I walked in yesterday 6/12/26 and I was having a severe allergic reaction to something. I told the reception desk I was have difficulty breathing, and she was more concerned with getting my insurance and payment upfront before letting a care provider talk to me. I told her again I am having trouble breathing and she said sit here and let's get these forms filled out. it was obvious my face was swollen and red, lips were puffy, pretty much every indicator of a severe reaction. I said screw it and left, I went to Memorial Herman in the Woodlands and walked in, didn't even say two words to the nurse at the check in desk, she looked up and said "oh my God" and rushed me back to be treated. if you need help stay away from this place they just want your money is all they care about. place is a joke and so is their staff.

The doctor is very personable and not an antibiotic pusher. We had a negative strep test, but there was obvious irritation and her tonsils were slightly swollen so the doctor did issue a prescription on hold so we could get it if allergy meds and rest didn't start to help. I was very impressed with the care and service and would highly recommend them.

The entire experience was great. We were able to make an appointment very quickly, we didn't have to wait too long at any point during our time here, and the people were super friendly. The woman behind the counter gave my son stuff to color while we waited, and they had a small kids table, which was really helpful for him to feel like he had a good experience (and to keep me sane). The doctor was also great - praising my son for being such an awesome patient, which probably gives him a very positive memory of going to the doctor. And most importantly, that cough disappeared almost immediately after he got on the meds! The whole experience was better than another urgent care that I've visited multiple times because it's closer to my house, but it's worth driving a little further for this one.
