Review Patrick and his staff are absolutely amazing! I stopped in there with just a couple of questions and within minutes my vehicle was up on a lift, and the team was diagnosing it. After we told Patrick what we had been through trying to find the problem, he explained to us he would check it out, at no cost, and get to the bottom of it. Within minutes , the team at Continental Transmission had found a problem and had it rectified, free of charge! This kind of customer service is rarely seen nowadays. Continental Transmission now has a customer for life, and I will definitely refer all of my friends and family! read more

Continental Transmission - Transmission Repair Near Me - West Seneca, New York

Took my 13 Rav there for the "known" shudder they have and a hard shift from 1-2, but after Pat and the team diagnosed the problem, it wasn't shifting into 2nd, jumped into 3rd- 2nd was gone. Had a feeling I'll be needed a new transmission. As Pat talked to me about this issue, I felt the compassion he had for me that put me at ease, and thoroughly explained what was going on and the proper fix. Quoted me a price and he said he'll need 3 days. Had one of his guys drive me home (30min away) and to my surprise, it was done the next day. When Pat called, - this I couldn't believe, he said we'll pick ya up, these guys go above and beyond what they should be doing. Have an issue with your vehicle, shifting weird, strange noise, at least give them a call, they'll steer you in right direction. Customer Service here is Excellent!! read more

Was having trouble with the transmission couldnt figure it out so pat went out of his way and built a full billet transmission for my truck, best transmission every! Zero ossue shifts amazingly read more

Professional Workmanship & Unbelievable Customer Service. We have a Chrysler minivan that needed a new Torque Converter (P0740 code). Pat gave us a fair price on a completely new/remanufactured transmission. The swap was completed in less than a day, they test drove it (forward), then called me to pick it up. I was backing out, and noticed a slight 'shudder' in reverse. Pat said they would do "what-ever it takes to fix it." They put in back in the shop and installed another set of engine mounts. When that didn't work, they put in a whole new (2nd) transmission without me even asking. You won't find a better shop. read more

I would like to double down on this 5 star review. The service offered here is above and beyond the call. I've been through my fair share of auto shops and have the upmost confidence in giving my business to the good people here at this Continental Transmission location. I highly recommend as your vehicle will be in great care!!! Thank you Geoff, Rick and all other techs and mechanics (I apologize I didn't catch the rest of your names) that helped me and worked on my car. read more

This review may run a little long, but the tl:dr version: Continental Transmission was able to give me peace of mind with my car I had been taking my car to one of the big name Chevrolet dealerships to get serviced in Buffalo and after the last few visits where I left with more "issues" than what I was going in for, I knew it was time for a change. The final straw was when I got a check engine light hopping on I-90W. I took my car to the closest AutoZone and plugged in their free car diagnostic reader and it read back that the turbo in my car was underpowered, indicating the turbo needed to either be repaired or replaced. I knew right away I needed to take my car somewhere else as I had just got my car back less than a week before from the dealership for "issues" they found that threw on engine check lights after I had brought it in the week before that for a simple oil change... I started researching online that day and I'll be honest, I didn't notice Continental Transmission, but I did notice Gerber Collision, which had a location next door to Continental Transmission. I called up Gerber Collision and explained my situation and they weren't able to help but they had nothing but good things to say about Continental Transmission. So I called them afterward and asked about bringing my car in the same day, which was a Monday, but they told me to bring it in first thing on Wednesday and that I didn't need an appointment. After looking on their website for a bit, I started to feel more at ease bringing my car to them. Come Wednesday morning, I brought it in right around when they opened and they took my car and performed their free diagnostic (which was $130 at the dealership for the same thing...). They were able to diagnose the issue and quoted me for a turbo replacement. They were great in explaining what they saw and what they needed to do to fix it and the price breakdown. They were forthcoming in saying that I had a choice to just repair the turbo but they wouldn't be able to do it (but they offered to help me find someone who would repair it if I wanted to go that route). I decided to give them a chance and replace the turbo. I asked if they'd be able to get it done by that Friday, since it was going to be a holiday weekend, and they were able to say yes, which was also a huge factor with me going this route. Since I was out a car, they actually drove me back home (I'm only 10 minutes or so away so not too far). Two days later, I got the call in the morning telling me my car was ready. Again, they were awesome in that they came and picked me up. The checkout process was quick and easy and they told me I could bring my car back in 30 days for a free check-up so they could double-check their work. Of course, I took them up on that just for the peace of mind! It's been well over a month now and my car has been running well! In summary, I'm happy, and grateful, for the quality of service and customer service at Continental Transmission. They may come off a little pricey, but they are worth it - I'll be bringing my car back here when I need an oil change or other servicing, going forward. read more

I had an issue with one of my vehicles and I didn't even know where to begin. I called up Continental transmission and was assured they could get my vehicle back to normal! Brought it in and dropped it off. Immediately greeted with a smile and a tail wag. I dropped the vehicle off as it was a bigger issue and would take longer than me staying. However, they do have a nice little waiting area and a TV. Got a call maybe three days later my car was ready. Same thing walk in smiles and tail wags. Got the keys and was explained everything they went through and had done. Price was more than reasonable. Got in the car and drove like a dream. If you have transmission issues these are the guys. They know what is going on. I know for sure my vehicles are in good hands when I drop it off the the boys at Continental Transmission. read more

My brother took his car here because he was having problems with his transmission. They called him later in the day and said they were backed up and couldn't get to it today. 15 minutes later, a different employee called him and said they ran all these tests and it needs $1500 in work. That employee tried scamming my brother. Don't go here! read more

Absolutely love this place!! I actually have never had my car in here for a transmission problem but I've had them work on the engine, ball joints, tie rods. The guys here are so very nice and respectable. You are greeted always with a smile, (I think even the cute little dog smiles). The men here take the time to explain everything to you, and if something isn't right they work on it with a smile until it is right. The only thing I'm sorry about is that it took me so long to find this "diamond" in West Seneca. I will forever be a customer.! read more

I am very dissatisfied with customer service. Another disappointing fact is I party went with continental because they had 3 locations which they advertise on their site I assumed they all covered the warranty from each location . I was incorrect by that. I moved far away from this location so now I have to drive to this one because my transmissions is giving me problems again on my truck. Trust me when I say there are a lot of better transmission shops around .Do not go here unless you want to return numerous times for problems with the work they did. If I could I would give them 0 out of 5 stars. read more
