    SMALL LOADED TATER TOTS
    Colin J.

As a former EL resident, I have been getting Conrad's for over 5 years. I have to say that it is the first thing that comes to mind when I am back in the area. In college, my friends and I took advantage of the delivery almost every time we went out. After a long night, we wanted nothing more than to go home and order Conrad's. They have a wide selection of wraps that has something for everyone. I would recommend any of their chicken tender wraps. Get home and fall asleep? Don't worry, they open at 11am just in time for you to order. My personal favorite was a Sunrise Wrap (add bacon). This consisted of eggs, cheese, bacon, and tater tots all wrapped in a crispy tortilla. I am also a fan of the French toast wrap (get a side of maple syrup). The wraps are reasonably priced $11-14. They are decently sized and I often had left overs. They heat up nicely in an air fryer! My friends and I have been happy customers for years now and if you are in the area, you must check them out. They also have another location in Lansing.

Love conrads. Fast delivery ( unless its a friday or saturday night!) Amazing staff, super fast take out. The frandor location is even open now for the eastsiders. Couldn't recommend enough. (I do work here yes but my love is real) come see me and the homies!

I heard about this place for a while. I finally gave it a try. Really good, lives up to the hype! Of course, recommend the #1! The tots sure do make the wrap that much better! Must try: Mac and cheese bites, generous portion of total crunchy decadence! They are open for carry out and they have delivery. Super friendly too.

My friend and a wrap to show some scale. Number One sub Tenders! Amazing.

Went to all three locations in East Lansing due to a recommendation by a close friend. Killer wraps for a person who enjoys drinking more than eating when visiting a new city. Quick service, good kids working there! You can sub any grilled chicken for tenders and these things are MASSIVE. All good for a quick bite or hangover recovery. In order of what I tried, by favorite: JFK Spicy Chicken Hawaiian Reed Number One Sweet Thai Sides I would recommend: fried pickles and Mac n cheese bites! I like tons of flavors and sauces but would recommend the Number One for a simple and delicious crowd pleaser. It's number one after all!

Ordered food from hear, the delivery driver called and requested me to meet them outside. I notified them that I was in the lobby of my workplace, the driver demanded that I come to his vehicle for my food. 30 seconds later I arrive at his car passenger window, with his car still in drive. He asked my name and phone number, and I joking said the number you called like a minute ago. He clarified angrily that he had to verify it was my order, and as I reached and grabbed my food from him from inside his car, THE DRIVER SPED OFF NEARLY TAKING MY FOOD AND ARM WITH HIM. We then flipped each other off, as you do after you almost get ran over. After returning to eat I realized that my FOOD WAS MADE INCORRECTLY. Calling the store I was finally put on the phone with the manager, I explained that my order lacked lettuce and tomato which I paid extra to add. The manager told me that they are really slow and he witnessed the order being made and that there is indeed extra toppings on my wrap. I explained maybe the wrong wrap was delivered because there obviously isn't and I'd be happy to send a picture. THE MANAGER SAID I DIDN'T NEED TO SEND PROOF THE ORDER WAS INCORRECT BECAUSE HE KNOWS IT WASN'T. After an escalated conversation deciding if the manager has knowledge of what lettuce and tomatoes look like or possibly if I did, I just hung up after informing him that I'll be sending the proof to their company. The call had escalated that I didn't even get the manger's name. The wrap was okay but lacked lettuce and tomatoes, fries were terrible. Wouldn't recommend.

    the Hawaiian Reed Con-Wrap (half)

I close at my job every night so it's super convenient that they're open so late. I go all the time and this is easily my favorite place to eat in east lansing. It also hits so hard when you're high. It's already BUSSIN when sober, but it really do be hittin a whole 'nother level man. The Hawaiian Reed Wrap and the Waffle Fries are SUPREME!!!

Good food and friendly service. Not very light fare, but would be great after the bar or other late night event.

Ordered the crab Rangoon dip, yummy crunch, cali roll with cream cheese, pad Thai, croque monsieur (because mom has never tried it and figured it could be worth a try), gouda Mac and cheese, chicken hibachi. $89+ Sushi, American and an eclectic mix of cuisine here. The cali roll is so-so. The chicken hibachi was overcooked and not much flavor. Comes with plain rice. I asked if I could get more veggies, another staffer said yes. Never saw one more piece of veggie at all, beyond what comes with the hibachi. The croque monsieur is ok, not super flavorful, the cheese on top seems like an afterthought. The crab Rangoon dip was decent. Wontons are nicely fried. Pitas aren't too bad. The smoked Gouda is quite good, the cork screw noodles are perfect with the cheese blend. The pad that is just okay, could have used a lime and some bean sprouts. Bar feel inside. Glad they have booths, my mother feels more comfortable in them, more closed off and protective than a table and chairs in the middle of the dining area. Our waitress wasn't too bad. Did end up interacting with other staff for items. We asked one waiter with chin length hair on his left side and short or shaved on the right side to take a picture, he looked annoyed and couldn't be bothered to take a picture of my family. He only took one picture and it was bleary and far away. Glad this sour grape didn't wait on us today. Phew!

The countless times I have entered and felt the entire mood of the place and then suffered through it. I am not an old codger, dear reader. I am fairly optimistic, yet the most expensive issues for dining out are costly. For my time, my wallet and value. With that, I am pleased to offer "Cooperhawk Winery and Restaurant." It is beautiful. Inside and out. It is for the connoisseur and the starter. It is priced right and there is something for everyone. Ordinarily, I would dismiss this type of venue. But it was the occasion of our anniversary and my wife is a wine girl. So I did it. And when we walked in,,, it was stunning. The first thing you will see is the grand wine wall with a long bar in front of it. This is where you can choose wine tastings and flights. Get a little something before dinner. They asked me if I was a card holding member. I laughed and said oh no. By the end of the day, I was. And am glad for it. The staff treats you like you are welcomed guests. Kind. Intuitive... and helpful. They are educated and know their stuff. The wine tasting was outstanding with the Sommelier addressing every facet of the drinks we were trying. And it was delicious. We were called for dinner and sat in the main dining room. Beautiful. Warm. Clean. Immediately, our server showed and wished us a happy anniversary and brought us complimentary champagne. (When you reserve your seats, it asks about special occasions). A bonus. We had a warm soft pretzel loaf with butter as we waited. My wife ordered a filet mignon platter which she defined as excellent. I had a chicken dish with outstanding potatoes and fresh green beans. More wine please. We imbibed. While we were full from the main course they still brought out some truffles to seal the deal. We decided to join the club and got a membership. 2 bottles of exclusive wine a month for $50. A fair value as with it comes wine tastings, complimentary glasses of wine when visiting and several offers a month. We have been back several times, and each is better than the last. I encourage you to come a half hour early to enjoy the spirits and relax before your meal. 10 out of 10.
