Exceeded my expectations I thought I knew how to move, but it became obvious that these guys had more experience. I had them move me form a storage unit, apartment and a fabrication shop to my new house. Unfortunately my wife was not around to help (lucky her). Kevin was their lead guy for me, and he did a great job. I worked them pretty hard (it was a hot hot day). They didn't complain. It seems that the guy who answers the phone Sana (spelling?) is the owner. He was pretty helpful and helped make a stressful event into just another day. I will definitely recommend these guys to friends. read more

Very unfortunate experience we had with them. It took days to get a response after multiple calls and texts. When two movers finally showed up, we politely asked them to wait so we can clear some things. They decided to drive off and never return. We called and texted them back with no response. You don't treat customers like that. We ended up having to move large furniture ourselves, 4 ladies! I wouldn't trust this company. You're taking a risk. read more

Carlos and his new guy (1st day, sorry didn't get name) did a great job last Sunday. Very hard workers, and organized. It was very hot but they never complained. We could not have done it by ourselves and wished we would have hired them another day! Reasonable prices also. Very uplifting and friendly! Helped so much since we were so overwhelmed! read more

Very helpful. Quick. Friendly. Professional. On time and courteous. I would recommend any of these gentlemen.

Well done job. They're very efficient, polite answered questions and made sure my property was well protected. Will recommend you to others and will use again if needed read more

Price was better by far than other movers and Rodney and his guys were amazing! Extremely friendly and had everything moved into an upstairs apartment in half the time I was expecting. Would definitely recommend! read more

What ever you do, don't call on this bunch to touch your items. They didn't tie my glass and mirrored cabinets and at the destination it looked like they were at a target range. I even got an extra roll of bubble wrap and straps to use on them. When my daughter went to watch them unload those cabinets were in tiny pieces. I should have sued the pants off of them. They were 4 thousand dollars and were demolished due to the carelessness! And the owner and an assistant were the ones to put them in the truck!!!!! DONT EVEN CALL THEM TO GET A QUOTE! read more

Horrible Experience With These Movers I used this company on a long distance move from Texas to Ohio. These people are horrible. If you judge them by the website, you would think they have their own truck. I was moving from Texas to Ohio. My move was scheduled for 12 noon. I was called and told they were running late. They actually were having to get an uHaul truck and was running around the metroplex trying to find one. When they eventually arrived at my residence, they had no dolly. I had a huge amount of boxes since these folks insist on you doing your own packing. They came late which meant I was rushed because they were also transporting my vehicle.  We had to go back to uHaul to attach the trailer to the uHaul truck. Oh, by the way, I have an expensive massage chair which at first they refused to load because they didn't know how to disassemble it. I had to figure that out and insist they go back my residence to pick up the chair. These nitwits were going to leave the chair in the house that I was moving from! I explained I couldn't do that because the buyer was taking ownership in a few days. Crazy. They had no tools, I had to ask my neighbors for tools as I figured out how to disassemble the chair. Horrible experience. I advised David the owner my contents which included a washer and dryer.  I also advised Peter the supervisor of the two movers and one of the movers I also had a washer and dryer. However, I didn't show them the washer and driver although they had knowledge of it. I think what happended because of the rushing to get back to uHaul and then to load my massage chair so they could get on the road that night we all forgot about the washer and dryer. I didn't think about it until my sister asked about it.  I asked Peter if they had loaded the washer and dryer. He couldn't tell me. I asked my real estate agent to check the house and they were still there. I had to have them hauled away because at that point I had already arrived at my destination. I couldn't do anything with them, but accept it as a loss.  These folks are unprofessional. Some of my items were broken or pieces missing. I didn't bother with an insurance claim because I knew there would be no point in raising the issue. All they do is argue with you or point to verbiage in their one-page so-called contract.  This moving business is just a quick move that throws your items into an uHaul van/truck. They don't care how it gets there or whether it's still intact when you reach your destination. They allow payment once they load your items, but refuse to unload until you pay them. This is not right, but Peter explained they had been burned before. So, you get what you pay for. They are reasonably priced, but it comes at a price to do business with these folks.  Stay away from them. Their movers became involved in an argument and were threatening to fight right there at the scene of my storage location. I mean, it was like nothing I've ever experienced. Beware of these folks. Unprofessional and they don't give a shit about your personal items.   I think they get you by the price. However, you would think they would have some type of professionalism or customer service about them.  Once we reached my storage, the guy Peter wanted me to help him find additional help. He insisted that I accompany him to some corner stores to find other guys to help with the unloading. I had no idea where to find these types of people. It was a crazy experience.  Buyer beware and avoid these losers. They are trying to masquerade as a legitimate business. Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3480 read more

I was quoted a price from them, called a few more places then called them back 15 minutes later to book. They would'nt honor the original quote. Said the price went up. Seems like a shady company to me. read more

These guys called ahead of time and told me what to expect. They arrived early. However... I do not think they are honest movers. They took six to seven hours to move a 10x20 storage unit to my home. Given that it is a lot of stuff, they should have taken priority with their time. I expected five hours at the most: 2 hours to load, 2.5 hours to unload, and 30 minutes to drive. They even said that their phone says it would take one hour to drive, but in reality, 30 minutes is the time. In addition, find a company with a bigger truck or offers to give you some options. They took two trips (one fully packed and the other ~20%. They left the heavy items behind for the second trip so that the customer has no other options but to add another couple of hours. Hire a company that charges a little more, but prioritizes. read more

We hired this company several years ago when we built our first home and I can honestly say they were one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They failed to show up TWICE and even after confronting them with proof of the agreed upon time/dates Nathaniel tried to lie and say they did nothing wrong. I would rather leave all of my belongings than ever give a dollar to these scam artists read more

If i could give zero stars I would. So to start they tell me that if I mention the ad I get 15% off so that is what I did only for them to tell me after they already showed up that I wouldnt be getting the 15% until after I paid the full amount which makes zero sense.... So then they presented me with a contract and after reading the contract it says that they wouldnt provide insurance unless I paid them $200 dollars first, so essentially im paying for them to fix my furniture they broke. Then finally after further inspecting my furniture I found a giant hole punched through the back of my dresser that they neglected to tell me they created. I then contacted the owner who responded by telling me that they could give me $50 dollars to fix my $1500 dresser that they ruined. So its safe to say I do not recommend these movers to anyone! read more

I had reserved a time for moving almost a month ahead of schedule and confirmed the week before they day. On the day of they had to move the time for 1 to 2 pm to 3 to 4 pm. After that they called saying they did not have a truck and would send guys if we rented the U-haul. We rented a U-haul and were waiting until 7pm as they said they would. At 7:15 I called and the movers said it would be 35 to 45 more minutes. At 8pm no one showed and they ignored my calls. I am now out 60 dollars for the U-haul I would not have rented if they were not coming and ended up having to hire other movers to get moved out a couple of days later. These movers are far from "CONVENIENT"... read more

They didn't even show up after they were hired. We ended up having to unload truck on our own. Terrible. Do not use

Convenient Movers helped me move yesterday. The guy who booked my move was polite and respectful. The movers who did the work were quick and friendly. The price was affordable and reasonable. Actually I saved a lot of money by choosing this company. I would recommend these movers to anyone looking for reliable movers at an affordable cost. read more

This company couldn't be run any worse than it is now. Don't use them. They will either be hours late, or never show, and will offer no apologies. I feel the same as the review above. If I could give negative stars, I would. They only get one star because we are required to give one before posting a review. read more

Scheduled move for 3pm. The crew called and asked to change start time to 2pm. We arranged our schedule meet them at the time they requested. They didn't show up until 2:30. When we went to sign the contract, there was a $14 "environmental fee" that they didn't tell us about when we booked them. The driver called the manager about the extra fee. The manager, David, told the crew to "shut down the job." So they left! Wish I could give them zero stars. read more

0 stars. Never use this company! I would give negative stars if I could. They showed up more than 2 hours late and after calling several times I got a new excuse every time. They showed up and rescinded their initial quite and said it would cost 3x more an take 3x the amount of time to move my stuff. They said they wouldn't do it for any less and then left with attitudes. I had to hire another company and didn't move in on our closing day. I will be idling a BBB report on them. Workers and owner were VERY rude and disrespectful!!!! I spoke with friends after the fact who had run into this exact scenario with them. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! read more

these guys are great. they arrived on time, were quick and efficient. never mentioned how dirty my house was. communicated with each other well. and did an all around great job. they were also very affordable. I use to own a moving company so I understand what a difficult job it is, these guys have it down. I highly recommend them. they do make you pay before unloading the truck, which I hadn't been warned about. that threw me. but totally understandable in this business read more

YES YES YES YES ..... Well how do I start. It was a nightmare moving from Texas to oklahoma. First I placed a date with All my son's they cancelled on me on the moving date. After trying to get my own uhaul it was a no go either I needed a 24ft truck and only provided a small one. Anyways I found CONVENIENT MOVERS now the pricing was some what wrong what I assumed was it going to be initial pricing it changed but yet again I forgot about the 3:45 drive time we drive he decided to shave off 2 hrs off my time so I became a less price. All my furniture was placed with pads the guys asked if they could take a smoke break which was alright with me giving the fact they were working on the most oddest weather on the us TEXAS. I wished they asked for water breaks instead. now as they were unloading one of the guys offered to do other services ex. They reconnected my dryer vent and changed the outlets for the for the dryer that to me was a first and not the last I Wil definitely recommend them to my family and friends. read more

Bought a Groupon and scheduled move then was informed there would be an additional $90 fee. When I stated that wasn't disclosed in the Groupon ad and asked what it was for, I was told its just a fee they charge anyone using a Groupon. When I reiterated that it was against Groupon policy, he told me it was for taxes. I pointed out that tax on $169 isn't $90. Then he told me that the ad says materials aren't included. I said I didn't need any boxes or moving materials. He informed me their Dollie and furniture pads are materials and that there were also "environmental fees." Groupon acknowledged that merchants can't charge additional fees if it isn't disclosed in the ad and they refunded my money. These guys are extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Total scam. read more

Three hrs late, damaged more than they moved, and dropped F bombs with my 2 and 7 yr olds in the room. My first warning sign should have been: I scheduled with them the first time they called, but the same man called back that night, the next night, and the third night with the exact same question. Are you looking for movers? Organization-F. They called at the time they were to arrive and asked how many people it would take (despite the fact that I requested 3 from the start) and asked if I had a cooler full of beer ready, although one of them smelled of alcohol when they arrived. When they finally arrived close to sundown, they estimated 3 hours, required me to sign a waiver stating that I'm responsible for their damage, and if they're in an en route accident, their insurance pays $0.60/lb of loaded items. I can't think of much furniture that costs $0.60/lb. They require payment before they'll give your furniture back btw. The truck stays closed until you pay up. That's when the fun begins. 8 hours later (5 hours past the estimated time) they were finished, well past bedtime. In the meantime they proceeded to damage every piece they touched. Trim, drywall, hardwood floors. No piece of furniture made it inside without damaging one of these things. They made it clear with loud GDs and F bombs whenever they rammed a wall (with my children present). They saved the upstairs for last for some idiotic reason and were exhausted trying to move the last of it. That caused extra damage. I get that their jobs are tough, but the dream house I was moving into was pristine, and now has thousands of dollars in repairs caused by careless furniture handling. I've had 4 other furniture deliveries since and have been pleasantly surprised at how professional and careful they were. Convenient movers, worst experience ever. Hiring movers is supposed to be FOR the peace of mind, but it caused more stress than it cured. $1000 paid to them (for a 3 bedroom house to another 7 miles away) just to damage my new home. I could go on, but there's too much to type. read more

Convenient Movers is kinda a deceptive name because I thought it meant convenient for the paying customers. Nope! I was dead wrong it means they might do the job if it is convenient to them. Should have known from the moment I called them they were unprofessional. I called and instead of saying something like "Hello Convenient Movers" , I just got "Hello" . Thought I called the wrong number at first. Scheduled with them anyways . They didn't show up at all nor did they even call! They have a way to pay for their "service" online. If you decide to try these "movers" after reading all their negative reviews, I would suggest not to pay online. Only pay after the job is done. That way you dont have to worry about getting your money back when they don't show up. read more

TWO MEN SHOWED UP 2 HOURS LATE. Horrible customer service. We received their Groupon as a gift. Come to find out they are the most unexperienced and unprofessional "moving company." NO EXAGGERATION. The two men cursed, took frequent smoke breaks (on our time), and complained ALOT. They had no tools to take apart our furniture instead they pulled our door off to get our things out. They also did not have anything to wrap our EXPENSIVE pieces in and had chipped all of our bedroom furniture. It was supposed to be done in 2 hours and they took about 5. They got lost to and from both locations. They did not even have a GPS. We called their "manager" who was not at all compassionate and tried to charge us for all 5 hours and cursed at my husband over the phone and accusing us of trying to "get a deal." No, we work in the furniture business and know exactly how things are supposed to be done. Overall, we made them leave with the two hours paid for by the groupon and they did not reimburse us for our damaged furniture, nor did they apologize for being inefficient and damaging our furniture. HORRIBLE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND HIRE ALL MY SONS!!! We only used this company because it was a gift and REGRET IT!!! Everything from the first phone call to the last minute was horrifying customer service. I can't even believe they are still in business! This was in November 2013. Now that I have read all of these recent reviews I am not surprised at all. It looks like since our incident (or multiple others like ours) they are making people pay first because they know if they don't get payment you will not pay due to their lack of professionalism and proper moving. ZERO STARS! read more

Showed up an hour late. First thing went into my bathroom and took a disgusting dump. Then made me pay for tax before they would get started. Repeatedly asked me if things were to be packed up (I'm moving - EVERYTHING IS TO BE PACKED). Because the truck wasn't big enough (I quoted on the phone prior to hiring 2 hours for whole thing) it took them 3 hours to load my 2 bedroom house into the truck and then when they got to my new house they threatened to drive off with ALL my belongings unless I paid them an extra $95 an hour. Damaged about a 1/3 of my stuff. Don't do businesss - complete rip off and awful company. read more

It was a fantastic experience. I was moving from Oklahoma city to California and everything went on very well. My goods arrived on time and nothing was damaged. The management was great because they kept in touch with me throughout the road trip. The movers were even better because they helped me assemble my beds and put everything together. This made it easier for my wife and I to settle at our new house. I am a happy camper. read more

purchased a Groupon with this company to help make our move a less stressful experience but it only made the situation worse. I followed the instructions and scheduled an appointment with the movers, the date was about two weeks out from my initial phone call which worked fine within our moving time frame. Our moving day arrived (March 8) and our appointment was scheduled at 2:00pmCST. 2:00pm rolled around and the truck hadn't arrived and I hadn't heard from the mover so I called the number for Convenient Movers and the call went straight to voicemail. The second number listed on their site with the (918) area code is disconnected. I finally received a call back at 2:30 and the employee advised that the truck was delayed at another job and they wouldn't be getting to me until 5pm. I had to pay extra for a full day of daycare for my 9 month old son and daycare had asked that he be picked up between 5-6pm that day so I had to frantically call daycare and make sure that it wouldn't be an issue if I was late and luckily she was willing to work with me. The truck showed up at 5pm and the men started loading the truck. They had to take apart my son's crib to load it, which became a huge issue when we got to the new house and they had lost one of the barrel nuts needed to secure the back railing of the crib. It was nowhere to be found, not in the truck, not on the floor of the new house or outside where they had unloaded and not in our old house. Without that nut, my son's crib wasn't safe for him to sleep in so I had to run to Home Depot at 8pm (my son's bedtime) and search for a barrel nut so we could put his crib together -- the movers didn't even offer to remedy the situation. They also didn't have the correct dolly to load our boxes and each additional hour after the 3hr Groupon was going to be $99/hr. We ended up not having them load any boxes because it took an hour for them to load up just the furniture and so we had them head to our new house. We go to our new house and they unloaded the furniture within about 30 minutes. Our mattress came off of the truck with some black mark that when my husband touched rubbed off onto his hands and they broke a leg off of our dresser. On top of the Groupon, we had to pay a $66 environmental and supplies fee (what supplies?? They didn't even have the correct dolly!) and after all of the issues we had with them up to this point there was no way I was giving them a check with my bank account information on it. So I decided to pay them cash and all I had was $20s so I handed the man $80 expecting change and he took the full $80 and walked out the door and left. Needless to say, this Groupon left much to be desired and I sincerely hope that you discontinue your work with them because I wouldn't wish this kind of service on my worst enemy. I will also be taking my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Bought a groupon for service from this company. They are crooks and should not be used under any circumstances. They tried to charge us many extra charges that were not stated in the groupon. We paid for 3 hours and only received 2 hours of service. We were told we would receive a refund and never did. It said there would be no travel fee if within 25 miles of downtown okc, which we are. But the zipcode they use to determine that distance is in del city. Beware of this company. read more

By far THE WORST experience I have EVER had. Started with unprofessional staff answering the phones. Scheduled us but when we called to confirm, had no record of us. Re-scheduled us but WE called THEM 30min after our movers were supposed to be there. Rescheduled us again to later that day- This happened 5 TIMES and every time WE called THEM when our movers were not there on time. Finally got too late and they rescheduled us for the next day- still showed up late. VERY unprofessional. We got asked to help carry our own things to the truck, got asked to take our tv's ourself so they "wouldn't be responsible for any damage". Set my leather couch on concrete and scraped the hell out of it. Broke my ottoman foot, drug my bed through mud (after i asked them to keep the sheet on to protect it and they assured me it would be fine). Walked through our house with NO show protection getting mud everywhere. Moved so slow we only got 1/2 our apartment done in 3 hours!!! When I called the company to tell them what happened and to file a claim, I was told the owner was out of town, they were busy and I'd need to call back later. Worst company you could ever hire. read more

Do not do any business with Convenient Movers. They do not have good business practices. The movers arrived at my residence 2 hours late. The owner did not make clear that they do not accept out of state checks until 10 minutes before the appointment time, which should have been addressed at the point of acquiring their services. Oklahoma City is a transient city where many people move there for college, federal and military jobs. Many people do not have local banks and they should have made clear of their payment policy. They do not handle your property with care. They dragged my couch on the floor after repeatedly telling them how to remove my couch out of the door. The truck broke down twice on the way to the destination which also caused them to be late to the arrival destination. Due to the lateness, when they finally arrived the storage facility was closed and the owner told me to accommodate their boarding and meals if I wanted my property to be placed because he needed the truck to do another job. These movers are irresponsible and the owner is unprofessional and has poor business practices. My belongings were damaged in the process after making clear that my boxes that were marked fragile should not be stacked at the bottom. My bed has deep scratches, my mattress were dirty from them dragging on the ground. They will not handle your property properly. By all means, avoid doing any business with this company. read more

I wish I would have seen the above review before I made the same mistake. These people are unbelievable!! I was scheduled to have my things picked up between 2-3, I called at 2:45 because I hadn't heard from them and I was told that it wouldn't be until 5:00!! You would think if they were going to be late they might at least call you, but I received no phone call and they acted like it was no big deal. I then called back at 4:45 to make sure they would be there at 5 and I got more excuses and bs. They finally tried to come at 7:30 until I explained that all the power had been shut off and it would be dark. Then he has the nerve to ask me if I really want it done at night, like that's when I scheduled it!!! When I spoke to the driver on the phone I personally heard his co-workers in the background, complaining about the apartment being on the second floor and then told me they wouldn't be able to move my furniture until the next day. Long story short I ended up telling them to take a hike. Now I'm stuck with no furniture and sleeping on the floor in my new house that has all my utilities turned on. Never ever use these people. I have never written a review before, but this company was so awful and I am fuming over their service, or lack there of, that I had to warn others and advise everyone to never use them! read more

BE AWARE CROOKS AND THIEVES!! I would give negative stars if possible. They showed up 5 1/2 hours late and then immediately complained it would take them until 3AM to get done. I had called them several times while waiting for them to show up and they kept giving excuses but said they were still coming. When they finally showed, they tried to charge me $5 more an hour per person and did have some other additional fees. They did change to the quoted price once I showed them the email I had from someone in their office. The movers complained the entire time about how much they had to move and that the owners didn't take care of them. I was originally quoted four hours to move at $30 per person and they would send two people for my job. Not only did it not cost me a total of $240, but, it was almost $1000!! The movers were very in my face and asking us to tip them on top of what they were charging us. They also kept asking us if we were paying in cash. (Not really sure what that is all about). Very uncomfortable with the move and the movers bullying us. Now to the good part. They stole all of our camera equipment, camcorders, and DVD player along with tracking mud all over my carpet. When I contacted the owner, he just said to file a police report. When I contacted the police, he said theft by movers is very common place and there is nothing that can be done unless the items actually get sold at a pawn shop and I had the serial numbers listed with the pawn shop database. Fortunately, I do have serial numbers and I have to wait to see if anything happens. This company is down right ridiculous and will take all of your money and your possessions. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!! read more
