Failed to make their promised delivery date. Delivery day promised during sales interaction... because of this, I could not be present during the delivery, so my wife was forced to sign off on delivery while taking care of our three-year-old son simultaneously. Delivery boys pressured her to hurry up and sign as they had another job that they had to get to within the next 20 minutes. Sales representative, very inexperienced with navigating clients through purchase of multi unit bedroom set. When I got home, I could quickly see that the bedframe, mattress, and the adjustable mattress base we're not compatible with each other at all. A fact even the delivery boys confirmed to my wife as they were leaving. Escalated case all the way up to consumer relations since district management was unwilling to resolve. Even this company's consumer relations team has no interest in resolving issues. I ended up going ahead and filing a dispute/claim with the credit card company to resolve. Will never purchase anything from this store again. oh, and Conns, Please just go ahead and save your canned response to this review. Only even spending my time with this review so that buyers beware and don't end up in the same situation you stuck me and my family in with a $6000 purchase. read more

I was employed as a sales associate for 3 years. During my time at Conn's our store (#148) we won a company contest, we were never rewarded for winning. This company is endeavored in employee intimidation, to the point of recommending employees that it would be in their best interest not to report situations that could lead to their being "let go". Avoid this company like the plague or covid-19, as they would rather stay open during a National health emergency, than caring about the welfare and safety of their employees. I was #2 in sales out of 11 employees for my last month at work. They let me go due to low sales. I'm also 62 yrs old, oldest employee in the store. The DM seems to have an odd fetish for spying via store cameras. I'm feeling like this is totally age discrimination. read more

DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! Jane and Stewart Cooper here again. Please disregard our previous review. While they did replace the door on the fridge it was installed unevenly. We were promised that they would come to repair it but it's been over 2 months and nothing. Worse yet, we purchased a table and chairs which was damaged upon delivery. Conn's manager Dash and Thai said they would work something out but we are stuck with a table with a gash and crack, and chairs that need to be continually need the legs retightened with a phillips screwdriver. We are not large people so it is not that, the furniture is cheap, but very poorly made and no customer service. WE GOT CONNED. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. YOU WILL NOT COME OUT SATISFIED, RATHER, ANGRY AND RIPPED OFF. THEY ARE CROOKS!!! The only thing they have going for them is their sweet sales person Christine, but she has no say or control on righting wrongs. Very sad read more

My brother purchased his big screen television through Conn's, and paid for the most inclusive warranty that was offered. On April 25, 2019 I called on his behalf to arrange television repair. We were told since there are no Conn technicians in his area, that it would take three business days to schedule a technician. That was nine days ago! We did receive an email with a picture of the technician and his name saying he would be out on April 30. Then, I received a voicemail saying it would take three business days to schedule a technician! What kind of business are you running? My brother is partially disabled, is mute, and lives alone. His television is his company! We really need help. I have spent hours on the telephone with customer support, have spoken with supervisors, have begged to have this escalated, and still no results. If you are even 2 days late on your payment they will call you every 30 minutes and blow up your phone! This is not an exaggeration. We were 2 days late and we weren't getting paid until Friday and the calls did not stop. We even told them to wait 2 more days and we would pay. They are very rude and demanding. We just ordered 2 bedroom sets for our daughters and, we were told to pickup the available items on Wednesday (1 week later, we showed up 09.15.2021). Nothing is available??? We were initially informed that only the mirror was unavailable and that it would arrive at a later date. Which we were okay with... So we made all of the arrangements to drive out to a remote location (warehouse) to receive excuses. Why not provide a phone call and inform us that our items are not available. It's worst to get time off from work, show up, and get nothing but nonsense answers. They did not provide a committed date of arrival. Not shopping there anymore and no I would not recommend. Revised 9.21.21: They did keep good on their commitment to provide most of my furniture on Friday. Filled out an application for credit on-line and after verifying my identity telephonically I was approved with an ample credit line. A few days passed and we finally decided to go in to this location. The young man who called to verify me and give me the news of approval was not there so I was attended by Jorge Angulo. I provided him with my name and telephone number and he was able to bring up all of my information. He asked if we were looking for something in particular and then set us free in a pretty big store. Shortly after he checked in on us and lead us to a few recommendations that most closely matched what we wanted. He then allowed us to peruse the store and chase my toddler around with nothing but a smile. After we found a sofa set that we looked quite comfortable in he let us know that if we made a decision by 6pm and if our selections were in stock, delivery could be as soon as TOMORROW!!! Needless to say we made the cutoff time and our selection was just over $2,000 so we also qualified for FREE delivery. It took him all of about 10 minutes to determine whether our selection was in stock and once it was confirmed he came back and informed us. He than asked me to follow him for my signature and initials on some electronic paperwork that was immediately emailed to me upon completion. This was by far the most seamless and unpressured furniture buying experience ever. UPDATE AS OF: 11/17/2017 My furniture was delivered at 9:07am and two guys introduced themselves to me, asked me how and where I wanted everything set up and within 15 minutes it was totally completely. The additional 10 minutes was them taking out the glass to make sure nothing was broken or cracked; than the other guy checked to make sure everything reclined and was in one piece. He than took his tablet and took a picture of everything that was delivered, reclined and at a normal state. I then signed for the delivery, indicating I was accepting it and it was over. When me and my Fiance needed some furniture we looked into Conn's, what a huge mistake. Everything started out fine we got the living room set we were looking for and added in a great bedroom set. The guys in store were great and got us a good deal, when the furniture was delivered the issues started. They sent us the wrong couch, we called they apologized and said they would correct it. To correct it they had to rewrite the contract, which we thought would be fine. Boy were we wrong, after a couple months of good payments on the new contract their collections department called us to say that we had made no payments on the OLD contract. We explained the situation to the billing person and they said they would remove it. Next month same call same explanation and they once again stated they would cancel the OLD account as it wasnt valid and their mistake. Now me and my Fiance are trying to buy a house, we get all the credit reports and the paperwork done we start the process we find a house we put in an offer we have everything started then BOOM, Conn's send us to collections for an account they have admitted twice is an error and would be closed immediately. We call dozens of times to try and get the report removed and get push back from their customer service department; we put in escalations tickets, we go to the store and talk with everyone up to the regional manager to try and get a letter saying the account was sent to collections in error, at this point we get a call from our loan officer telling us this Conn's screw up has pushed us out of the credit approval range for our home. We now cant get our house, we are told all we need is a letter from Conn's stating the balance was in error and our credit score can be fixed to get the house. Now giving this information to Conn's with them admitting it is their fault you would think they would be willing to help us with a simple letter stating the account was erroneously sent to collections and they were fixing it wouldnt be an issue but boy would you be wrong. Today was supposed to be the day we closed on our house but guess what, thanks to the most horrible experience I e ever had with a company we aren't closing. I will never use this company again, and I will actively try and persuade people to choose someone else for their furniture needs. I am also filing a Fair Credit Reporting Act violation against this company for their despicable behavior during this entire process. read more

Conns is easily the worst company I have ever done business with. My family purchased a new range in March and we have had to call to have it serviced on two different occasions. This most recent call was made on November 19th. They told us they couldn't get someone to see the oven until Nov 29th. It was annoying but still understandable that we would spend Thanksgiving without an oven. On the 29th the technician came and broke our oven door before seeing what the real issue was (the electric panel which autolocked our oven shut) and left saying he needed to order a new part. Since then we have called various times. They scheduled an appointment for Dec 26th (another holiday without an oven) and the technician did not show up. I have called them 3 times today asking to speak with a supervisor and even told them I would hold. The response I got from Delilah was that she was not allowed to hold for more than two minutes. When I challenged that, she transferred me to her supervisor Jessica's (from San Antonio) voicemail. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and was once again sent to Jessica's voicemail. I called a third time and asked to speak to their legal team, John put me on hold for 5+ minutes (remember I can't be on hold for more than 2) and then said his supervisor suggests I call corporate and that I can be transferred to Jessica again. I asked who told him this and he responded "Jessica". So I asked, wouldn't it be smart to ask Jessica to go into her office before you transfer me since she is standing right next to you? He responded "uh yes" Jessica called me back 5 minutes later and denied that she told John to transfer me when she was with him and stated that she has been on the phone this entire time. Delilah and John both told me she was standing right next to them when I called. She then offered to escalate the issue and I asked if it was with JR, and she said yes. We have been waiting for JR to get back to us for 2 weeks. We have his cell phone number that he provided to us but he has been avoiding our calls. So no, I would not like this to get escalated to JR. You have a 30 day clause in your Conn's repair service agreement , which we purchased and is clearly stated on your website. "Replacement of the covered product with a new one of equal or similar features and functionality, in the event of the following: The total time to repair the product from the date of the initial service call exceeds 30 days". We are waiting for our replacement or a complete refund of the range and the Conn's repair service agreement. This is outrageous! You have THE WORST customer service and nobody wants to take ownership of this problem. The reps send it to Jessica, Jessica sends it to JR and JR never responds. read more

Heard many rumors and was very cautious about even going to this business. However all rumors are false. I went in met my salesman wonderful gentlemen not pushy at all. I was expecting a used car salesmen environment. I want to tell you I will definitely return to this store. I use Best Buy before over the years heard about this place, and I am very happy. Strong friendly family feeling here. My Salesman Dave Griego was awesome very professional ended up selling me a television for less and I went in for the more expensive. Showed me a better and less expensive television. That never happened to me. The general Manager at the store went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and treated well. Store clean staff polite. Just nothing but good things to say here! read more

People BEWARE!!!! DON'T BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! we purchased our over priced refrigerator in 2013 , a Samsung deluxe model with all the bells and whistles, the flashy salesman told us how wonderful Samsung was ( should have done my home work ) well August 1st our wonderful refrigerator stopped working, we called CONNS and the earliest appointment they could schedule was August 8th . 8 days without a refrigerator sucks, the service guy from A and E came out to inform us that the mother board was shot and they would have to order it from Korea so now our new appointment is August 21st the tech said it was common for this to break on Samsung refrigerators ??? But they don't carry spares. what the hell!!! The part came in (delivered to our home on the 15th) the tech said call when it came in because it would be a quick fix and the might be able to send a tech out to fix it earlier well AandE said nope the 21st is firm I've called CONNS multiple times and they tell me Oh we will talk to the AandE company but no help totally useless in backing up customers on their extended warranties... Almost a month of living out of ice chest buying ice every day not to mention $300+ of lost food because Samsung makes crappy refrigerators, our GE refrigerator lasted for 24 years (bought in 1994) I miss that refrigerator read more

This place is awesome. I have purchased a washer and dryer set and a 65" curved tv and both transactions were easy and I got 1 year interest on both of them. Thai Do was my sales man for the Tv and I would say it was the easiest transaction I have ever done. It was black Friday and I was in and out in less then 20 minutes. First off. The people that work here are sales employees which means if you go in there looking for a bed they will tell you that a nice samsung french door refrigerator would accent your new bed haha. No but they are great. I have done 2 contracts with them. Both times i got 1 year same as cash so the no interest was nice. The process was slightly painful the 2nd time but thats cause i forgot i had to sign more papers than when i bought my car haha. Its not a all day process but give it a couple hours. Two words: Racial Profiling My mother and I, two African American women, went inside Conns on a Saturday afternoon to see if they had a specific type of living room furniture we've been looking for. Upon entering the practically empty store (save the other associate behind the desk) a tall male Caucasian employee approached us and upon being asked about said furniture, he sharply and quite rudely answered " No! Big lots, pier one, or curaçao"! We were taken aback by his response but ignored it as we stated that we were going to have a look around anyway. My mother and I were not in there long. We checked out what LR furniture they had and looked at some flat screen TV prices. TELL ME WHY this gentleman felt the need to slowly follow us around this store! No, he was not looking to see if we needed help because when we inquired about the products we were viewing, he just said very little and stared at us in cold silence. No matter where we stepped he was slowly but definitely on our heels so uncomfortably close, we just had to leave the store. And yes, he followed us RIGHT to the door. I don't know who that employee was but it's because of him that I will make sure that my myself my mother or any of my friends never step foot in there again. We actually found something we liked but had it not been for him, we would have bought it so...there goes your business. I'm not sure if he thought we were planning on stealing something from them, but honestly how in the HELL are we going to steal a whole goddamn TV or living room set? Dummy! read more

Do not shop here your better off at Wal-Mart and that's saying something. I received a letter in the mail inviting me to to apply for a line of credit with the company, I was approved for a $3000 credit limit with no money down all i needed was a drivers license and the print out. A store associate called me within the hour to invite me down to the store to shop, they verified the amount and paper work for me that I needed. I drove down on a Saturday morning with my approval paper work, me the wife, and kids picked out a TV we liked, and so we started the finalization process when the computer for the credit amount changes, I spent 3 horrid hours in this store wile the employee tried to straiten out the credit issue it was not the stores fault they fought for me, but the credit office was unbearable and unprofessional on a level that can only be described as gross negligence and blatant incompetence the call center rep was rude aggressive, and should not be in her line of work if she is not a people person. I was told as the customer what my paper work says is not relevant, and not valid and will not be honored. I quote " If I don't like that answer I can take my business, and shove off, to take my business else where." I have never been treated so badly by a company who reached out to me in the first place for credit i didn't go looking for them, they reached out to me to try and gain a customer it makes wonder if they treat all their customers this way and if they do how are they still in business i wont be going back and I'm going to take mine as well as my family's business else where in the future. read more

My husband & I purchased a suite of LG appliances from Conn's. After owning the appliances the dishwasher started to make a very irritating squealing sound while dishwasher operating. The dishes were NOT clean after cycle. I called LG company to fix the dishwasher. I spoke to the LG representative and he told me to take off the kick panel. I informed I can't get on my knees and take off. The representative finally told me would have someone call me to schedule an appointment to fix the dishwasher. It took a week I received a call from R&R Electronics @ 10710 E. Apache Trail, Apache Junction. They arrived 2hours late and had our address incorrect. When the two men wearing t-shirts and shorts no name of company on their truck or their shirts. I was so taken back by the way they didn't even say they were sorry for being late arriving. They turned on the dishwasher and ask questions of what was the problem with the dishwasher. I told them as I told the LG & R&R's representative what sound it makes and it doesn't wash the dishes. They told me they have to order a part and that R&R Appliances will call when the part get in and they will schedule another appointment to come out to fix it it's been three weeks and I have not had the dish washer fixed. I called Conn's after telling two different employees they said they could do anything. So now nothing has been done and I have a LG dishwasher that is only four months and it doesn't work without cleaning the dishes and makes a squealing sound while it operates. Conn's sucks at customer service and LG sucks at fixing the product I bought. R&R Electronics suck at calling the customer back with up dates as to when the part will be available to come to my home repair the dishwasher. They all let me down!!!! I will never Buy Another LG appliance ever again. read more
