So, here is my take on this location: the cashier, Ellen, was so sweet as we walked in the door; it was an immediate, "Welcome to Whataburger. How are ya?"
She asked all the standard questions, like what size and whether it was for here or to go, with a pleasant approach.
Plus, later she went around asking folks if everything was satisfactory and if we needed anything else.
My only suggestion is to slow down on the amount of mustard, but other than that, there was zero difference between this location and my fav back in Greenville on Pelham Road.
The food was fresh, fries were hot, restrooms were spotless, and, like I've said a million times, when the restrooms are trashed and visible to the customers, what does the kitchen area look like, or even the freezer?
Also, as I've mentioned before with my other Whataburger reviews, you can often tell who's had Whataburger before, meaning people who've had Whataburger know they don't put ketchup on their hamburgers unless you ask for it.
On a side note, I wish folks would stop with the "it's not In-N-Out Burger" argument; Whataburger pricing is comparable to Five Guys and Culver's, sitting between fast food and premium fast casual as a reachable upgrade and offering a wider variety of food options.
In-N-Out offers basic burger options (i.e., double cheeseburger, hamburger), fries, and three different flavored shakes, meaning you're not going to find specialty burgers like Whataburger's limited-time specialty burgers, Bacon Blaze Jalapeño burger, or Peach milkshakes.
