This is absolutely the worst Cookout I've ever been to. For one it's an eat in Cookout, but it's not because they've had the dining room closed for years. And it's sloooow! Got 4 meals for under $35!!!! Absolutely delicious and such amazing customer service. Went for lunch time on a weekday. The dining area was closed so we had to order at the window. The wait was only about 5 minutes or so. After we all ordered, we waited another 10 or so minutes. We decided to dine outside at one of the tables and enjoy the sunny weather. This location is not serving inside - drive through and pickup window available. The line moves fairly quickly. The team member is courteous and mindful at the order is correct. This location is conveniently situated close to a major interstate- other routes & customer shopping center & shopping experiences. This is likely the worst Cook Out we've ever visited. Going through the drive through got us our food relatively quick. No more than 5 minutes, however, the order was wrong. After going to the walk up window to rectify getting onions on two burgers we asked for no onions on, we waited roughly 25 minutes.... actually I'm going to assume 25 minutes since that's how long we have been sitting here waiting for our corrected order in 92 degree heat. I stopped at this Cookout during lunchtime to pick up something quick on my drive to Durham. When I drove up to the store I noticed that it was very busy which I love doing because you usually get fresh food when fast food restaurants are busy. So, I went through the drive-thru and start to finish it took about 20 minutes to order, pay, and receive my food. I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich, french fries, chicken ranch wrap, and a shake. The french fries were hot and crispy, the shake was cold and creamy, and I saved the chicken wrap for later. But when I opened my Cajun chicken sandwich I was so disappointed. The chicken breast was almost completely flat and looked like it was cut from a starving chicken. It was so very thin and crispy around the edges. Since I was already down the road, I decided not to go back to exchange it. I've eaten the Cajun chicken sandwich at many other cookouts in the past and never received such a skinny chicken breast on my sandwich. Ok, I admit I didn't eat here but that's only because when I walked into the rest room it was absolutely filthy and had the smell of week old urine. The floor was so sticky I wanted to have the bottom of my shoes scrubbed. When I walked out the goo on the floor seemed to follow me from the restroom to line you stand in to place your order. In fact the only interruption of adherent goo was an area where a large wet spill of Lord Knows What was on the floor. Regardless, that was enough for me! Time to hit the road. Stopped on my way through town while traveling. The drive thru was quick to take my order. However, the girl at the drive thru gave me a drink that had spilled coke all over the top and around the cup. She handed the bag and I noticed that there were no napkins so we asked for some. After looking at us like we had overstayed our drive thru window welcome, She slowly handed over two napkins..two! What is going on in the world when you think two napkins is going to fix your sloppy drink-filling job and be able to handle the mess that comes along with chili cheese burgers? These things aren't bounty sheets, folks. We had to go over to Subway to get napkins to finish cleaning up the cup and so we could eat. I mean, cook out burgers should never be attempted without napkins. That's standard knowledge. My boyfriend opened up his wrapped burger and there was some sort of white milky watery stuff all over the top of the burger. No idea what it was, but it was gross and the burger ended up in the trash. We had to make a second dinner stop. I'll make it a point to avoid this exit the next time I am driving through. My friend and I were roadtripping back home to NC from Maryland and we were so happy to find a SIT-DOWN COOKOUT! Having only ever been to drive-through cookouts, our minds were blown when we drove up and saw we could actually go inside. The location is small, but clean. Ordering was quick--I got my usual milkshake: chocolate oreo mint and my friend got a tray and a peanut butter banana reese's milkshake. I have never felt the need to review until now. Terrible customer experience. My husband and I were barked at when we reached the order box and you could feel the impatience coming through the speaker. We rushed through ordering and forgot a quesadilla for my daughter. When we reached the window we were told we would have to go back through the line to reorder. Not actually told SNAPPED at.
