After calling around to a couple of places and being told a number of times I could only get the work done at a dealer, Continental Transmission was able to quote me with a slightly lower rate for my car. Having been recommended to this shop by some friends I decided to go with them! To replace it they needed to tow my car to the dealer only to reprogram it, but overall they were able to get the job done at a lower rate than it would have been had I tried to take my car anywhere else. To that I am very grateful! It took about a week or so for them to get all of the work done. They called me when the work was finished and now my car is running the way it should be! The staff here was very friendly, they were straightforward with informing me of all of the things they had done to my car. No gender bias at all! I would definitely recommend this shop for any kind of serious transmission work.

They gave me a car to drive out to Orchard Park where I was given a loaner and they had my car towed to the West Herr Subaru that would cover the warranty. Nicole, in the service department, kept me updated not only on the progress of my car but the weather conditions there!! Linda at the front reception desk was always pleasant and helpful in person and on the phone. In fact not one person in any location was anything but kind and helpful. I can't recommend West Herr enough.
