Location is great!! We have gotten lucky to park on the street and just mosey on in. The options of cookies have been awesome, both times we have been here!! This last time we came, we ordered Snickers, Hostess Apple Pie, Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chunk & Chewy Granola Bar!! We pretty much devoured them all!! I can't pick a favorite because those 3 were all mine, Chewy Granola Bar, Caramel Pretzel chocolate chunk & Snickers were just me. If I go back, I'm ordering 2 of those & who know what others. How have I not reviewed Cookie Good yet? These cookies are excellent and they have the best gluten-free cookies around! FIVE stars. They have a bit of a gluten-free variety and if you call in advance, they will put whichever ones you'd like aside for you. Seriously, it's hard to tell they're gluten-free. I used to eat the regular ones and those are excellent too. I'd tell you which gluten-free and regular cookies I like best but real talk, I haven't had one there that I haven't really liked. Rule of thumb for me, if it looks good and has the things you usually like, you'll probably like the cookie. Street parking is metered. That can be tricky but park around the corner and walk (still metered but usually a better chance at finding a spot). It's out of my way and I need to be in Santa Monica to stop by but when I am, it's worth it. They people who work at Cookie Good have always been nice and helpful. Ayo! Stumbled upon this cool lil cookie shop in SM. It did not disappoint and I will be coming back FoSho. I like how the cookies are smaller than the Big Cookie trend that's going on so that can taste more of their creative flavors. Also lower pricing point per cookie as well. My Fav is $100k Cookie. That thing was amazing, i was only supposed to take a bite cause i had 3 other flavors to try but Nope couldn't do it, i ate the whole thing. SIX STARS This might be the best cookie shop on Yelp. In this shop lies a very dangerous potential for addiction as they switch up their flavors every couple weeks. Luckily, the delectable flavors available on the day that I went will continue to be available through the month for the holidays. They are too good to miss out on. I was blown away by the level of specific flavor packed into each cookie and can't imagine what other flavors they will have in store. The service was so patient, kind, and friendly. I did not feel rushed at all and she even allowed me to sample a few flavors. The Cheeto flavor is available all year so I didn't try it. I didn't taste a single flavor that I didn't love. Despite the fact that there is no seating, the interior of the shop is still very cute and clean. The Yule Log features so much depth of flavor. The peppermint was subtle and I loved the crunch of the sprinkles on top. The captain crunch berry cookie was delicious and the jolly holiday was to die for. I found Cookie Good through Gold Belly, but when I realized they were local to LA, I contacted the shop directly about a last minute order for my company as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month. They were able to help me very quickly and easily for a same-day order + delivery. Everyone I spoke with (including the delivery service) was so helpful and nice, and the cookies turned out amazing. The alternative companies I looked into charged way more for decorated sugar cookies, but the cookies from Cookie Good came in a large variety (that could have been customized to fit my needs) and included a donation to breast cancer research. Stopped here after my Mom's eye appointment at UCLA. Holy smokes it was good! Even though we were eating cookie flavors like s'mores, Maple bar, and pie cakie, I liked that they did not taste overly sweet or "cloying." Great word, cloying. Fun to say. Anyways, we loved everything we had except for the Pie Cakie. That one, I just had higher hopes for because of how amazing the description sounded (a pumpkin pie stuffed inside a chocolate cake stuffed inside a brown-butter cookie). I thought it was going to blow my mind and...it was just OK. The big winners were the S'mores, caramel-pretzel-chocolate chunk and the apple pie. The cookie dough brownie was also an honorable mention, not too sweet, and that type of thing could have definitely been way too rich to eat in one sitting. I really just want to come back and say "Give me one of everything, PLEASE!!!" because all the names look so unique and tempting. Who the hell tried the Cheeto flavor??? I'm dying to know how that one tastes. To chicken to order it though. For now, I just keep spacing out my order down to 4 cookie flavors at a time each time my Mom has an eye appointment. One of my co-workers was kind enough to bring a box of cookies in. I was lucky enough to sample four. I tried chocolate chip (delicious, perfect!), churro (nice, tastes like a Snickerdoodle), Cap'n Crunch's sprinkled donut crunch (too sweet for me, but probably most would like it), and rainbow sprinkle blondie (loved it, nice and moist, slight lemony flavor). I think a box of these would make a great gift, look at that presentation, I just love it! This is an update to my previous review. The owner responded to my initial review here on Yelp within a day, then we continued communication via email. Ross apologized for the underbaked cookies I received and offered a new dozen. He also let me choose a new assortment The new batch was much better and the cookies were not underbaked. They also sent a bonus, which is their Cookie Corn. It's like churro flavored popcorn and it is oh so good! I really appreciate their attentiveness to resolve the issue. Most businesses brush off reviews from disappointed customers. This makes Cookie Good stand out. I was never going to stop patronizing Cookie Good. Before Ross responded, I looked at the experience as a one off and decided that I would just order as a walk in, moving forward. But Ross and his team's efforts to provide a better experience makes me more confident in ordering another dozen for delivery.
