On the date of my purchase I was told that my delivery date was 8/13/22, not only by the salesperson, but the mgr as well. I was told you will receive a call that morning to confirm a window. Come the morning of 8/13, I had not heard anything so I decided to call... Mr. Thomas your delivery is not scheduled until the 20th! They never should have told you the 13th because they're only in your area every two weeks! It would have been nice if someone would have relayed this to me prior to giving my old furniture away. I went to the store on Independence Blvd. The manager Latreese was very rude. She acted as though she did not want to be bothered. Instead of her saying "can I help you", she said nothing and gave me a look of distain. I have never had this level of poor customer service. Her attitude was horrible. I needed needed a balance, because the prior person put the money on the wrong account, which they do often. She was not helpful at all. I asked to speak to someone above her, but I believe it would do no good. Companies seem desperate to hire anyone these days, even people who cleary do not want to work. read more

My first time in Conns. Let me state my main reason for coming to this location was the customer service . The young salesman made it a priority to keep in touch via phone and text, letting us know he would be working so he could meet us. I was impressed with his knowledge of the televisions , we initially went in to purchase a Samsung but settled on the LG . I asked the sales associate where Cons originated and he stated they are mostly known on the west coast . I think I prefer coming here than Best buy bc there attention to customer needs is definitely priority. I went in to look at couches again, and I asked for a manager. All I said was "Hi, I'm a marketing manager and I was wondering" before I was cut off with a very rude and incredulous "Are you soliciting?!" I was so caught off guard by the unexpected rudeness I asked "what?" rhetorically, and was replied with "Are you soliciting your services?!" I informed him I was trying to by a couch but not anymore from this place. Shame, because it's closer to my house than Ikea but whatever. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this store. I pre-qualified myself on their site and printed out the confirmation. I then checked their website and found the refrigerator I needed and wrote down the product number. The following day I went to the store and was immediately met by a salesperson. who was very attentive to my needs. I also found a flat screen TV tgat I wanted, He wrote everything up and gave me a delivery date. I chose to take the TV with me and that was not an issue. The refrigerator wad delivered and set up on a timely basis. Who could ask for more? read more

We purchased a Samsung curved 65 inch tv over a year ago. At the time of the purchase conn's sold us the extended warranty. As soon as we brought the TV home we found that the new device was shutting off on its own as often as 3 to 4 times per hour. My family enjoys watching movies and I'm sure you can imagine the inconvenience of having to turn the TV back on and miss a scene. After so much hassle going through conn's customer service and numerous repair attempts, they finally agreed to replace the item. Well, the new tv is doing the same thing, cutting off! After the repair technicians tried and replaced some parts, the tv still has the same problem. The tech asks us to record it when it happens. So we recorded two different videos which apparently are not sufficient enough to be able to see the red power light. Not to mention, the tv shut off even in the technician's presence. We paid a lot of money for this device and never in my whole life did we have any issues with any Samsung products which is why we keep buying Samsung. I'm not sure that we will after this experience. We've dealt with this for over a year and still having to make payments. I am not certain who's at fault conn's or Samsung but come on, in this time and day you've gotta take care of your loyal, paying customers! Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. read more

My wife was here for around 30 minutes trying recliners and recliners and not a soul offered to help. This was on Friday 9/1. The employees were hanging around and laughing having a coffee break and just shooting the bull. She complained to the manager and he begged her to stay. She called me and told me to write this review. No my wife cannot walk too well and needs help at times so she could not be missed. They need to rename this place Con. I have had nothing but a headache from dealing with this store. First, when I placed my order it took them 2 hours to input my order into the computer because there system was down. I ordered a refrigerator among other appliances and a table. I told the rep when I ordered the Fridge that we did not have a water line for the ice machine. He told me they offered an instillation service for 150.00 (this is incorrect). 3 days later when they came to deliver my products I was told they do not install water lines. I was told to refuse the fridge and they would hold it for me for a later delivery date once I installed the water line myself since they made a mistake. Instead they cancelled the order all together for the fridge. 2 days later when we had the water line installed and I called to get my fridge delivered I was told it was cancelled and I would have to go into the store to reorder it. Went into the store and they told me now they needed to charge me another delivery fee for the fridge. Obviously I was furious because this was completely their fault. I was also told when I signed up for a GE credit union card I could get all my purchases for 0% for 36 months. This was also not correct information. It was only on the first purchase and since they made a mistake and cancelled part of my first order I had to do a second order, which is now getting charged a 19% interest rate. I filed a customer complaint with the company and never heard anything back. I asked the management at the store to have the district manager call me so I could speak with him about the issue, that also never happened. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I could not say this with any more emphasis: Avoid this place at all cost! read more

This company makes it really difficult to purchase items for family in other city's and states. I'm a long haul trucker. Conn had me go into a store in Las Vegas to order for my elderly parents. Then could not do delivery because my parents live in NC. So I faxed pick up form to my dad and he Went To their warehouse to get the items. They would not let him have due to form not being original. I have to drive all the way from California to bring him the Form. The nc store was no help with this. Conns customer service is great but sales and warehouse are not customer orintinted. read more

Yes I got a approval with conn'smy sister recommended the store because she lives in Arizona and she purchased an appliance so I told her I didn't know of any store like that so I looked up conn's home plus store so they called me a few times and I expressed to them that I lived in Wilmington North Carolina in the lady said will that's good we will we can deliver in Wilmington again I told her well I don't know if I can come up there because right now I'm the closest store they tell me is Fayetteville so I made my way up there all day excited and thinking that the things that I had purchased was OK and then when it came time for me to have it delivered they tell me that they don't deliver in Wilmington when I was told that they do they have nice things and so I called several managers about the matter and I said well we're sorry but inconvenience we can't deliver in Wilmington but you can go to Charlotte North Carolina pick up what you have ordered and so to me that's kind of a bummer because I would have to rent a truck pay for gas stay the night with us all day trip to me and so I was told to call and ask very nice young lady gave me all the information to ask if they can make an exception for me to deliver what I have ordered from conn's Home plus so they have given me some time to get to Charlotte to pick up what I have ordered but if I can't get it I need to call them to let them know that I'm on able to get to Charlotte North Carolina for the things that I have purchased but in order to have a customer it seem like they would they would make an exception because this way you lose a customer in by word-of-mouth you would want more customers to come and shop in your store but if you can't accommodate your customers and you will lose customers what the workers are very kind very professional and I would love to deal with this company but if I can't will be able to get my things that I order a purchase delivered by their delivery service then it is useless because each time he would have to rent a truck get somebody to drive it put in gas so either you want customers to come and shop it's your place of business or you don't so I am going to try to get to Charlotte to get what I purchased because there are needs and what I have ordered from this company and it was a very good price that I got them for so in order to see what's going to happen I'm going to follow through and if I can't make it then I have just lost A customer but I really wish they would reconsider and delivering the items that I have chosen read more

I went to Conn's because my daughter had purchased a sofa and loveseat from them and she was very pleased with the customer service in the store and the men who delivered it were very professional. I also purchased a sofa and loveseat. The paperwork is done on a small tablet which means you can not read what you are signing. After everything was signed they printed out all the pages and gave them to me. I signed them on October 6 and the furniture was to be delivered on October 10th. My daughter was with me and she ask for prices on a washer and dryer. To give her the prices they went through all the steps and she signed the papers telling the lady, again, that she did not know if she would be able to get it and was told that she could call back before 6:00 and cancel it. She called them back at 4:00 and cancelled the order. On October 9th, I received a call for confirmation of delivery for my daughter. I then called their delivery department and was told my delivery was on hold but my daughter's was ready for delivery. I explained that my daughter had cancelled her order on the same day she was in the store. They put a hold on her delivery and switched my delivery to the 10th. About 30 minutes later I received a call from the salesman that had spoken with me three times on the phone prior to my going to the store and he told me that someone had come and bought the couch and gone to the warehouse and picked it up the day before and they didn't have another couch but they would have another couch on November 10th. I told him to cancel the order and he told me I would have to go in the store to cancel it. I told him I did not drive to Charlotte and didn't know when I could get a ride but I assured him that since the furniture was not delivered I had no intention to pay for it. Then I sat down and started going over the paperwork I had brought home and it shows on the invoice expected delivery date 11/14/17. This did not show on the tablet they had me signing on. They knew they did not have the couch that day but they still said they would deliver it on the 10th. Yes, I was stupid to not check every word on the papers I signed but the lady I was working with gave me no reason not to trust everything she said. Had I known they didn't have the couch I wanted I would probably have chosen another one or that one in a different color but instead I was lied to. I see no reason to go back to the store to cancel my order because I am sure they would try to get me to make another selection but I do not trust them. read more
