House made cold cut chubs, liver sausage, pate, Black Forest ham, etc.

We stopped by randomly to pickup a quick lunch and the quality of their sausages/products won us over. Continental Gourmet Sausages is an German/Eastern European deli that specializes in house made sausages and specialty meats... and more. German beers/drinks, imported condiments, seasonings, candies, frozen goods, etc. We love it here and the ownership/staff. The lady behind the counter is so helpful and nice; I enjoy seeing her. Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake (old school German bar) was one of my old hang outs way back when, lol. And I believe they took over the ownership here since 2011. Very cool! -Cash/Credit accepted -Parking: Street/ behind the store.

11/2923.... I'm so fortunate to have a. German deli, Continental Gourmet Sausage (CGS) near our home. In store made wurst without preservatives. CGS is more than just wurst but also desserts, German noodles and other items I remembered while I growing up in Germany. They also make Sandwiches on freshly baked baguettes. Plenty of parking in the back next to Bank of America. It is a small deli located adjacent to the bank. Totally love... Weisswurst Knockwurst Fleisckasse Liverwurst Frozen schnitzel Kopfle Spatzel Frozen pretzel German chocolates

Nuernberger- from I remember, this is pork & veal--very homey taste..mildly spiced, good for kids!

Fantastic German deli and butcher. They ship bread in from Germany and they supply many of the other German food stores. Might as well come directly to the source. For us, it's the only German-approved spot for authentic sausages, deli cuts, Leberwurst, etc. Also a great spot of small goods (mustards, Müsli, wine, beer, baking/spices). Friendly staff too. Ooh and free Kalifornien Zeitung

I wanted to put a basket of popular/delicious German sausages and foods together for a friend's birthday, and it turned out amazing!! I had never been here before but the staff was really nice. The woman at the counter was super helpful- I told her my budget and what I was trying to do. She selected several different types of sausages, freshly baked (still hot) bread and butter. My friend loved every single piece. Thank you for helping me select such delicious items! I also bought a box of milk chocolates with a picture of cats on the front for my kids lol

This delicious shop and just saved Christmas for us. Our local German butcher burned down a few years ago and we haven't been able to find our traditional Wienerle no we eat on Christmas Eve anywhere. My daughter found the shop in Glendale, and I got on the phone. It was such a pleasure and easy experience talking to Abel and ordering Wienerle for pick up. He found out for me what day they were butchering so we could get them super fresh. My daughter brought them yesterday, and I am impressed. There are some harsh German judges in this house, and the sausages are really good. To my surprise, they also added this liverwurst to the order. They could not have known, this is one of my favorites! I know Glendale is a long way away from Sacramento, but they have a customer for life

6* Food 6* Quality…read moreQuality and quantity stand out here! I initially ordered a chicken lule kabob for my assistant. While waiting, I could see through the transparent glass window as generous portions of high quality meat were being grilled over Royal Oak charcoal. The aroma alone was irresistible and I ended up ordering beef lule and marinated ribeye as well. My family and I were blown away by the flavor and quality of both. The portions are generous, and the flavors from the marinades and spices are rich and completely satisfying. The kabobs are juicy and can be served on rice or in wraps. Personally, I appreciated the option to purchase just the skewers to take home, since we prefer enjoying them hot over fresh rice with melted butter. The menu offers a wide variety of kabobs, including chicken, beef, pork, quail, and cornish hen. The market and restaurant are exceptionally clean; very impressive!! That said, I would recommend ordring to go, as seating is limited and the atmosphere is minimal. While waiting, I noticed many customers doing the same and also purchasing meats to take home and grill on their own. Theres also a small market section offering drinks, breads, homemade Armenian specialties, and condiments. Parking is convenent, and the location is on the corner of Western and Glenoaks (easy to access from both streets). Bravo to the owners for creating such a high quality restaurant and market. I hope it continues to maintain this standard! We are a fan and I can't imagine getting my kabobs anywhere else in LA.

They changed the way they charge, and now it makes no sense for them to be charging $14.55 for a "skewer" of beef lule for it to not even be a full skewer. The total charge was $155 for bbq that is less than 6Lb. Absolute disappointment, sad to see businesses start off so well, but ruin their service and product so quickly once they establish their customers.

Clean and quaint little small business butcher shop run by a Korean elderly couple. It was my first…read moretime at Angus Meat Market. For the convenience, the meat is more expensive than the grocery store (e.g., Ktown) but I don't think it is a huge dealbreaker. Frankly, their meat prices are now the same as similar meat cuts sold at grocery stores since food costs have gone up. Plus there is this nice feeling of supporting local and knowing the money is going fully to a family versus a big corporation like a grocery store chain. Upon entering the store, there were fridges filled with meat cuts in the middle and left side of the shop. The right hand side had some daily items like cooking supplies and some food. Everything was clean and organized with clear labels and prices. Majority of the meats were frozen and the only unfrozen meats were a small selection in the center where the counter was. I can see where some reviewers didn't like the meat being mostly frozen but this is a small storefront in a strip mall. If you're in the area or don't want to deal with the traffic and parking issues (e.g., street parking, valet or spending minimum of $35 or more for limited parking time) in Ktown for marginally cheaper meat, definitely give Angus Meat Market a try. The husband threw in a scallion salad for free.
