I have received nothing but top-notch, expert care from my GI doctor at CT GI. My doctor handles…read moreextraordinarily complex cases and he is proficient, excellent at what he does, and I am very happy with the care that I've received from him. A+++ I will admit that it sometimes takes time to get through, but every single message that I've sent to him (or staff) through the portal gets promptly answered. Staff have worked diligently with insurance companies to cover meds, etc.

I had no idea CT-GI is now part of Hartford Hospital healthcare…read more I never would have made the appointment. I have replaced GABAPENTIN with a medical mj capsule that was recommended by the dispensary PHARMACIST. Stephanie has been trained to call it "street drugs." I find that totally ignorant because, I was referred to the DCP medical marijuana program by a WC attorney. It's a state program as is WC. I'm reimbursed by Gallagher Bassett, I had (5) RME's approve it, and this bully of a hospital is deciding it's "street drugs," without any evidence. I am in a pain management office that does urine screening for actual "street drugs," and they haven't kicked me out, because the tests revealed, I don't use any "street drugs." That's how it's decided, Stephanie. Hartford Hospital is vindictive and inappropriate. I'll be returning to St Francis and Dr. Hoffman. They're aware and they take no issues with a safer choice than GABAPENTIN. Plus, nobody in this Vernon office knows anything about myelomalacia, so why would they think they can help me? PS: If you don't click on "save my Cc info for future visits", the co-pay from my CC wouldn't submit. No other healthcare office, on-line check in, does that.

I seem to be reliving the same issue with this group. Three…read moreyears ago I saw a doctor here, prostate exam. All seemed fine as I heard. Fast forward I upon referral from a general practitioner am referred back to this office for concern of possible enlarged prostate. Able to schedule an appointment relatively quick, I was surprised at that. On my scheduled appointment date. I'm seeing the same doctor I saw three years prior. He starts our visit with. "We never received your PSA results ". I responded my what? He states he requested a PSA test, wouldn't you think. If a doctor makes a request of a patient and the results never come in. That doctor would make contact with the patient? And now said doctor has retired and it's been over a month that I've been waiting for replacement doctor to receive a follow up appointment. This group isn't quick with replacement of retired doctors not communicating with patients with concerns of their health care.

I was referred to a physician in the group by my primary care doctor. I was experiencing a flare up…read moreof an existing condition and called to make an appointment. As the physician I had been referred to didn't have any available appointments prior to the upcoming holidays, the office staff suggested that they could get me in to see another doctor in the practice. What they did NOT tell me was that I would be barred from seeing any other doctors in the practice in the future. When I called to schedule a follow up with the physician to whom I'd been referred, I was told that office policy did not allow a change to another doctor in the practice. Odd policy. No explanation. I left a message with an administrative supervisor questioning the policy but have not received a response. I will not be a returning patient if I'm unable to choose the doctor I see.
