This being my last day in Italy, I wanted something that would take my breath away. It started with great customer service. It was a bit chilly outside, but we opted to sit out there in lieu of a 20 mins. wait. They had heaters if we needed them. The food was beyond my expectations. For starters we had the stuffed zucchini flowers. I would have preferred them not fried, though still very tasty. We shared the Ossobuco with Saffron Risotto - the lunch portion was large enough to share, but I have to say, after the first bite, I regretted sharing. I could have eaten the whole thing. I had to try the creamed fava beans, so I ordered a side. No regrets whatsoever. My taste buds were doing the tarantella! Everything was fabulous, paired with a glass of Pinot Noir.

We got this thingy slice beef with artichokes that was highly recommended by the waiter. The meat was terribly dry and the artichoke was extremely stringy. The dish definitely needed more salt and flavoring. Next up was the pasta dish. The pasta was freshly made and cooked perfectly. But the mushroom sauce was flavorless and boring. The thick pasta needed heavier sauce to bring out the flavor, which was definitely lacking in this dish. Grill fish was the best dish that we got here. But, again, the salt needed more salt. I squeezed tons of lemon and added salt and pepper myself to bring out more flavor. It was good to have not the fish overcooked though. This would be the only dish worth ordering if you were to come eat here. Tip: Not a place I would recommend eating in Milan.

The pasta was boiled to perfection and tasted quite fresh. The flavor was 5/5 and the customer service was outstanding. Our waiter really took good care of us and was very patient with waiting for me to figure out what i wanted. There's a whole lot on the menu but I'm glad I chose an excellent dish. It was probably a 2-5 minute walk from the main city center area but it was not far at all.

The friendly owner, despite speaking little English, was very helpful in recommending dishes. Some dishes on the menu had English translations. After 8:30pm, more customers started trickling in. The homemade ravioli was the highlight of the meal. Pasta is al dente and perfectly tossed in tomato sauce. The most expensive item we ordered was the Fiorentina steak. At over 40 euros, the dish fed 3 people. Meat was tender but we liked the pasta dishes more. Overall, authentic food, friendly owner, and family atmosphere make this a good choice for a down-to-earth dining experience.

We wandered over to this spot as an easy walk from our hotel without a reservation and were lucky to snag table. The back patio is gorgeous and the ambience is incredible. Cozy, green, bright, inviting. Foodwise we did a shared cheese plate, my husband had the osso bucco, and I had the eggplant gnocchi. The cheese plate was SO GOOD. Like each bite was delicious and we literally fought over the last few cheeses left on the plate. My husband demolished his osso bucco and I adored the eggplant gnocchi. So so so tasty and I would absolutely get it again. Service was friendly and drinks were delicious; the desserts definitely did not pale in comparison either. I had the chocolate cake which was delectable. I would put this on your "must try, must eat at" list and definitely swing by if you are in Milan. This will be our go to, never skip spot from here on out and we are absolutely planning on grabbing a reservation next time to make sure we can dine here.

A basket of breads and a bowl of olives were served to us by our waiter, Fabio. I asked his recommendation for a nice red wine that was smooth. He chose a delicious wine, perfect for the main dish beef I planned to order. My husband ordered a wonderful fizzy water that we hope we can find at home. I am celiac, so no bread for me. However, my husband said the pillowy focaccia was his favorite out of the selections in the basket. Let me tell you about the olives: they were the best green olives I have ever had, popping with garlic flavor, and their texture was perfect. They tasted home-made to me! We started the meal with a selection of cheeses which came with a pot of honey and a pot of a caramelized red onion-reduced in red wine and sweetened with a little sugar. The onion condiment was divine. It was best when topped on the truffle cheese. Main courses arrived later. My steak fillet was the softest beef I have ever eaten. In fact, it was truly the best steak I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection! My husband ordered the sea bass and grilled veggies. We split the veggies. For dessert my husband selected a flan-like dessert that was smooth and silky while I chose a green apple sorbet that had a French Norman brandy (Calvados) on top. This was a sensational pop of flavors. Ending the meal with coffee, we promised ourselves to return on our next trip to Milano. Thank Fabio for excellent service and for making our last dinner in Milan a meal to remember!
