This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

Looked at my chair said yep, there's a problem and we'll order parts. Then I get an email not a call, pretty sad, saying it was a non warrantable issue. The next conversation was even MORE UNBELIEVABLE! Went something like just continue using it until it completely breaks! WHAT!?!? Ok well tonight I go to get up and it won't go "down" or whatever the opposite of recline is. It won't go. I'm now smelling burning wiring. Yes I know what that smells like. I am still stuck. My wife unplugged it. I had to climb out of it on the side. Doing this I hurt my back now. I just had a hip replaced a little over two months ago. I tipped it up. Sure enough burned wires. That's cute! What a piece of junk! NOW WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? More jerkin me around? I think not! I am demanding a Living Spaces top level manager call me ASAP with a resolution in hand. That isn't the end of this story. When we bought the two chairs we bought couch or a loveseat or whatever you want to call it. It's two pieces. One half was back ordered. It took about four months to get it. Multiple visits to the store and calls etc. it finally arrived. It does not match at all! Color is off. Cushions don't line up. This was a horrible waste of $5000 of my money! And there is absolutely no customer service or support to be seen. Now I have an inoperable chair that the seat cushion is still sagging, an injured back, and almost a fire inside my home. Let that sit in the picture your mind can surely see. An old man trapped in a chair he can't get out of that is also on fire. You think I'm mad? You're darn right! And yall need to make this whole mess right. Don't email me. Don't text me. Call me. A very upset, disappointed, mad former customer.

The store was actually oddly quiet, usually many have some kind of music, but supposedly a manager is nursing a headache and no music anymore. Though that weirdness doesn't stop there, the soda is always talked about being quite extensive, but if that were the case, it looks like booze took over half of what cpuld been drinks overall. They had some weird options, but most were basically available in other stores. At least there was some candies that are a bit more exclusive to the store, so picked up a couple bags. We went home with measurements to make sure it would work and contacted the company to confirm our purchase and choose an epoxy color and leg style (which is hand forged iron if I'm correctly remembering the terminology). I said I wanted purple that was opaque but not too light. Mario knew exactly what I meant! They crafted a beautiful piece that is commented on and admired by everyone (from family to handymen!) that enters our home.
