I was provided a specials menu in addition to the regular menu. I was offered bread, but I declined so as not to go into an evening food coma. I ordered iced tea and was pleased with what tasted freshly brewed. Within 10 minutes, my food was out, and it was a hearty chop steak, cooked to medium as I requested, with flavorful gravy and cooked mushrooms and onions. I tried to cut it up and it was even hard to eat with a knife and fork. I left most of it. The server was obviously very busy, so the service was extremely indifferent. She never asked us if everything was alright. I sat with an empty water glass and wine glass for 20 minutes. My plate was full when she picked it up to clear, and she didn't even notice. After the brown lettuce and green egg on the salad I had the last visit, I swore I wouldn't be back, but my friends are loyal customers. I think the cheap happy hour drinks keep them coming back.
