It was my night to cook, so I decided to let Low Country Affair take care of it--and I'm so glad I did! They handled everything from preparing the meal at the house to cleaning up afterward, making the entire evening completely stress-free. The seafood boil was absolutely fantastic. The crab legs are a must--they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The peach cobbler was phenomenal, and I loved hearing that it was made fresh the morning of our event using peaches from a local farmer. That attention to quality really stood out. They also made sure our non-seafood eaters were taken care of with delicious chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. The team served the traditional Lowcountry boil by pouring it out onto butcher paper covering our long dining room tables. It was such a fun, interactive, and memorable experience. The staff were credibly friendly and made the entire evening so enjoyable. It was Southern hospitality at its finest. If you are already attending something at the convention center, the memorial is almost effortless to reach because it is right there in the flow of foot traffic, but if you are just passing through as I was, the approach can feel a little uncertain since the building is large, the parking lots are busy, and the smaller features around the entrance tend to get swallowed by the scale of the place in a way that makes you wonder if you missed a turn even when you have not. The trick is to look for the Apollo footsteps artwork first. It is playful and eye catching, and once you pass it, the memorial comes into view as a concrete structure set slightly out from the entrance. It is simple and unadorned, a block engraved with the names of the delegates who signed the Constitution, and the lack of theatrics gives it a kind of steady dignity that works well in a city better known for beaches and boardwalks than for eighteenth century history, and that contrast makes the stop feel even more grounded. As a quick visit, it does exactly what it needs to do. You can pause, read the names, and appreciate the way Myrtle Beach has tucked a piece of the country's founding story into a modern convention corridor. It is not the sort of place you build an itinerary around, but it is a worthwhile moment if you are nearby, especially if you enjoy finding these quieter historical markers woven into the everyday landscape. Very clean and friendly front desk. We did not go to pool area, too many kids. Location was great. Has several places to eat next to it. Great places to get a drink in the evening. You can walk straight onto beach next to pier, no steps. The hotel has a access but old wooden steps with grass around it to use. Would be great to make a ramp instead. Parking good on both sides of hotel. Most of rooms have a ocean view balcony. Elevator on ground floor to check in on 2nd floor. A few vending things and nice sitting area. Negative was they opened up a drain into the ocean after it had rained. So it made it hard to walk the beach. I had never seen this at another beach. They dug trenches down into sand. Definitely spoiled the beach vibe.
