Thankfully there is a UPS Store right in Whistler. I stopped in around lunch time to find out what I needed to do to ship stuff back to the U.S. The gentleman working there gave me some paperwork to fill out and bring back with me. I returned later in the afternoon with my loot and the paperwork mostly completed. I shipped everything back, except for two cigars I had purchased at Whistler Cigar Co. The UPS guy claimed that if the cigars were listed in my shipment that it would not clear customs. I stated they were not Cuban cigars - they were actually cigars from Honduras. He continued to insist that made no difference. So to insure that the rest of my stuff made it home, I omitted the cigars from the shipment. He took care of carefully packing up everything and completed the paperwork and processed my payment. As I recall it was about $40 and change - far less than I was expecting for a UPS Ground - Canada to U.S. shipment.

They sell all sorts of mobile phones here, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and lots of third party phone accessories, including headphones, Bluetooth headsets, ruggedized cases, and more. They had several Bluetooth headsets, including a Jabra, a Jawbone, and the Motorola Hint. My friend and I both bought the Motorola Hint - we'd paid a bit more for it than if we had waited and bought it in the U.S. Staff was very nice. The store had clean lines and a bright, cheery feel to it. Pay attention Rogers Wireless Store in Whistler - they offer all the third party products that YOU should be offering!

This place has such outstanding service that I felt I had to write a review. I was faffing with a…read morestem bolt on the trail and managed to overtorque it enough to snap off the head with the rest of the bolt stuck in the stem. I went to Coastal to see if they could help. I was expecting to have to leave the part for them to try fixing it or to have to buy a new stem if they couldn't. Either way, I was expecting to be without a functioning bike for at least a day. To my surprise, they took it and fixed in on the spot within minutes and handed me two replacement bolts to boot. I offered to pay but they said free of charge. I've also rented bikes from Coastal in the past for a bachelor party and they provided great well maintained bikes and excellent service there as well. Will always recommend Coastal for any future bike shop needs in Whistler!

We heard this was the spot to rent downhill bikes - the hype was justified!…read more The team here gets all your personal stats to adjust the bikes to suit you and your riding style (suspension, reach, and chainstays on the V10) so everything is ready to go when you pick them up. Our bikes were current generation Santa Cruz V10s. They came equipped with Fox 40 & rear coil, SRAM X0 drivetrain, Maven brakes, and Assegai/DHR tires with proper DH casings. The bikes were absolutely dialed and we had a blast riding everything from A-Line to double black tech with them. I've been on rental bikes in the past that were clapped and had soft brakes or wonky derailleurs - that was not the situation here at all. The crew was helpful making some last minute adjustments and locked the bikes up so we could sit down for lunch somewhere. One of the crew (maybe the owner?) also had some great recs for taking our bikes out in Whistler Valley on one of the days we weren't riding the park. We'll be renting from then the next time we visit. Highly recommend!
