I saw Dr. Dang January 2025 for a root canal and had a very positive experience. He's so gentle and so kind. Terrific bedside manner. His assistant was lovely as well. But what really got me was later that day he called just to make sure everything was OK. I couldn't believe it! Zero pain during the procedure. The office staff is fantastic too. Have to leave a review even though I'll never be back. (I hope so, who WANTS to go to the dentist willingly?) Anyways I had a giant un-popping pimple like bump on my gum near one of my molar treat. Went to ER and they said get to a dentist ASAP. After fighting my way with my regular dentist they referred me to Dr. Dang. At the consultation, Dr. Dang put the explanation in very easy to understand terms for me. Thank goodness because sometimes medical professionals use medical terms normal people don't use. Like why confuse people and say calculus buildup and not plaque buildup..? Last I checked calculus is an advanced high school math courses. Whateves.. I think they said Dr. Dang's office is the only one that has a CAT scan. (Or MRI, some sort of scan that shows the full 3D image of the tooth.) They said with the scan it's easier to find the root of the problem. (In my case the root canal.) The scan is not covered by insurance so I paid $260-ish but whatever it takes to get the pimple like thing down. Then on the day of treatment they have all sorts of cool stuff to keep the surgery comfortable. They out in a mouth guard so I didn't have to fight and keep my mouth open the whole time. His assistant was on standby to suck the saliva out whenever I asked and Dr. Dang helped massage my jaw after, which helped because it was sore after 1.5 hours. The service also didn't stop there, he called at the end of the day for follow up to ensure there were no issues and every time I call their office for paperwork they're always fast to assist. Seriously hope I never have to go back to a specialized dentist but if I do, I'd choose here. read more

Wow. This was an emergency visit and thankfully Dr Dang was able to squeeze me in. I had seen my regular dentist one week ago and received a new crown but knew something was off but waited per that dentist. One week later I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. Dr Dang and his team of professionals were truly next level amazing. He explained what was to be a root canal. I had one done years back but he took me step by step through the operation. He was incredibly reassuring and very careful. He reminded me to breathe and we got this. After two hours he was done - I went home and 4 hours later he called to check up on me Dr Dang truly is THE BEST dentist or for that matter doctor I've been lucky enough to treat me. I was nervous since it was my first time getting an emergency root canal done. First time at Dr Dang's office, and the service I received from him and his assistant Lisa was exceptional. He was so gentle, and thorough and explained every little step of what he was going to do. He also used the latest technology so my root canal was painless. I also got a callback from him in the evening to see how I was feeling. The best bedside manners. None of my other dentists ever did that. I Wish he did general dentistry, I'd see him more often. I hope I don't have to come here again, but if I do I'm definitely seeing Dr Dang again. read more

I had severe tooth pain in my back molar and I knew it was a root canal because of the filling I had was super close to the root! I was in so so much pain and come over from Lana'i by Boat ferry. Dr Dangs office took me in the next day! I have to say that he is one of the best dentist I have ever been to!!!! He did my root canal and was super professional, efficient and very caring g and tentative to the comfort of the state I was in! I'm in no pain now and very happy on his work!
