I placed an order through the app. When I got to the drive thru the lady had no clue how to process the order. Got to the pick up window & they handed me my drink with no ice. Said to pull up & will bring my order. An employee has a bag & a flurry in his hand. Asked if I had a flurry; I said no a fish sandwich meal. He then went to the car beside me & gave her the flurry & the bag. Sat there for another 20 minutes no food. The manager came out & said she had made my food but the employee have it to someone else. She tried to refund my money but since the order was processed in the system she couldn't give me my money back. She said she would get my food then another employee came out & asked if I still wanted my food & I said you told me you were getting it ready!!! I left with no food & 50 minutes wasted & they kept the money!! Update:. The GM called & apologized. He made this experience better just by calling & offering to replace the meal. So I will add 2 stars for his professionalism!!! read more

This place was clean yet the lack of customer service skills needs improving. I understand that there were only 2 people at the front, one doing drive thru and the other packing the orders. Understaffed and overworked can cause lack of customer service. read more

Worst location ever. Filthy, bathrooms were so gross, no TP, water in sink doesn't work and the dining room also dirty and freezing cold. Totally understaffed and our biscuits were rock hard. Nothing good or enjoyable at this location at all. Right off the freeway next to several other options for road trippers...pick one of those. Waste of time and money. read more

Never open 24 hrs!!!!!! Don't start serving breakfast until afther 6 am.... ..............,...........

got this plain quarter pounder with cheese for my dog and broke it up for her and it was raw! Went back inside, and the little girl at the counter said " we're not going to remake it for you". Told her I didn't want them to remake it I wanted to speak to a manager. Finally got one out there and she apologized and offered me some chicken nuggets. Told her I would never get anything from them again, but I would like my money back and she refused. Absolutely disgusting. I did call DHEC read more

McDonald's - This is a quarter pounder with cheese that I ordered and broke a part for my dog in the car. As you can see, it is RAW! - Fast Food Near Me - Spartanburg, South Carolina

If there was 0 star option I would choose that one. They made us wait forever and then messed up our order 3 different times

I had the worst experience going to this McDonald's. I am currently driving from Atlanta to Boston and have been on the road for about 5 hours, so I admit I am looking a bit disheveled. However, that doesn't give the staff that were there to make me feel unwelcome and as if I was doing things I shouldn't be doing in the bathroom. As previously mentioned, I have been on the the road for about 5 hours, and I desperately needed to use the restroom. Once I entered, I made a b-line to the bathroom. Maybe that looked suspicious??? But, can we act like a business and not pass judgements? Anyways, I went to the restroom and let the entrance door close behind me, because that's how bathrooms work, and when I left my stall I noticed that the main door was propped open. What made me feel even more uncomfortable was he fact that there were two men sitting not too far from the bathroom section. Not for nothing, but that's a huge invasion of privacy. I felt extremely exposed. The gender of the two people doesn't matter, they could have been two women. It's the principle and code of ethics that the employees in this establishment chose not to follow. When I went to make my order, the cashier at 9:36 am on September 12, 2018 (I didn't catch her name) had curly red and black hair gave me EXTREME attitude. Not only that, but it seemed as if the whole staff was up at the front watching me. Again, I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable and judged when I literally just needed to use the bathroom and grab some breakfast. Horrible business practices from this location. An employee training needs to be planned for the staff. read more

I went and ordered my food and then I went to the restroom while waiting for it. They had just mopped the bathroom and it was sopping wet. Went back to the counter to get my food, and I told the girl about all the water on the floor. She then walked back a little ways and told the manager. He was very loud and said it'll dry and she better not say that she fell. He continued being very loud about it, and I leaned over the counter and told fat boy that that was not good customer service that we could all hear him run in his big mouth. My food was ready so I got it and walked out. Would not recommend this McDonald's to anyone. read more

If I can give this location a zero I would. I stopped here on my way home to Charlotte. I took one bite and my burger tasted weird, I turned the light on and I took my burger apart and found this . This was Thursday night 12/23/2021. I immediately called and complained to the so called manager on duty and she took my name and number down and said she would give to the GM. Which is a complete lie because I have not heard anything back yet. They need to take accountability and I want my money back, I am glad I looked because I am pregnant and if I would've ate that raw burger I would've gotten sick. read more

I would have chosen NO stars if that was an option. This is the WORST Mcdonalds EVER!!!! Greasy and cold food. The employees are not there for more than a paycheck. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Asked several times to have the bathrooms cleaned because it was filled with poop and blood, but they kept ignoring the matter and continued doing other things. I waited 10 min and then asked the manager, but they said someone was inside (but it wasn't cause I was there), and the guy who was suppose to clean it said "I can't cause it's a woman's bathroom". We left because all the staff including the female staff were making excuses not to go in there. Terrible, disgusting read more

I am not sure what has happened to this McDonalds!!! The customer service has gone to pot and the ice cream machine has been out for at least 4 months. The food is sub-par even for McDonalds. I used to brag to others about how great our McD's WAS and they have fallen in line with the poor service and food of the other McDonalds. Take the shakes, McFlurries, etc off of your web page if you cannot afford the ice cream machine, PLEASE! read more

This McDonald's is located directly off I-85 exit 78 in South Carolina (US 221, Chesnee, Spartanburg). This is an old school McDonald's with worn-out tile flooring, a PlayPlace for the kiddies, and a small flat panel display playing Fox News. Huge parking lot. I made a pit stop here on Friday afternoon while traveling between Georgia and North Carolina. The restaurant was mostly empty save for one young family, a trucker, a blue-collar worker, and two McDonald's employees on break, eating McDonald's. One, a burger. The other, a wrap. I ordered one medium caramel frappe ($2.79) for the road. Tina took my order and made my frappe for me. It hit the spot. I enjoyed the coffee, caramel, and fine ice blend. The concoction was topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Since I was driving, I couldn't enjoy the frappe as I normally do. I usually need two hands -- one to hold the cup and the other to handle the straw (to mix and readjust). It was fine for the most part, though. Service was fast and I was in and out in a jiffy. Clean restrooms. read more

Hello friends, It was a cool brisk morning, en route back to the queen. I stopped by for my McDonald's usual.... Coffee. I'm used to my Dollar coffee.. well it was $1.58. Not to sound like a cheap bastered..but... I'm just used to $1.00. I still bought it no qualms about it but thought it was odd. (Found it odd? Yes, only because I've seen the dollar commercials..the only reason i go to McDonald's) It was about 30 employees "working"with only 2ppl in line. Weird. It could stand to use some cleaning, all around Windows, floors, countertops, near the trash. read more

My fiancé and I were just coming back from the Gaffney outlets from some daily shopping when we decided to stop by this establishment for a quick bite to eat on the way home. If I could give less than 1 Star I would. Food came out cold, sodas were all flat, felt like 32 degrees inside the building, staff had an attitude problem, and the fries tasted 3 days old. How do you mess up something as simple as fries? Will not be returning. read more

Had a terrible experience. Ordered two McGriddles and an iced coffee without flavoring. My coffee was wrong and had sugar in it but the girl made me a new one. Then we waited 10 minutes before they even acknowledged that we didn't have our food and while they talked about getting it done nobody actually did anything. The manager was standing right in front of us and wouldn't solve the problem. We ended up waiting 20 minutes before I asked to refund our order since our food was never going to come. What a waste of time. Worst experience I have ever had at any fast food establishment, especially McDonalds. read more

7:30am, January 12, 2019. It's Saturday morning so there's no reason for a line to form, but form it did. The thing at the first window was playing with its dyed mop of a hairdo instead of actually being at the pay window, trying to keep a line from forming instead of causing a line to form. It was literally standing about 10 ft. from the window, and it only slowly began to meander to me only after we made eye contact, like some sort of confused water buffalo. I had to leave, I couldn't just wait all morning for it to start earning its paycheck. This particular McDonald's in always slower than any other, but the cashier seemed to make it her point to not do her job. read more

This location along with the store in downtown chesnee are horrible. The staff are treated like crappie and it shows in their work. Service is slow. Orders are incorrect and food is prepared without gloves. I've waited for 20mins for 2 egg mcmuffins, in the lobby while they focus heavily on the driveway to make thier times look good. This is by far the worst service I've ever seen or experienced. There was a gentleman in line ahead of me who only ordered a coffee. It took them 5 minutes to make him his coffee. Then they proceeded to let me stand there without asking me my order for another 5 minutes. There was no one else in the store. Still messed up my order on top of that. Also they got an attitude with the gentleman getting the coffee. These people are inexperienced and rude. McDonald's needs to audit this location. Awful service all around read more

This is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. There where only 5 customers in the restaurant (I use that term loosely because a resultant serves u eatable food) I walk up to the counter and order a #12, #3, and a #1, I don't feel like that's a hard order to take, nothing special, didn't modify the order with like no pickles, or no onions. the girl that took our order comes up to us and tells us she didn't order the meal for the #1 witch I assumed ment she forgot the fries, nope she just left the entire #1 off my order... So I get my food and when I open the bag the fries have NO salt on them who doesn't put salt on fries? McDonalds ur lucky I didn't just came back through the drive through and thrown all the miss ordered, non salted, Luke warm food u just had me pay for. I know your fast food and I don't expect much from food u cook in 30sec. But damn. Well considering Chick-fil-a hires people that can understand that 3 people walking in would probably order 3 meals I think I'll just take my money to them. I would say that visit to McDonald's was top 5 of my worst service from fast food in my 32 years of eating there. McDonald's u need attentive employees that care...like chick-fil-a. And u guys wonder why other fast food restaurants are kicking yalls butt. read more
