DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....ALSO NAMED VILLAGE REPAIR!!!!!!…read more Unless you want to blow $300 don't bother. I took in my phone that had water damage and a broken screen which he charged $45 and then $267 respectively and I'm left with a phone that doesn't work. The only consolation was that I could have the broken screen returned for $70 which would make the phone useless. The comment from the repairman was that it was not his fault that there was water damage. I said that there's no point in spending any money to replace a broken screen if the phone won't work and as an expert in the repair field for phones he should have known this. Not professional, not helpful, not easy to get a hold of (no email and you have to buzz some weird buzzer on the side of the building and he comes down to meet you). The whole experience was sketchy and a rip off... Buyer beware!

I have been dealing with cellfurb the last week. Firstly I…read morebrought my phone in to get my battery replaced and asked if they thought that was the problem. The guy gave it back after 30 minutes explaining it had been fixed and a new battery was put in. I noticed that night the battery was dropping even faster then before. I contacted cellfurb and they were quick to respond with helpful solutions to do a hard and soft reset of the phone. After I had followed these steps the phone still was dying fast and the charging port was now playing up and parts of my screen were not working to touch. They insisted I bring it back to have a look and fix the problem. They kept it over night. When I picked up my phone 12 hours later he had told me that he couldn't even get my phone to turn on resulting in a broken phone then charged me for 1.5 hours of his time. I went home extremely pissed off and put my phone straight on a charger and it is now back on! Service was bad and my phone is still broken $100 later.

First review ever. I usually do not make time for this but this is the worst service/business I…read morehave ever experienced. My wife took our cracked LCD screen Ipad in over a month ago and we are still waiting for it. With several phone calls asking it's whereabouts and an expected repaired/pick up date - they cannot provide us any details. I would expect that any business owner would take pride and have integrity in his business operations. The staff will not provide you with any contact info to help you surpass the 'front line' and will lie over and over again to cover up whatever it is that is going on with your device. They even make you pay up front for this horrible service. We were told that the part was available upon drop off. Then were told that they were all out of black screens (after 3 weeks and that's why it was taking so long) and offered us white as the other black ones got broken. We said sure and hoped to have it back shortly. Still waiting. At no point have they called us to keep us updated. We have left a note to have a manager call us and to no avail. He seems to not care very much about his business. Also, noticed that they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and there is a similar complaint listed. To Ryan and Mike of 99 Repairs - I will do my very best to tell everyone I know to stay as far away from your business. In the small towns of Whistler and Squamish, word travels fast.

Ridiculous experience. Do not take your phone here unless you plan on taking stock of every damage…read morethe phone already has because it may come back more broken. When picking up my phone, apparently it was dead and the person at the counter didnt even know if it was my phone or not. She was in such a rush that she wouldn't even bother taking the time to charge it and verify that it was mine. After leaving I realized there was another crack on the phone. Not knowing whether this was my phone or not, I walked back into the store to verify for sure. Another person came out of the back and he just kept repeating "I know for a fact this wasnt damaged here, we would never do this, I saw this phone when it came in and this crack wasnt here." Well, actually I just wanted to verify that is was my phone, and really this place was straight up rude and unaccountable. Now, Im not sure whether they broke it or not, but the way they treat their customers is enough reason to go elsewhere.

We finally found a place in Whistler, BC that sells Bluetooth headsets - Telus…read more They are located just North of Whistler Village off of the Sea-To-Sky Highway in a small retail/commercial strip. They sell all sorts of mobile phones here, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and lots of third party phone accessories, including headphones, Bluetooth headsets, ruggedized cases, and more. They had several Bluetooth headsets, including a Jabra, a Jawbone, and the Motorola Hint. My friend and I both bought the Motorola Hint - we'd paid a bit more for it than if we had waited and bought it in the U.S. Staff was very nice. The store had clean lines and a bright, cheery feel to it. Pay attention Rogers Wireless Store in Whistler - they offer all the third party products that YOU should be offering!

I went in to see if they could help. They were friendly and cheery to me and my pup, which they welcomed into the store while looking after me. They had sooo much more patience with the old, finicky, half-dead device than I could. I wasn't hopeful they'd be able to get it going or recover very much, if anything. But they got it all ! - even the pictures transferred! :-) Then... after all the time they spent on my dilapidated device they didn't even charge me! :-) Thanks for the awesome service! :-D
