I was incredibly impressed by Jessica's detailed, thoughtful approach to how to think about marketing my home, how to prep it for the sale, and what to price it at. To be honest, I wasn't completely sure we'd be able to get the asking price she wanted to start at - it was high! But I trusted her because she was right about everything else up to that point. Thank you, Franky and Team!…read more If you are looking for a house in the DMV area, Franky is the perfect agent! HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). If my friend who came from foreign country asks me to recommend any agent, I will recommend FRANKY and his team! I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.

It would be impossible to describe how POSITIVE of an experience it was to work with Laura!…read moreEverything went soooooo smoothly from start to finish and Laura was that driver for us! She always made us feel like her #1 priority even though we knew she was busy with other clients: she made time for us on-a-dime, was always present, on-time or early, and was incredible good at scheduling around all of our busy schedules. Laura is an AMAZING communicator: was quick and responsive and always provided us with thorough details and explanations. Laura provided us (first-time home buyers) with an incredible wealth of knowledge and advice when we requested and had great insights. She also has an extensive personal network that helped us start our lender search, find a day-of home inspector, and contractors to help us get started on our new-home projects. She understood our home buying strategy, and helped us get our dream house on our FIRST offer! Her advice and guidance was instrumental in us landing the house we had our hearts set on! Laura was recommended to us as a top agent in the DMV area with impressive transaction volume each year. Although we identified multiple agents through our search, we immediately decided to work with Laura after our initial video call because we were impressed by her knowledge of the local housing market and all aspects of real estate transaction. We are so grateful that we did! We were buying a condo in a very competitive area. Every time when we made an offer, we had a competing offer and had to act very quickly to make our offer more competitive. Laura worked around the clock to prepare the comparative market analysis, tour the units with us, crafted and advised us on compelling offer terms and negotiated with the seller agents. Our closing had some extra complexities due to the condo building's financing approval being expired. Laura skillfully helped us navigate this issue. She proactively included relevant language in our offer to protect us from such financing issue before we even knew there was an issue with the condo building. After we discovered the issue, Laura was in constant communication with the seller's agent, condo building and mortgage broker to speedily resolve the issue and ensure we could close on time within 3 weeks. Laura's price prediction and recommendations were spot on when we submitted our offer. She recommended us to adjust our offer to a certain price to increase our chance of sealing the deal at our offer price (instead of activating the price escalation clause and resulting in us paying a higher price). We were able to be the winning offer because of Laura's excellent communication skills and expert advice. We followed Laura's recommendation and did not have to pay more than our offer price for the condo. The appraisal ended up being higher than our purchase price. We are grateful that Laura helped us secure our dream home at a great price. Laura was extremely responsive and patient. We had a lot of questions as first-time home buyers. Laura patiently answered all of our questions at any time of the day. Despite her busy schedule, she accommodated our challenging schedules and requests under short notice every single time, which enabled us to close our home with great success. We could not have asked for a better realtor to share this home purchase journey with. Thank you Laura for being an outstanding, caring and dedicated realtor!

Shanika is knowledgeable about neighborhoods, real estate trends, and very well connected. Not to mention, has a confident ease and very personable. You can see that Shanika wants you to find your home, more than just make a sale. Early on, I said I was willing to look and live all over DC, but really wanted to stay in NW, love natural light, wanted a 2bd condo and near "things". (I don't have a car). Shanika listened to me, watched carefully when we went to see condos, started to underhand my likes and dislikes, and never made me feel silly with all my questions and lack of knowledge. We communicated regularly via text/phone and using a particular app, she was able to see they types of places I was interested in. I saw a condo that was going on the market in a few days, we saw it before it went live... and the rest is history. The Coalition Properties Team hand held me( literally) through the entire process. I was also getting EHAP/HPAP monies making it a bit more difficult. They were on it. I was so impressed and thankful. I also love that they work with and support many black owned businesses and contacts. (Shoutout to Tracey on the closing team at coalition, Kendall my lender, and Sheldon the inspector!) So, to say it long. I had a wonderful experience working with Shanika. I put an offer on and purchased my first condo. A 2bd/1ba in Columbia Heights. I'm a homeowner y'all.
