They didn't arrive so in mid July I called Patternworks and was told they are on back order until mid August. I chose two other colors that I was told was in stock. Shortly after I received notice that one color was shipped. When I inquired about the second color I was told that it is on back order until mid August! I repeated my question, explaining what I needed with context so they could visualize what I was talking about, and was met with "never heard of it", "that doesn't exist", "we don't carry anything like that". I eventually found what I was looking for on my own, and when I cashed out I was met with snickers and eyerolls. "Ohhhhhhh, you meant [other term]." I felt so ridiculed and awkward and unwelcome. I've always heard good things about this place so I wanted to have a baby blanket embroidered for…read moremy sister. I showed my idea of exactly what I wanted to the woman who helped me and she said that they couldn't match the fonts I wanted exactly but they could use similar ones and I said that was fine. When I picked up the blanket the fonts they had chosen were not similar to what I had originally showed them, the words were not centered on the blanket itself, the words were not centered against each other (visually speaking or measurement wise) and the embroidery was significantly smaller than what I had asked for. So I took the blanket back and the woman I spoke to this time (I think she was the owner) basically told me I was wrong and that my design was fine and I was trying to take advantage of the business because I wanted my money back. My mistake was assuming that when they chose from the fonts they have they would have lined things up to make them look straight and centered. I also should have asked to see what fonts they could do before I trusted them to embroider the blanket.

Designer fabrics that are top notch. These fabrics are incredibly beautiful! The choice of machines are also top quality. I have a Destiny 2 and absolutely would not part with it! I purchased it from Sanford Sewing, was taught how to use it (a joy since I am long term sewer but new to quilting!) My machine goes back for a "visit" when it needs a tune up or a thorough cleaning. The machinists are top at their craft. They not only maintain my Destiny 2 but have worked on my serger and my other sewing machine brands as well! When you need a new sewing foot, a variety of needle sizes, machine parts. quilting patterns, fat quarters, themed or holiday fabric designs, quilting rulers, battings, and thread, thread, thread, it is all in one place, Sanford Sewing!
