the only good thing i can say about them is that they don't have bed bugs.
stayed for three days in the last year and 2 out of the 3 staff members i met were awful, unhelpful, rude, and genuinely didn't seem to care to help any of my issues. both women gave me incredible attitude and rolled their eyes at all of my questions. one of them wouldn't hang her phone up while speaking to me and kept it at her ear the entire time. the guy that works there was helpful enough.
the wifi doesn't work, if you tell them they won't help. they said it's always that bad. so maybe fix it?
my tv remote didn't work, i told them and they didn't help
the bed was not cleaned from the previous tenant, there were cold french fries in the sheets. i told them this right after check in and was told that housekeeping had already left for the day so there was nothing they could do. apparently changing sheets covered in food is too difficult for someone at the front desk to manage.
asked for a non-smoking room but received a room that smelled like smoke. as a former smoker this was a special kind of torture.
found dirt, cobwebs, and roaches. bathroom didn't seem clean either. wasted a whole can of febreze throughout my weekend just to try and make it bearable.
the environment felt unsafe, there were homeless people constantly outside at all hours loitering. old men were actually sitting outside in chairs, for hours, cat calling and staring whenever anyone left their rooms.
you're overcharged to stay there because the owner doesn't want to pay her or his own credit card fees so you pay an extra ten dollars for a room that's barely worth 20 dollars a night, let alone 70
but, hey. at least there were no bed bugs.
i'd keep driving until you find a better hotel. if you're going to pay 3 star hotel prices you should at least be given a clean room you feel safe in. read more
