On our way home today from our Spartanburg S.C. adventure we decided to stop here. We wanted to get a cold fountain drink and just otherwise look around. I decided to do something that I rarely do. I bought two Mega Millions tickets. I know that it's basically throwing away 6.00 dollars but the billion dollar jackpot was more than enough temptation! This is a super busy QuikTrip! These store associates do a tremendous job of keeping the store shelves stocked under these conditions! To date; I've never had a truly bad experience at any QuikTrip location!

Love QT's Fountain Drinks. However, the Men's restrooms were filthy today. I stopped at 2 locations within 1.5 hours (between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm). They both looked the same. There should be someone checking every hour. The trash was so high that no one had probably checked in 4 hours. The floors were horrible and smelled terrible. By paying attention to the restrooms, QT could be a trailblazer in their space. If this was a restaurant, I wouldn't buy any prepared food from these locations.

Exterior. Gas pumps. 18 total including diesel.

If it wasn't evident from my review of the five other QTs located along I-85 in South Carolina (http://www.yelp.com/list/south-carolina-i-85-corridor-duncan), I am a big fan of QuikTrip. I've made the trek between Atlanta and NC Triad over 100-150 times over the past 15 years. Over the last 3 or so years, these new QTs popping up along I-85 have been a much needed breath of fresh air. I've grown to like them so much that I have all their exit numbers saved on my phone so I know I'm covered on my trips on I-85 through the Palmetto State. At the time of writing this review, there are 6 QTs located along I-85 in South Carolina. I have been to them all. Their exit numbers, from south to north, are: Exit 21 - Anderson Exit 56 - Greer Exit 63 - Duncan Exit 75 - Boiling Springs Exit 78 - Spartanburg (this QT) Exit 90 - Gaffney They're all the same vintage: "Gen3" according to my friend and fellow Yelper Trevor W. They're big, bright, and clean with inexpensive gas (go SC!) and plentiful food and drink options, many cooked or prepared fresh, at affordable prices. There's free air for your tires too. The QTs are well staffed and the employees are uniformed, nicely trained, and polite. QT simply has a solid business model. This particular QT, located off Exit 78 in Spartanburg, is store #01129. It's got 18 pumps including diesel. Last weekend (Memorial Day weekend), I filled up on premium unleaded fuel for $2.65 per gallon. In comparison, I had filled up the day before at a QT in Marietta, Georgia for $2.93 per gallon - a 28 cents or 11% higher difference. I had a small snack, a hot dog and a bottle of water, for only $2.40. The hot dog was $1.49, the water (Nestle Pure Life, 0.5 liter bottle) was $0.79, and tax was $0.12 (5%). I like the roller grill with its fresh selection of hot dogs, corn dogs, sausages, and taquitos. I actually got a cheddar and jalapeno stuffed sausage. Yum. I like the variety of self-serve condiments and toppings which include bottled relish, celery salt, coleslaw, chopped onions, diced tomatoes, pico de gallo, pickle slices, sauerkraut, sliced jalapenos, and more. On this recent visit, I think the staff could have done a better job maintaining, cleaning, and turning over the condiments and toppings with fresher products, but overall it was still OK. The $1.49 hot dogs were popular and the roller grill and condiments/toppings counter looked like it'd seen a lot of traffic that day. Other tempting snacks and drinks include grab-and-go salads, sandwiches, and wraps, warm pizza by the slice, made-to-order coffee beverages and milkshakes, a multitude of frozen drinks/slushies, donuts and pastries, yogurt and granola, and more. Some of the stuff you can order at a kitchen in the back via touchscreen (all the newer QTs are set up this way). There's plenty of parking and limited patio seating outside.

Polite staff, quick food service, tasty pretzel and cheese. The restrooms could use a quick tidy but they were not disgusting.

This is QuikTrip store #1111. It's the only QT located on Business 85 in Spartanburg. Take exit 4…read moreto get there (4A if heading south, 4B or "4" if heading north). If you're heading north, you'll have to navigate a roundabout. This QT opened in November 2011. It's nice, but it's located in a not-so-nice neighborhood next to an old, shady motor lodge. It could be worse; there could be no QT. In general, I'm a fan of QT because this company has raised the standard for gas stations and convenience stores in Georgia and South Carolina. They've recently crept into North Carolina too, but North Carolina already had Sheetz. QTs are spacious and clean with competitive gas prices and made-to-order food and drink thanks to the in-house "QT Kitchens" brand. This store is in line with the others. We stopped here to get gas on our way from Atlanta to North Carolina. The gas prices were super cheap, one of the best things about South Carolina. The gas station has 20 pumps. I used pump #3. It was in good condition, but it was out of receipt paper. We went inside the store to use the restrooms (not spotless, but clean enough) and my fiancee purchased a hot dog for $1.59 plus tax. Like other convenience stores, QT has roller grills with warm hot dogs, taquitos, and more. My fiancee dressed the hot dog with ketchup, mustard, diced white onion, and relish. It was yummy. The store was well-stocked and looked to be in good order. There were lots of employees on-duty too. I'd return and probably will.

Very uncomfortable experience at this QuikTrip around 7 PM last night. I witnessed what appeared to…read morebe discriminatory treatment by an employee named Cailey. She demanded ID from three older Hispanic men even though only one of them was purchasing a beer. The other two were simply shopping. She claimed it was "store policy" to ID everyone in the group, but when another customer questioned her about it, she suddenly did not ask that person for ID. The men appeared well over 30-40 and looked like they had just gotten off work. Instead of completing their purchase, they quietly left the store. Watching them walk out because of how they were treated was upsetting. If this is the type of treatment customers receive at this location, I will not be returning.

The men's room needed attention with a floor that was covered in [let's hope it was] water and one of two sinks out of order. The parking lot and the rest of the store was clear of litter and quite clean. Maybe the water spill was recent? As is usual for QT, lots of drink and snack options including their made-to-order kitchen and the Freezoni slushy drinks. Inexpensive fuel and an outside seating area to enjoy your food. I was on my way out as an intercity but was stopping to unload. Convenient! [Review 256 of 2025 - 1275 in South Carolina - 23819 overall]

Our drink orders were taken promptly, and when the drinks arrived, they also took our food order -- smooth and attentive service from start to finish. We started with the buffalo chicken dip with pimento cheese and pita bread, which was outstanding. The pita was perfectly toasted on the outside while staying warm and soft on the inside -- absolutely delicious. For our meals, I ordered the Down South Chicken Sandwich, and my girlfriend chose the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Both were excellent. We cut them in half so we could try each other's, and honestly, I loved both. The flavors, freshness, and quality really stood out. I live in Greenville, and I would gladly make the 50-minute drive just to eat here again. Amazing food, friendly service, and a great overall experience. Highly recommend -- I'll definitely be back soon!

You'd be better off grabbing a box of Spinx chicken and a tall boy. As for the atmosphere--just a few neon lights trying (and failing) to distract from the fact that what they call "hot" is barely lukewarm. Update for the owners response: We ordered the Flocking Hot sauce on our sandwich. What we received was essentially the no-heat sauce with a few pepper flakes sprinkled in. We even asked for extra sauce, assuming there had been a mistake in reading the ticket--but the ramekin was the same: no heat, just pepper flakes. It was mild enough that my children dipped their nuggets in it. Rather than becoming defensive, it may be more productive to address and rectify the consistency and accuracy issues being pointed out.
