It's an affordable option for families with lots of kids. Suggestions: 1. Lower the menu sign by 12". It's tough to read the entire menu while standing in line. 2. Consider delivering food orders through the door that opens to the kitchen. This would provide much greater efficiency and streamline the food delivery process. On each of my visits, there is always a crowd of people ordering and then waiting to pick up orders. When each order is called, you have to fight your way back through the crowd to get your food. Had a great experience here. This is the second time I've been to a Cook Out (my first was at the also-pretty-new Highland location), and I enjoyed my food this time much more. It was really crowded, but they got our food to us in no time flat. Our milkshakes were thick and delicious (I got chocolate cherry; he got chocolate), our Cook Out Trays were packed in well and everything was correct. The only small complaint I had has to do with Cook Out more than this location -- the honey mustard on the honey mustard chicken wrap is sooo watery. I couldn't even tell it was on there until I got to the very bottom, where it had all run down. Otherwise, great experience, and so happy we got two people out of there totally full for less than $15. read more

Ate here tonight with a party of 10. Though the cashier got our orders right, identifying each order that was packed in a white to go box was non existent. In fact every single white box that came out didn't have any identifying marks to indicate what order was inside. A $5 pack of sharpies would have worked wonders for every single white box that came out with some code to identify what's inside. You can be sure that the shake will withstand the whole ride home and it will still be thick; so thick that you can hold your cup upside down and it won't drip. First time...and last time. Burgers were not edible. I ordered a double 'steak style', which was no different than the regular my friend ordered. No taste, no charred flavor, just plain old bland. My friend ate two bites and declared "I'm done." French fries were the only saving grace for both of us. Hush puppies tasted frost-bitten, and onion rings (I was served 4 small rings, he was served 3) were too greasy to eat. Brought burgers home for my 4 lb dog, and she took only a couple of bites.
