, I think the place is good, but it certainly needs some tweaking the people running around the dining room with the exception of the girl who is our waitress with the braids just looks lost. Some people got an explanation of the menu. Some people didn't some people look like they come there 100 times a month. And I'm sure there's a reason for that. The food wasn't bad but for a first time it was also my last time cause I don't mind spending $100 on food and sitting down to eat, but it needs to be better then just good and it missed the mark. But for the love of god get rid of those stupid small middle tables they're not even big enough for 2 people. I do wish you nothing but success though. Change the tables and retrain doom face and I'll make it 5 stars.

Not only does the food taste truthfully out of this world, but you will also find that the service is incredible! From the moment you walk inside, you are met with a ton of friendly faces who without a doubt will treat you just like family. They are incredibly kind people who put hard effort into making sure that each meal is prepared with care, and that each person feels safe and comfortable under their roof. I must also comment that I myself am a very picky eater with odd sensory difficulties. It is typically very difficult for me to find many foods or meals that I feel are safe to eat, and that don't trigger any sort of reluctance. However at Thymes, they offer a wide variety of different meals and desserts, so locating something that I felt was both appetizing and safe to eat was no problem at all. I've been a proud frequent flier for the past 3 years, and without a doubt intend to keep going back as much as possible before I go off to college next year. To say that I will genuinely miss Thymes and more so the generous souls that have always been there for me is an understatement. More than five stars if I could. Keep up the amazing work.
