I've gone to this Care Now location several times over the years but I have to say today was the absolute WORST experience I've ever had with them. The NP on duty, Guerlyne Henson, had no bedside manner. I came in with an ear ache and sinus congestion that I've had for about 3 days. Nothing I was doing at home helped, she barely looked in my ears and never checked my nasal cavities even after I asked her to she then proceeded to tell me to do warm compresses (BEEN DOING AND NO RELIEF) and tells me that I was just there in January of this year for the same thing and when I tried to correct her and tell her i haven't been there at all this year she dismissed me and waved me off like I was lyin! I have absolutely NO intentions of ever visiting this location again. read more

I paid $75 to sit in a room for 20 minutes and for her to barely peek at my ears and throat, I told her I was in same household as someone who just got covid, told her all my symptoms, she stopped me to let me know the color of your mucus DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING......are you kidding? My whole life I've ALWAYS been asked by doctors what color your mucus is...because it CAN MEAN your body is trying to fight something off. Save your money and go elsewhere. It's very clear she wasn't listening to me because she put my diagnosis as "acute pharyngitis", when sore throat wasn't my main symptom! I went to CareNow with my 4 year old that was having stomach pain and a temperature of 100.3. The man at the front desk was rude and not professional. The nurse practitioner didn't even feel her stomach until I asked her to do so. They also made my daughter who was in pain and nauseous wait 15 mins for discharge papers with 1 prescription that we didn't even want. The people who work here were slow and lazy. read more

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. When I showed up she eluded to the fact that this was an urgent care 'by appointment' only. She set me an appointment for 3 hours later that was never an appointment. She had an excuse for everything. Appointment was set for 1PM I arrived at 12:40pm. At 1:30 people that got in after me were going in. Her excuse was "the appointment wasn't a really an appointment" and that walk ins were put in line. This is a ridiculous method. I visited this urgent care last week. There was no one in the waiting room and I was there for over an hour and a half waiting. I was supposed to get a phone call with test results and never received it. I had to call to get results. Staff is not the friendliest. I will not return to this location. I had lost my contact in my eye. I couldn't find hide nor hair of it. I thought maybe it had dropped out but nothing. So, I went to Conroe Urgent Care - CareNow. It was great. I timed it well since I was the only one there. That was not true when I left. The front staff helped get the paperwork done. It was my first visit. I was taken to a room quickly. The nurse did all her stuff efficiently. Then the Doctor came in. He was ... perfect. He looked into my eye. Added some pain drops. Oh, how I loved those pain drops! Then explored my eyeball. The news......no contact. But in my rummaging around for it, I had irritated the heck out of it. He explained what to expect as the pain drops wore off. There were no cuts or damage he could see. He suggested I see my eye Doctor. Now, here's the impressive part. Sunday (the next day), they called me to check on me! What? I expect that from my personal Doctors after surgery, etc. but this was urgent care. I never expected that in a million years. What service! I strongly urge you to consider CareNow if you need something that just can't wait for your regular Doctor. In my case, it happened at 9pm on a Friday. I was not at home. So, on Saturday, when they opened; I was there. That's the down side. They are not 24 hr care. Monday-Friday, they have generous hours. Then they are also open on Sunday. Wow! read more

Dr. Clark had amazing bedside manner. She had a genuine warmth & soft demeanor that made my visit extremely satisfactory. She is one of the nicest, thorough, & informative Urgent Care doctors I've ever seen. The nurse I spoke to before the doctor was very nice as well. I felt immediately comfortable with her. The male nurse who swabbed my nose made that uncomfortable procedure much more comfortable than i have experienced in the past. He was also very warm & friendly. I even received a follow up call to check and make sure I was feeling okay the next day. That is above and beyond service. I would say this office has an extremely well rounded staff that set the right tone and circumstances for clients to have a great experience. I will definitely come back if I need urgent care. read more

At the Conroe location, Dr. Australia Clark is the absolute BEST doctor I have ever been to. She is thorough, smart, extremely knowledgeable and up- to- date and has an excellent demeanor. The doctors and nurses here are amazing. They take care of you. The front desk employees, however, are incredibly rude. I've been here a few times and watched them argue with nurses, and today, they told me to wait in my vehicle dude to having symptoms of covid, and they forgot about me. I had to call and talk to someone who wasn't at the front desk and finally got told to come inside only to wait even more. I got there at around 10:40 and didn't get sent back until 12:30 due to being forgotten, then finally saw a doctor at 1:30. All for a sinus infection. read more

Never go to this care center. They don't take CARE of you. Very rude staff and did not really want to take the time to help in anyway at all. They treated my wife as if she was a drug addict trying to get more drugs. My wife tried to explain to these horrible women why she was in pain and they told her to go the the emergency room and they could not help at all. They did not take the time to understand or in anyway help. I think they just wanted to be left alone so they could leave on time. WTF is wrong with you people. If you have time please go to the spring location or anywhere else but here. The front desk lady does not know what she is doing and does not have god customer service. I came in as a walk in, she told me it would be over an hr wait and to come back in an hr and she will be able to send me back. When I came back she told me it would be over an hr wait again! She did this to multiple people while I was there. One girl left and came back the time she said and she told her it was now a 4 hr wait after sending her away and telling her to come back at a certain time. Very unorganized very unprofessional. I waited for 1.5 hrs with them only sending back 2 people in that time. I was poked 3 times for blood work and they could not get it. They sent me to another clinic because they could not do it. I wasted 4 hrs total trying to get in for blood work just for them to not be able to do it. The spring location was amazing. Super sweet staff and they got me back right away as a walk in. read more

Due to an injury, I needed to be seen before my regular primary care doctor could schedule me but it wasn't ER urgent. Care Now in Conroe was perfect. Allison at the front desk, Darrell in X-ray, and Dr Hambrick got me in quickly and taken care of. The injury required followup appointments and instead of switching back to my regular Primary Care Physician, I was happy to return to Care Now until Dr. Hambrick felt comfortable releasing me back to work. Their onsite x-ray department helps minimize lengthy hospital wait times. While I hope I am done going to any doctors' offices any time soon, Care Now is definitely a place I can count on. read more

They make sure you understand the diagnosis and treatment before you leave the building. The nurse even came back and made sure I understood everything.
