We come here alot as a family! They almost always mess up our order but are good about getting it fixed... But today as we order the guy who was taking it was rude and would say the order back wrong so we said no it's this and he you kept interrupting us... Then we finally said really?! And he said "yea what else do you want!?" So we just said "no thanks we are going else where" he said "whatever!" So sadly we won't be ordering from this place again! read more

Food made myself and my grandson very ill. Sad part is I've heard this serval times before. Should ha e just stayed away.

I'm on vacation and ordered 2 corn dogs and a mint chocolate chip milkshake. They have GREAT tasting food for a cheap price. They've got i think 40 different milkshake flavors and great customer service. read more

This place is discussing on so many levels. The staff is rude and unhygienic. My family and I have seen some gross things the staff has done and no one seems to care. They will pick their nose run their hands through their greasy hair and try to hand you a cup they have put their fingers in. My little brother and I have gotten several hamburgers that weren't even fully cooked all the way. I have had eaten a BBQ sandwich from here and threw it up an hour later. The staff that work at the register is rude and huffy like you're wasting their time when you are trying to order your food. I have avoided this place all together. read more

Continually I am getting rude staff. No straws or napkins in the drive thru. And when I waited to ask for it she pushed the window to ensure it was locked and walked away. What happened to customer service. read more

I like there food wish that they didn't hire so many kids. hotdogs need relish and tea is awesome. the gay guy was really nice. I never see a Manger read more

I can from all the way out of town with my best buddies. My friend suggested the place so I stopped by. The worst service I've ever experienced. Food took so long and when it came it wasn't what I ordered. I tried to hold my cool but when they got it wrong again I flipped. I don't suggest this place to eat because they are unprofessional. I would say this was by far the worst service I've ever experienced. I would love to see cookout do better because I'm so disappointed. read more

Good food but meh service they just go hello what can I get you and don't even speak half the time when you pull up to the window

Worst Cook Out I've ever been too. Service is terrible and slow. Never get your order right. You can't even understand what they are saying to you through the speaker. It's like they don't even care. read more

Good, reasonable, variety! $4.39 combos... tons of choices as well as add ons! Wish wbbje had these in Atlanta! Cheaper and WAY BETTER than big chains. read more

Service was completely trash, food tasted like shit, they got my order wrong twice an onetime when I took it back the just scraped off what was wrong and sloped the new on it and left what they racked off in my tray read more

First time ever eating at a cook out. And it will be the last. You would think if you order 5 items you would get them. But no. Only got 3. Didn't realize it until I was about 10 miles away. Lesson learned! read more

The person on my drive thought was rude and talking to his friends and I could hear the other drive though and she was yelling at the customer. Then I pulled up and he said back up in the drive though. Note if I back up is around the corner we're cars pull out of the other line because he forgot the customs drink in front of me and wan I got to get my food he did not say sorry or thank you just I have a hard job I can't take it...... read more

The cook out style burger was very taste BUT if it was a 1/3 lb burger someone's ass was on the scale when they weighted it

Really disappointed in service or lack there of at this location sat in line for over 20 minutes after being told rudely on the speaker that the cashier had to go make milkshakes then when I get to the window the cashier proceeds to take his time even going as far as eating a milkshake that he had no doubt taken the time to make himself while I was having to wait only once he realized I was writing a review did he start providing adequate service I understand that you are busy but there's a time to eat and a time to work read more

Sorry folks but my first visit to cookout may be my last. Both the hamburger and the grilled chicken we ordered had a very lighter fluid / chemical taste. It was completely unappetizing! The sides of onions rings, fries and hush puppies were fairly good. The cheerwine float was pretty good also. However with these positives, the main burgers and sandwiches were just that bad. I will try cook out sometime again but no time soon nor in Gaffney. If that chemical taste was their attempt to duplicate a smokey flavor, they are sorely mistaken. read more

Very impressive, genuine outdoor grill taste. The burgers here are definitely unique in that way. You would think they have a camp fire going in the kitchen. read more

We stopped here while on a long distance trip. Found out after we were back on I-85 that they didn't give us all of the burger toppings for which we paid. The Hershey's chocolate shake was okay. The fries were too salty and soggy. Wendy's quality for more expensive prices. Staff was friendly. read more

Passing through and heard this place was good, it's ok. I will not be driving out of my way to eat here again. When ordering I could barely hear the girl behind the counter, she offered no help whatsoever after I stated we had never been, I ordered them she repeated it but, still managed to forget my food. I reordered but, my ordered lacked. I had the cheddar burger and it came with no cheddar. Not impressed. read more

Good hush puppies. BBQ nothing to write home about... Happy they were open Easter evening.

Food is awesome and management was super friendly definitely coming back. The hush puppies are to die for.

I use to love to eat here but now, no. Then I looked around and noticed it was crumbs all over the floor  and not just at my table but it all of the tables and Boots Can't give lower than 1 star. The Cook Out in Gaffney, SC was filthy & there was a long blonde hair in my food. I went to the Cook Out at 10:48am today so they had only been open for almost 20 minutes and the place was nasty. My friend had went straight to the counter to order our food so I went to get the condiments & napkins & to get a table. First off every knife & fork I touched was sticky ( they are individually wrapped). Then I went to a table which was sticky and crumbs covered most of the table. Then I looked around andnoticed that there was crumbs all over the floor and not just my table but at all of the tables and booths in the restaurant. I went and wet some napkins and wash the table and when my friend got back with the food told her that the table was nasty so she wentto the manager because I said I didn't want to have to wash the table and my chair by the way and still pay for my own food. If I wanted to do that I would cook and clean at home. The manager was the one cooking the foodso she never came and talked to us at all alsowe did ask the girl who came out with a rag and a bottle of spray to wash the table sheblow hard and rolled her eyes but she washedit. I was ready get to get my money back andjust leave but my friend said go ahead and stay we're already here so I open my food andthere was a long blonde hair in it. Now I'm donot have long blonde hair I have just a littlelonger than a buzz cut and so does my friend so it definitely was not our hair. Took the plateback to the front told the manager about it she turned around and blame someone elseand the other person yelled at the manager it'snot mine and we said forget it we're leaving so they fix another plate and the manager saidI'm sorry and that was it we just grab the platechecked it out to make sure there was no hairin it this time and just left. By then we were sofed up so hungry and tired that we both just said forget it that they're definitely getting a bad review and I'm done with them because now I just want to go home. We have never had a problem at a cookout and people inGaffney know how nasty KFC is here and cookout was as bad as KFC today. They were filthy and I am definitely calling the home office. I have always raved about cookout I take my grandkids there for milkshakes and everything during the summer but they were so disappointing today. I have worked for several years in the restaurant industry so I know that the night shift did not do theircleaning before they left but the morning shift did not do any of it when they came in and then the manager and everyone else there was hateful and rude and blamed me for itthey acted like it was my fault that I shouldn'thave come in there cuz they wasn't ready well you shouldn't put the open sign up if you're not read more

This place is a hit or miss for me. I always get a cheese quesadilla tray with absolutely NO chicken or meat at all for that matter. There has been plenty of times when I've been satisfied with my meal being correct, but even more times when I got home and it was incorrect. I will not be going back. & if I do, it'll be a long time from now. read more

Friendly service, a little slow at times and sometimes the order is wrong, but food always tastes great!

This is probably one of the worst places I've ever been to eat. The menu is huge and has too many things to choose from.. it may be cheap but you might expect a greasy cheeseburger or greasy food. The outside looks nice but as soon as though get inside that's a whole different story. The floors had water or some kind of fluid on the floor that made it extremely slippery. And we had asked an employee to mop it but they just completely ignored us and went in to the back. When we sat on the booths they sounded like they were going to break and had rust and gum all over the tables, chairs and booths. When we sat down the tables were sticky and weren't cleaned. The workers didn't know their own menu. Lastly they just messed up all of our orders. And when my aunt was asking about the menu the workers just gave her dirty looks and were disrespectful. Do not come here if you don't want a greasy mess and a terrible dinner or lunch. read more

We stopped here for a milkshake as we were passing through. We ordered 3 milkshakes with 2 of them being wrong. We went inside to tell them that we ordered 2 Carmel milkshakes and the girl working was extremely rude and then preceded to overload the shake with caramel therefore we were unable to drink them at all. read more

this place ruined all cookouts for me, the service was very poor. took 20 mins sitting at table waiting for our order. when everything finally came out, the chicken was cold and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp and the milkshakes which are normally fantastic were very disappointing. won't go back to cook out anymore read more

Burger was unseasoned and full of gristle. Condiments on it were fresh however - crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, etc. Tea tasted like the pot is overdue for a cleaning. Fries were pretty good. OK in a pinch but frankly, no better than most national chains. read more

I love Cookout, but will never ever come back to this one. The drink machine was broken, and the only beverages they had available were tea and water. To make matters worse, my order was horribly wrong! Ordered a BBQ sandwich, chili, and onion rings, but received a burger with lettuce and tomatoes, coleslaw, and onion rings. WTF. Terrible experience :( read more

So, overall the food was good. The service on the other hand......terrible. The order was completely incorrect. My father asked the cashier to check the boxes before he left and he stated "no, they are right. They are in order." Needless to say, the order was incorrect. No cheese on the cheeseburger, no hotdog (which was ordered and paid for), the BBQ plate was incorrect, and the tea was unsweetened (ordered sweetened). The cashier couldn't care less about his job. All he did was complain about working all night and having to come in the next day! Horrible service!!! read more

This place is a must try! Signs do not look appealing, but after several recommendations we gave it a shot. Great menu for both kids and grown ups, extremely inexpensive and polite, clean, helpful staff. What more could you want? Oh yeah the food: Delicious! I'm addicted to the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and the fries are top notch. Did I mention they have peanut butter shakes? read more

Drink machine broken, unsweet tea in the sweet tea container, no toilet paper in the men's restroom and the food was over cooked.

Disappointed that I paid for food I did not receive. Discovered after I left because it was carry out. Will make a point to go elsewhere next time. There are plenty of choices at Exit 92 on I85 SC. read more
