The furniture, art, and other decorative pieces were gorgeous and priced really well. There were some unique finds that you probably wouldn't look for but would be glad you stumbled upon and lots of classic pieces too. I became obsessed with a couple of items but wanted to measure before making a purchase. Steve happily provided his card in case things worked out. If somebody told me they needed a credenza or buffet, I would recommend Nadeau first. I'm not entirely sure where they source these pieces from, but they're a perfect combination of sturdy, well-made, and surprisingly lightweight. I have a beautiful painted black side table from here that I've loved for years and has held up beautifully. No scratches or anything. I like to swing on through anytime I'm in Homewood. Prices range from about $200 to $1,000+, usually just depending on the scale of the piece. I nearly took home a large, tall wardrobe style cabinet. Even if there were a handful of customers, you would be able to enjoy your shopping. The associate was very friendly and let me look around at my own leisure, unlike most sales associates can be. I think you have to both be in the mood/frame-of-mind to really look at everything and have the time to do it. You could very easily spend all day there. "Just browsing" isn't going to cut it. That said, I had neither the time nor the inclination to spend the time to really give it a good shopping. Instead I found it overwhelming, so I just politely walked most of the aisles only looking at the things that really jumped out at me. Because it was a Saturday, there seemed to be a number of vendors there, so I'm sure there are some interesting stories to be told, and they could surely help if you're searching from something specific.
