I say "nearly impossible" because I am about to report one of those rare instances. I reported a problem with an A/C installation performed by Anthony four years earlier at my daughter's home, and immediately, Anthony stepped up and took full responsibility for fixing the error and all the resulting damage that occurred as a result. My most sincere appreciation and thanks to Steve and Kelly!

This was, without question, the worst customer service experience our family has ever had…read more We trusted Anthony to install, maintain, and service our HVAC system for years. In September 2023, our AC was diagnosed as low on refrigerant, and we paid $463.51 to have refrigerant added. No leak search was recommended or documented. Years later, when we formally complained, Anthony admitted in writing that a leak search should have been offered. Unfortunately, by the time the problem resurfaced in 2026, major components were no longer covered the way they would have been had the issue been properly investigated earlier. In July 2026, Anthony again charged us to add refrigerant. Five days later, our entire system failed. We hired an independent certified HVAC technician who spent over four hours evaluating the system and identified multiple issues, including that it had been overcharged with refrigerant. While he could not definitively say that caused the compressor failure, he explained that an overcharged system can place significant stress on a compressor. What disappointed us most wasn't just the HVAC work--it was how the company handled the situation afterward. We experienced conflicting information from different employees, canceled appointments, and repeated communication problems. We tried to resolve everything privately through detailed emails and documentation before ever considering a public review. Although Anthony acknowledged that a leak search should have been recommended in 2023, they denied reimbursement. We also requested the HVAC Manager's documentation supporting their decision, but that request was never answered. After exhausting every reasonable effort to resolve this directly, we filed complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies and shared our experience publicly so other homeowners can make an informed decision. If you're considering Anthony, my advice is simple: get a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs or replacing your HVAC system. Keep copies of every invoice, every email, and every recommendation. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Anthony Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric.

Our service professional was Sam Sanchez, who has been to our home before. I wanted to compliment him for his timeliness in arriving at our home almost exactly at the time of the appointment. He treated my wife and I with respect and explained what he was going to do and the cost associated with the service. We believe we received a more than fair value for the service done. Thanks so much, Sam!

I called Teague to have them look at a wired smoke detector I thought I had a problem with. When…read morethey arrived, the electrician said it was not a smoke decor wired to the security system, and he could not fix it. He did nothing more than look at it, then walked out. Came back few minutes later saying the charge was $125. ( You should know that Teague installed the wiring, smoke detectors and security system in the house when it was built.) After paying and thinking about what they charged me, I called the Teague office to discuss it. When I called, I was told the manager had just stepped out, but the receptionist said he would call me back when he came back. He never called back. If they came out and found a problem, and I decided not to have them repair it, I could see them charging me for the service call. But coming out, looking at it and telling me they could not work on it, and then charging me $125, I think is a poor business practice. They put the system in, so obviously they could work on it. And then not calling me back, another poor business practice. I will not call them again, they obviously have no concern for their customers, they only care about how much money they can get out of them. If you need an electrician, call elsewhere and get someone you can trust to do the work, not walk away with your money.

This location comes staffed with folks ready to calm you down when you are angry, and willing to help you. Priceless. They efficiently handle folks that come in, register on a tablet, and get their issues, sales, questions, and whatnot resolved. I came in, because I am a business customer and was routed here by both my sales rep and the install tech support. When my new services was installed, I received an unwanted "free" spectrum WiFi set of devices that allows customers of Spectrum to connect to the Spectrum network. What do I need that for in my office? I was told to return it to a retail location. If you have ever received equipment from a cable company, you know that even if you don't use it, you are responsible for it at an unreasonable replacement cost, when the time comes to turn it back in. Well, needless to say, I don't want to remember that this equipment is sitting in a drawer some day, so I spent some time trying to figure out how to get it turned in. After several unsuccessful calls to installation and tech support, I was told by my sales rep to drop it at a retail store. Because I'd already been bounced around a bit, including jumping from the old location to this one, and a number of other mishaps unrelated to Spectrum in getting my new office established, I came in somewhat hot. I was immediately told by a sales associate that the equipment shouldn't be returned there. Ok. Only one thing registered in my brain; that you probably can't turn the equipment in by throwing it at someone's head. The dude could clearly see I was a tad off my rocker, and immediately started to tell me my options. He could absolutely accept the equipment and give me a receipt, but could not change my account to remove a service because he didn't have access to business accounts. Well, wait. That's what I need. I didn't want any changes to my account, and I wanted to turn in this worthless $600 pile of shrink wrapped equipment left in my office. So, yeah! Let's do "that!" He scanned a couple bar codes, gave me a receipt, and let me go my merry way with a smile. In all, I spent very little time there and left satisfied. So yeah. Spectrum... it's nice doing business with you :-)

Not sure how Spectrum got my moms credit card, but yep, the next month, I had to cancel my now deceased mothers credit card to keep Spectrum from stealing. Spectrum won't give an email address for a paper trail to prove I canceled service. Now today I get a THREATENING LETTER & bill for June and July. DO NOT USE SPECTRUM--- they will NOT allow you to stop service EVER... not even when you DIE!!! I don't have time to grieve my mom because of companies like Spectrum that make this a full time job dealing with this crap.
