His crew is responsive and hardworking, and when my timeline got tight, Franklin didn't hesitate to step in himself and get his hands dirty to keep things on track. He was very fair with his pricing and never took advantage of changes that came up along the way. His attitude of "no problems, only solutions" was a huge stress relief for me throughout the project. I had several bids from other contractors, but my gut told me to go with Franklin -- and I'm so glad I listened. Eileen, his daughter, was also fantastic to deal with. Their communication was excellent: they always picked up the phone, always made time to come to the job site if I had questions or concerns, and always made me feel like my project mattered. I'm incredibly thankful I found Franklin and wouldn't hesitate for a second to use him again.

Picking this company to make my new roof and sunroom is the worst decision that i have made. They…read moremade lots of mistakes in my project and declined to correct them. I had to go to his bond company and CSLB to complain them to ask them come back. The newest gaps I found during painting project made my experience even worser, please see the photos then you know what I am talking about. The mistakes that they have made. 1. Made the roof eves shorter, the original ones were 24 inches, but they only made 18 inches. They blamed my structural engineer but lack of document support. After I escalated this issue and others to his bond company and CSLB, they came back to extend the rafter and added a soffit which made the appearance really bad. 2. They demolished a wall between the kitchen and sunroom, which should be kept. 3. They cut the water supply pipes(both cold and hot) and sewer line from underground to the wall and didn't seal them. when I turned on the water, the water came from underground. I had to spend $1,700 to hire a professinal plumber to reroute these pipes which should not need to. 4. They made the kitchen window opening lower than usual, it is too low that i even can not put a sink under the windows. I had to uninstall the new window, ask them come back to move the opening higher, then reinstall the new window. I spent $100 for uninstallation and another $250 to reinstall it. 5. During the painting of the eaves, the painters found lots of unusual gaps and took photos for me. They told me never hire them again. When i forwarded these photo to them, they declined to fix them and ask me to hire painters to patch them. The painters cannot do it since the gaps are so big and they used scrap wood to make the ending work.

My…read morewife and I got estimates from almost 5 different contractors to remodel our fireplace and it was obvious that the companies sent "salesmen" to talk about what was going to happen, as opposed to the actual Contractor showing up. "On" (the owner), came to our home and was with us every step of the way. Him, and Juan, did an absolute wonderful job walking us step-by-step on what was going to happen, their contract and insurance, exactly what to buy, etc. My wife is currently 8 months pregnant, so their level of patience was incredible! She felt at ease and really trusted them, and they delivered. ON, if you're reading this...thank you again so much. I will refer ANY & EVERYBODY to you guys for any masonry, or home remodeling. Guy sourced a wonderful array of subcontractors who all were very professional and did an excellent job of communicating and letting us know what we needed. Guy also gave us the most competitive price for all of the labor that we could find anywhere else around Los Angeles. We are so incredibly happy with the end product of the floor and the cabinets and are working with Goldenline again on our future projects around the condo that we plan to do very soon. We have also gotten new brand new windows, sliding patio doors and collapsible bifold doors installed and they look fabulous and the work was clean, efficient and tidy! Guy was very communicative and easily reachable and always responded in a quick fashion. A great experience!

It's an incredibly rare thing in this industry to meet people who genuinely care and are invested in your best interests. Vlad, our project manager, and Guy, the company owner, gave us detailed SOWs (Statement of Works) from the onset that they stayed true to. They were consistently forthcoming about which costs would be out of pocket and what's covered in the SOW. They kept us within our budget and worked with us whenever any issue arose. For example, our HoA was particularly troublesome at points in this process, but Vlad and Guy handled the situation with such care and, again I cannot emphasize this enough, transparency. Something that was invaluable to us and saved us incredible headache. We originally started the process with only a kitchen remodel, and then after seeing how detailed and forthcoming they were about pricing and schedule, we added a bathroom remodel as well and chose to re-floor the entire unit. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only was the finished product truly gorgeous but they were wonderful and trustworthy people to work with -- something that's truly rare.
