Discovery Cove is such a beautiful venue. I literally could have stayed there all day. It's so scenic with the rivers, waterfalls, beach, winding pathways and the serene sounds of wildlife! I absolutely loved it. Upon entry we were greeted by staff members and checked in and given a badge to indicate to staff within the park that we were attending Paradise Nights. Once check in was complete, our first op was awaiting us in the lobby accompanied by a self serve wall of rum punch. Dinner was a staff served all you can eat buffet. The food was surprisingly tasty. There was shrimp and grits, seafood paella Chicken paella, chicken asada, grilled churrasco steak with chimichurri, maduros, yucca fries. There was a prepared salad and water already placed at your assigned table. I did not eat the salad and as surprised that salad was even being served with the current health issue related to various fresh produce. I saw a lot of people not even touching their salads. Beverages were included like soft drinks, tea, lemonade, etc. Dessert included 3 options pineapple upside down cake, tres leche, and jumbo chocolate cupcake. I had the chocolate cupcakes it wasn't that sweet and was just ok. I really enjoyed my meal it was warm and tasty. All parties were sat with their perspective guests so it was nice to have your own table for just you and whoever you came with. Each table had a waiter/waitress that refilled our beverages, brought napkins and straws, cleared our plates, and cleaned our table. The show was nice and took place at sunset. The finale was the best part! The show was broken up into 3 segments kind of like beginning, middle, and end. It was an open and semi covered pavilion with 3 stages. The performances rotated among the 3 stages but were predominantly performing around the center stage. The show was based on the principles of earth, air, water, & fire. There was a drummer, dancers, and aerial performers. The finale was awesome there was an actual fire dancer. He juggled, twirled, tossed rolled over and jumped over fire sticks it was great! I really enjoyed my time and would definitely like to return to Discovery Cove to enjoy the park during the day.

We first started doing this in magical midway, but when that felt too rickety and unsafe, we started looking for other parks, and that's when we found fun spot! I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

There were restaurants, food vendors, candy shops, drink stands, and so much more. The atmosphere was lively, fun, and full of energy. It looked like the perfect place for families, couples, or anyone just looking to spend a few hours enjoying themselves. This is a short review because I didn't get the chance to experience everything Icon Park has to offer. However, based on my first impression alone, I can definitely say I'll be back. It was filled with excitement for both children and adults, and I'm looking forward to exploring it even more on my next visit.

All three of these together took up about two hours and then we were able to go to Cafe tu tu tango to get a bite to eat. This was a great half day experience while we were visiting Orlando. There was a parking garage and parking was super easy. By that time we left around 8:30 PM there were so many cars, but when we first got there at about 5 PM there were tons of spots. They do have parking spots you can pay for in the lower levels so it seems like if you're willing to pay there will always be parking. If you want free parking, you need to go earlier because this seems to be popular for nightlife. I always appreciate when there's so many attractions together that you can walk to. This place has quite a few restaurants, some shops and the attractions all in a contained area. It was very clean and when we came, there was a huge police presence, because apparently a couple weeks before there was hundreds of teenagers that descended to the area and fought. So the place was doing a really good job making sure that everything was safe. This is a place for both families and non-families alike.

I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. My only downside to Universal Studios is that some of the themes felt outdated or just aren't favorite characters of mine. At least this helped to decrease the temptation of spending money on apparel or merchandise.

The attention to detail was remarkable, and the music threading through the entire area kept the immersion intact as I moved from one section to the next. Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness is the ride to prioritize and the one that generates the most excitement in the land. I arrived at park open and went straight here, which was the right strategy as the wait times built quickly. Mario Kart is the other major attraction and delivers on the concept, with the Power Up Band integration adding a competitive layer that makes it more than just a passive ride experience. The Power Up Band is worth purchasing before entering the park if I want the full experience. It unlocks interactive elements and mini games scattered throughout the land that let me collect coins, hit question blocks, and track my score on the app. Without it I could still enjoy the rides and the theming, but a meaningful portion of what makes the land special is tied to having one. At around fifty dollars it is an added cost on top of an already expensive day, but for a Nintendo fan it justifies itself quickly. Unfortunately - Laser Tag not operating - the primary attraction we came for. Unfortunately, only one of two "Wonder Coaster" Simulators were operating (with only two kids going for each turn). Being annoyed, I timed the pace of the line. It took 3 minutes 40 seconds for the operator to get two kids weighed, strapped in, and the simulator started. Total time from weighing one group to the next was 7 minutes, 34 seconds ... ... again, that's for only two kids. Extrapolate that - only 16 kids get on each hour. Unfortunately, we went back to do the Ropes Course a second time, but it was either closed or not staffed.
