Absolutely loved this place. Original flavor combinations perfectly executed. When we were not simply enjoying the food we spent our time trying to identify the flavors and ingredients that set each dish apart. The scallops starter (irrer jakob) had a nice kick from the dash of homemade habanero sauce. The tuna was outstanding, a generous cut of fish on a bed of stir-fried root vegetables and wheat noodles topped with lightly sautéed local radish. Never have had anything like it. The 'devil in disguise' blended flavorful whitefish with a somewhat delicate curry. Service was attentive and very helpful give our inability to speak German. Wine was good and everything was quite reasonably priced. If you only eat one meal in Linz, it should be at Cook. read more
