We came here looking at the snowboards. Ryan was kind enough to help us. My husband wanted to…read morepurchase a snowboard, but we had already rented our gear. We didn't pick it up yet, so Ryan told us that we should look into possibly cancelling our rentals and getting a gift card to use at showcase. We thought that this wasn't possible, but after making a few phone calls and visiting Carleton lodge, we were able to get a refund on our rentals. That meant that my husband was able to purchase the snowboard that he wanted. Ryan was very knowledgeable on the different boards and explained why. He was able to explain the conditions that certain boards were good for. I also decided to purchase a pair of boots for myself as well instead of renting them. I tried on a couple different shoes. One of them was the vans and it was a little tighter than most shoes. I decided to get the Cadence boot in black. It was the most comfortable. I was also able to get a pair of gloves (burton) and pants (burton). Overall, if you are looking for snowboard gear this is the go to place. Worth the fact that the staff is very helpful and friendly. That is something that is sometimes difficult to find. Decent prices considering you are in whistler village. Definitely stop by here for any gear that you need for snowboarding!

Hmm.... how to review the only dry cleaner in town. Well.. the people who work here are friendly,…read morethat's a plus. Also, Dual Mountain has never mistreated me or my clothing (e.g. knocked the buttons off, caused fading, lost a button, given my clothing to some random person with the same surname) unlike some other dry cleaners I have patronized, which is fantastic. They are pretty fast ( cleaning ready the next afternoon) and that's great. The only negative is that this place is very expensive. However, it is Whistler where everything is expensive and they ARE the only dry cleaner in town, which makes price comparison within the area impossible. I am very glad they have never messed up my clothing because, knowing me, I would take the bus to Squamish if I was truly unhappy with this place. I have a "thing" about a cleaner messing up my clothes. Overall, I would suggest trying to minimize your cleaning needs while visiting Whistler, but this seems to be a pretty good cleaners, if you really need one.

We finally found a place in Whistler, BC that sells Bluetooth headsets - Telus…read more They are located just North of Whistler Village off of the Sea-To-Sky Highway in a small retail/commercial strip. They sell all sorts of mobile phones here, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and lots of third party phone accessories, including headphones, Bluetooth headsets, ruggedized cases, and more. They had several Bluetooth headsets, including a Jabra, a Jawbone, and the Motorola Hint. My friend and I both bought the Motorola Hint - we'd paid a bit more for it than if we had waited and bought it in the U.S. Staff was very nice. The store had clean lines and a bright, cheery feel to it. Pay attention Rogers Wireless Store in Whistler - they offer all the third party products that YOU should be offering!

I went in to see if they could help. They were friendly and cheery to me and my pup, which they welcomed into the store while looking after me. They had sooo much more patience with the old, finicky, half-dead device than I could. I wasn't hopeful they'd be able to get it going or recover very much, if anything. But they got it all ! - even the pictures transferred! :-) Then... after all the time they spent on my dilapidated device they didn't even charge me! :-) Thanks for the awesome service! :-D

Burnt Stew is Whistler's only authorized Apple retailer and Apple authorized repair centre…read more For nearly 30 years, Kendra Mazzei, has led this fabulous business and institution. Staff are wonderful, repairs are perfect, and Burnt Stew is convenient - - there is no driving to North Vancouver (for an Apple purchase or repair), or the need to ship an Apple device to Apple, for repair. Rumor has it that Kendra Mazzei is calling it a day, and Burnt Stew will be added to the chronicles of Whistler history. That is terribly sadening. Best one can do is celebrate nearly 30 years of Burnt Stew in Whistler, and hope that someone else comes to town, to operate an Apple retail store and Apple authorized repair centre.
