Connected is the top spot for fine dining in Peoria. Yes, it isn't cheap, but the high quality of the food, the service, and the atmosphere is worth it. This may be more of a special occasion type of spot, but it will make that occasion so much better. Everything from the starters to desert is crafted with such care and meticulous effort. The drink options are great with several delicious cocktails on the menu, which are fairly boozy. 10/10 recommend trying this place at least once! read more

As you step into this restaurant you'll notice the majority of the customers in business casual attire. It seems it's a popular dinner place for people to discuss work-related topics or for family and friends to celebrate a special occasion. The service was nice, our waitress was patient with us and did a great job with the food and drink description. I came here as a date night with someone special, and the waitress brought me a rose to celebrate after the bill which I thought was lovely! My husband and I made reservations for a date night. So glad we did because it was a packed restaurant on a Saturday night. We waited only a few minutes before being seated. Then promptly attended to with drink menus. The service was outstanding even in a crowded restaurant, (I was impressed because it seems every place is short staffed post COVID) The food was exceptional. Seriously, amazing. The bread comes with a fresh creamy sauce for dipping. It's was so tasty I made the mistake of eating multiple pieces of bread which took up vital real estate. My hubby ordered the Delmonico steak entree that came with au gratin potatoes. His steak was cooked perfectly. The seasoning was spot on and you could tasty that it was cooked over fire. His potatoes were mind blowing. The depth garlic herb flavor was impressive in this creamy, buttery dish. It's been 24 hrs and I'm still wishing I could get more of those potatoes! I ordered the chicken Quattro Fromagio which was essentially the best, cheesiest chicken parmigiana I have ever encountered. The sauce was chunky and plentiful. The entree was substantially sized as well. I took more than half home. I also ordered a side of the rigatoni pasta on the menu to go with my entree. That was a wise decision. Ok, reasonable expectations, it's a nicely refurbished commercial building in a Walmart parking lot. Overall the food was excellent. Where we were seated we had about 10 staff members constantly circling and sometimes bumping the table, so it was dark, loud and NOT peaceful. The cocktails we OVER sweet. There were little things like: one person's hot appetizer came out 5 min before the others so they had to eat alone or it would get cold; When they brought out the hot food they served the gentleman before the ladies, the chicken masala to too tough to cut or chew and 3/4 went in the trash with the bus boy. You need to know it is expensive. Our bill was $450 for 4 adults with 1 round of appetizers and cocktails, 1 bottle of wine with dinner, and coffee with desserts. All that being said, overall, the food was very good. read more

Great food and service! We drove down to Peoria on a whim and found this gem. It was a Saturday night and they were very busy but that did not hinder their service. Since we did not have a reservation we sat at the bar and saw how the waitstaff skillfully handled the craziness of the evening. Don't let the location fool you, it has great food and you wouldn't want to miss out! I had a lemon basil martini and it was delicious. I also had their wild boar and I was very pleasantly pleased. To be fair, this is more like a 3.75. Let's start at the beginning of the story how I ended up eating a meal at the "nicest restaurant in Peoria" that is located in a WalMart parking lot. My mother in law wanted to celebrate her 45th wedding anniversary at the nicest place in Peoria. Apparently, her and my father in law have been patrons in this establishment twice. The first time was a wonderful experience for them, the second was a significantly less pleasurable experience. So, I guess they thought - third time's the charm, huh? Linens on the tables, linen napkins and two forks on the table - so this is Peoria's line on fancy, I guess. We arrived with WalMart in the background and entered through the front door. There was a 10 year old girl coat checking. She was polite, but couldn't quite reach the top hangers. I'm not sure how I feel about this - free labor is awesome to a small business, but child labor is less attractive. We were sat and greeted by an older, smaller gentleman in an ill-fitting tux. He introduced himself and told us he had a partner (waitstaff not life). He was what we call in the business, a close talker. This is not something that my father in law appreciated. We did sit for a hot minute to get menus; wine or otherwise. Not a ton of options, but that shows to me that the kitchen wants to focus on each dish and make it amazing. So...the food didn't taste bad. It was average and not worth the price. Also, the presentation wasn't at all delectable or even 2010 instagrammable. They did a bunch of things a more mature audience would love, a huge pepper grinder (literally like 4ft long), sparklers on desserts, writing "happy anniversary" on dessert plates with chocolate. I mean, I get it. You have a target demographic. Also, even though your mother in law tells you this is "the nicest restaurant in Peoria" please, do not let that fool you. I saw more white tennis shoes and acid wash straight leg jeans in the two hours I spent in the dining room than a whole summer in Orlando. I wasted spanx, a designer LBD and heels in winter. Other reviewers have talked about the sticker shock of the final bill. I didn't get that. Although it is a la carte, and I felt the entrees were a tad not worth it, I never once felt cheated on the experience. With that being said, I would dine here again. Our main server (Ryan, I think - NOT the close talker) was fantastic. I would probs sit at the bar, but I wouldn't say no to another invite. read more

Very few places do I order fish. Even the places known to be great for fish, I steer clear. The special was sea bass and I love it. Ordered it and it was divine! Cocktails are unique and great! If you're celebrating something be sure to tell them. If you order dessert it comes with a special surprise if you're celebrating something! My second time here with my parents celebrating my dads 65th birthday. I love my ravioli it was delicious!! The salad was good but strong caesary taste. The wine was my favorite it was super light and delicious! My mom had the sea bass with garlic risotto she loved it! My dad had the special 16oz ribeye and it was okay. He said he asked for medium and his was alittle medium well but he was fine with it. I had gotten the ravioli because I was already full from appetizer which was a bolognese? Cheese Tortellini with cinnamon flavored pasta sauce. They have 3 banquet rooms that are very nice and a heated front patio with a nice creek and light's very beautiful!! If you want to go for a special evening, be prepared to pay big bucks. Over priced for what you receive. $10 for a hand full of lettuce, they call this a salad? It must have been the three raspberries which justified the price? $129.99/bottle of wine, but you can buy the same bottle for $40 at your favorite liquor store. $18.99 for three large shrimp! My $50 steak was prepared and cooked to my liking, and it was very tasty. Upon leaving, it was a helter skelter getting our coats and making our way through the crowd of folks waiting to be seated. Best Creme Brulee I have ever had! Nice selection of delicious things to choose from with some of the most enjoyable and professional help I have ever encountered. I had a really fun enjoyable and relaxing meal. Superior bar with a very talented bar tender who makes the sangria herself and a super martini. The dip for the bread was a really nice touch as was the lemon digestive shot at end of the meal. I love Creme Brulee and have eaten it more places then I can count but their "homemade secret recipe" produced the best I have ever had by far. This review is for the bartender working the evening of 9/1. Our waitress was fantastic, the food was solid, but any restaurant is only as strong as their weakest link. I ordered two 'old fashioneds' for dinner, however my second one tasted way off, like it was just watered down whiskey and ice. I had my friend taste it who has been to this restaurant many times and he agreed it was off and recommended I ask for another. I politely approached the bartender who seemed quite bothered by me questioning her drink. I told her it tasted completely different than the one I had twenty minutes prior. She then sarcastically repeated back to me 'twenty minutes'? When I came back for the drink, she made sure to condescendingly tell me that she 'made it the exact same as the first one, and that I probably let the first one sit out too long which was why it was watered down'. The replacement drink she gave me tasted exactly how it should, which confirmed that she botched the drink she served me previously. The fact that the drink was messed up is insignificant to me - people make mistakes and I very rarely complain about anything at restaurants. The complete lack of professionalism, overt hostility and arrogance of a bartender who messed up a drink and then proceeded to treat me like shit over it, however, is completely inexcusable and has ensured that my family will not return to this establishment. read more

So if I was just rating the food, I would have to give it a 5 star; however I can't do that when we waited 5 months to have a 'date night' because of the pandemic. To start, half of the wait staff did not wear a mask (including ours), within 15 min of arrival the place was packed and a lady at the table right next to us, kept coughing the entire time she was there and either didn't cover her mouth (she coughed over her shoulder - right at me, or semi attempted to cover her mouth. When I am in Peoria I have to come to this place! The service is impeccable! Last night I had 2 servers that couldn't do enough for my daughter and I. This spacious restaurant has beautiful water features that make you feel like you are in Italy. The food is classy, delicious and worth every penny! The veal limone I could cut with a fork and the eggplant parmigiana was so cheesy. Fresh ground pepper and parmigiana cheese was offered at each course by the server. Celebrated my birthday here again. This time I was a little disappointed at the service. Our waitress seemed almost mean like she was being put out. She didn't explain that the sparkler dessert came with the meal, so when she asked about dessert I said I would like some. She rudely said "Do you want dessert or just the cannoli" leaving me confused and feeling dumb. She stormed off, was slow to bring our plates and just was cold throughout the meal. The service was good however I was hoping they would have a chef that would accommodate food allergies. Most local owned small places will. Very few selections available for dairy gluten allergy. We had to ask for them to make the mushroom salad dairy free. Instead of just letting us know they could accommodate they instead made sure that if we came again they may not be able to do that. I just wanted more. I did like the wild boar meal for myself and the mushroom salad. The atmosphere and street-like decor was odd. I would probably go back and have a drink in the bar but not back to eat when only 2 selections on the menu for allergies. read more

well it was a reservation and it was a very cold evening we were seated at a patio spot very cold out there they had other warmer dining areas . it was a bday celebration for a dear friend . we asked to be moved more inside away from the doors opening. they weren't to happy to do that. then we get moved to in front of a waiter station lotta traffic . cold breezes again I don't even think the heat was on. it was 15 with the wind chill so yea not fun in a cold restaurant on a day to be a celebration of a Mike stone birthday. the food appetizers weren't very warm even . which is ridiculous you order hot food it should be hot. didn't give us adequate time to get into that then salads came on top then entree shortly after . like we were being hurried out. no refills on water at all friends tea glass was taken and not returned had to ask 2 more ppl and a busier where the tea went to china? then was asked about dessert get dessert they are using firework like sparklers smelly smoke everywhere like all the tables had bdays and anniversary things going. the dessert wasn't told was a complementary item so after a $106 or more each bill that was a shock . in the past it was complimentary. the eggplant was so greasy the bag they put leftovers in was soaked and got on my car seat on way home . over all the flavors were good but lacked in presentaction with the olive oil overload. I've been going therefor yrs this was my worse experience to date. my friends weren't impressed at all and they were so excited to go for the first time.not sure I'll go back or at least not for a long time . oh well asked for more bread they said they were out yet other large party tables had many extra baskets full seemed really odd . the floor manager never came around asking how things were going either . I think it's Jack of training . I was in the business as a chef caterer for over 45 yrs . if we treated a guest this way we wouldn't have customers the next day week or at all . and those ppl wouldn't have a job either.
