Brought my sisters car in for a diagnosis for a noise coming from the front of the car. After…read morewaiting there while the mechanic checked it they told us that the car needed 2 wheel bearings and the price to replace them would be $1,300 plus tax. We paid $200 for the diagnostic fee, and I had to fight to get that included in the cost of the work. If you know anything about cars you would know the likelihood of 2 wheel bearings going bad at the same time is slim to none. I had to voice concerns and speak to multiple different people over at Mazda about this. When I asked if they were to preform the work, and should the noise still be present then what? I was told I would still be charged for the work, but further diagnostics would be on the house...gee thanks. Not trusting their "expert guess" they called a diagnosis, I went ahead and ordered ONE wheel bearing and put it in myself. Takes about 30 minutes start to finish, and guess what, the noise was gone. Had I not asked questions or had my sister been by herself this dealership would have robbed her blind. That's not including the brake flush and BS fuel injector cleaner they tried to sell her which would have put the bill over $2,000!!!! This was all fixed by a part that cost less than $200. The service department here is a joke, do your homework and don't send your family there if they don't have a basic understanding about cars. I attached a photo of the Ridiculous price to change the bearings (one of which was good) and the BS emissions service they try and upsell you. All this for a $175 part.....

I told him that itmay be out of my budget, he said I got you. when I finally get to the finance manager after three hours he sits down and goes double the budget I said I wanted to spend and tells me $600 a month for 72 months with up to $43,000 for $16,000 car granted I am a female, but I'm not new to buying cars or math and I'm definitely not stupid and I will never pay that much for a car that's not worth it for an Altima shame on you for not just being upfront and honest like I asked for from the beginning. I'm fine with not to get along because I have a car but the these dealers Yes I said they wanted me to finance a 16,000 car for 43,000 insane. I don't respect it!
