I have been taking my two Hondas to Conicelli for servicing for nearly 10 years. I bought one of the vehicles new from Conicelli. I recently took my CRV to Conicelli for state inspection and they failed it because I have tiny on the windshield that is an inch below the "legal limit". I have had tint for the past 6 years and they have inspected the same car every year since without a problem. They claim the law changed 6 months ago; however, the change is not found anywhere. The service manager claims it was a bulletin sent to the techs there by the state. I asked for a copy, but it can't be produced. The service manager who is responsible for the techs said he's not an inspector so he doesn't have a copy. I showed the tinting to an olive officer and he said there is no way they would cite me for a violation. What a way to end a business relationship including purchasing a new Honda, serving and all of the upselling I purchased over the years. read more

In 6/23 I purchased an Accord Sport hybrid and paid cash. I loved that car and thought I got a decent deal at Comicelli. All of my service interactions with the dealership were good, including two body shop repairs, so why the negative review? At the time of purchase the finance manager touted the Comicelli Premier Protection plan which offered 5 year coverage for tire, wheel, rim dent repair, windshield and appearance protection and key replacement. I bought this plan at 5 years for $1000. I expected to keep this plan for its entire duration. Howeve, on 1/19/26 my car was stolen in front of my home and eventually declared a total loss by my insurance company. The instructions on the Comicelli Protection Plan listed the phone number of the Service Department as the place to direct my call in the event that my car was stolen. I called them at least 7 times and also intended to purchase another vehicle from Comicelli, but my calls went unanswered. Several weeks ago I made an in person visit to inquire about this and after a wait in the customer area I was told that I would need to speak to the finance manager about this, but that she was in a meeting at another location. I was given her direction number to call her the following day. That call too went unanswered. By this time it was obvious that they were blowing me off. I called Safe-Guard and submitted my cancelation and refund request and was informed that the small print in the contract stated that the policy was non refundable. This despite the fact that the car was stolen and I had no control over this. In other words L was screwed and out the remaining balance of half the contract cost. I usually read contracts carefully but find it despicable that Comicelli would promote such a product without going into detail about such a potential occurrence. It seems that they are happy to take your money but when you need their support, you are suddenly a stranger to them My advice to potential customers: RUN! read more

I had visited another Honda dealership just five minutes from my house, and it wasn't a pleasant experience at all--rushed, impersonal, and honestly discouraging. I left feeling frustrated and decided to take a chance by driving 30 minutes to Conicelli Honda instead. I'm so glad I did. I originally went just to test the waters. I knew I'd need a new car soon, but I didn't plan on buying anything that day. Right away, some of the salesmen were what I expected--pushy and sales-driven, the kind of experience most people dread at a dealership. Then I met David Cobb, and everything changed. Dave was exceptional. He was patient, professional, and kind. He didn't pressure me at all--he made me feel completely at ease and truly listened to what I wanted. While we were out on the test drive, I even told him, "Even if I don't buy a car today, when I do, it'll be from you." I meant it, not realizing that "when" would turn out to be that same day. Coming from a 2003 Honda, the new technology felt overwhelming at first--push-to-start, backup camera, and other modern features I wasn't used to. But Dave was incredibly patient. He never made me feel silly for asking questions, no matter how small they were. He walked me through everything, answered every question with a smile, and even took the time to help me practice using the backup camera until I felt completely comfortable. That kind of support made all the difference. As I sat at Dave's desk while he stepped away to talk to his managers and run some numbers, I overheard other salesmen speaking with their customers. I honestly thought to myself, If I had gotten one of them, I probably would've just walked out. I was beyond grateful I had Dave. He made the entire process feel calm, respectful, and easy. If more car salespeople were like Dave, dealerships would sell a lot more cars. He completely changed my experience for the better. I bought a 2025 Honda in January 2025. I paid cash for the vehicle. It was processed improperly as Honda holding the title. For the last six months, I've tried with zero luck to get anybody at that dealership to get me the right title. I've been given the runaround, false information, or I've just been ignored. They said they've been contacting the New Jersey motor vehicles. I asked for that correspondence. They refused to give it to me. I don't believe it happened. Well unfortunately I had a car accident with my Honda Crv. The auto body shop gets their parts from Conicelli Honda. First they send a damaged bumper,then they send the wrong bumper and finally they send the right one. This puts my repair off a week. When I expected to pick up my car I find out that they sent two right hood hinges. Meanwhile the insurance on my rental has run out and I will have to pay out of pocket for my rental now. The service department needs to work on professionalism and transparency. I just purchased a vehicle back in 2024 and was committed to getting it serviced at the Honda dealership. I decided to take it to this particular Honda dealership to get an oil change. I called a couple days prior and asked if I needed an appointment to get my oil changed. I was told no bring it in and the hours. I inquired about Friday and Saturday hours. Again,, I was never told I needed an appointment. I get there around 10am I pull up I was asked did I have an appointment. I explained that I called and was never told I needed an appointment. I said it was for an oil change he asked the gentleman behind the desk they said no but I was then told to come back in about 2 hours. I was in the area and decided I would come back . I was annoyed that I drove a way there but I would come back. I come back and pull up to the designated line and waited for someone to tell where to go and the service workers were down and no one asked me if I needed help. It wasn't busy and I couldn't believe that none of them said anything. I got out my car and asked if they were open. The one guy says he didn't see me. The other gentleman looked like he was laughing. I was told to pull up to the other line and if I had an appointment. I said I was told to come back in 2-3 hours. I guess they just said that thinking wouldn't return. The guy behind the desk walks out to tell Me they are busy and when to come back. I won't assume they weren't but it didn't look that way. Long story short, that left a really bad taste I my mouth for that particular dealership . I wasted my day and never got it done because I had to be somewhere and didn't have time to go to a Jiffy Lube. I was really taken back by the level of unprofessionalism. I usually just take it in without an appointment at the other dealership and I honestly never knew I needed an appointment for an oil change on the weekend.. I called it could've been an overnight that that wasn't explained.. FINE... why tell me to come back just to tell me No. I was taken a back by how rude the staff was when I pulled up and they looked at me and didn't say anything. I will never come back to this place! Buyer beware............went here on Saturday, April 6th. Customer service from sales reps were pretty decent. The lot seemed to have a fair share of used, certified and new car options. However, please do your research a pond going to ANY car dealership. The online prices are usually different from the ticket price. If you do your research, you won't get duped. If you are wanting to pay for a car out right, no financing, the manager will try his best to lure you in because they make more money from a customer going through a bank. Also, if the online car has a "Conicelli discount" you opt out of that discount because you paid out right. That's bull crap...... If you decide to get a brand new car, make sure you get a PRINT OUT of all the charges because they will charge you for an extend warranty even though the brand new car has a 5year warranty already. Supposedly, the 5yr warranty doesn't cover everything. That's bull crap...... Also, if the car has newer rims or they changed the letters on the outside of the car to make it look more appealing, you have to pay for that. Those upgrades are not in the price tag, they will appear on the print out sheet in a unnoticed amount. Why should someone pay for upgrades that they didn't ask for??????? That should already be in the price that a customer sees online. Trust me, you will go from a $30,000 car to a $40,000 within mins and not even know why if you don't ask for a print out. Chevy dealers would never do that. Good luck! read more

I'm reviewing only the service department. Take your car somewhere else. I've been taking my civic 2020 to conicelli dealership for two years. Since I drive a lot, I need routine oil change every 2-3 months. I was at the dealer for oil change and cabin air filter change in June, then mid July I had another appointment for routine oil change and I paid more money to check on the sound. I asked to check the sound for a few months and every time they said everything was ok. And they told me all I'm missing is the underbody splash shield. What???? If the dealership mechanics were the only people who worked on my car, how is it possible that a part that big can be missing??? Aren't you supposed to put it back and tighten everything? Additionally, Last week my battery died, and I took my car to autozone and pepboys. They both said the battery was bad. 10 days before that happened my car was at the dealer and multi point inspection report said every thing is good. All green check marks. Another mechanic also pointed out that I needed a new cabin air filter ( which I replaced in June) and the side of tire is torn and damaged, it's a safety concern. Nobody even told me about that at the dealer.I got a letter regarding recall on my vehicle, everyone I go for service, no one there seemed to know about the recall?? I wonder if they are really doing what they say. The worst dealership experience ever. read more

4 words: Ask for Chris Solarz. Chris primarily works at Conicelli Toyota but crossed over to help me at Conicelli Honda. He was incredibly helpful through the entire searching and buying process. This was my first car I bought on my own, and I just really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had to wait 2 months for the car to come in, and my anxiety was at an all time high as the weeks went on and the target delivery date approached. But Chris kept me informed the entire way and eased all my concerns. He was an extremely personable too - had a big smile and a nice handshake every time I came in. During the selection phase, he really stuck with me. He helped me make a confident decision between the 2 cars I was looking at - Rav4 and CRV. He was honest with me about to what extent the differences between the 2 cars would impact the driving experience. I felt like he truly cared about making experience memorable and wanted me to not only be happy with the car now, but really wanted to make sure I would still be happy with the car 10 years from now. He was always transparent with me about prices and pointed out when I was in danger of going over budget. He did everything he could to get me the best deal and I will be forever grateful for that. I didn't feel rushed or like he was trying to upsell me on anything like that. Not being heard, being talked out of what I wanted and being treated like I didn't know what I was talking about, were 3 of my worst fears when thinking about the car buying process. Working with Chris immediately eliminated all those fears and he delivered on a car that was everything I wanted and more. He also went above and beyond and really payed attention to the small details, just as much as the big ones - he stuck with me while I signed the paperwork, he found a bow to put on the car for me so that I was surprised when I got to the dealership, he saw I was a little overwhelmed by all the technology the car had (I was coming from an 2009) so he sat in the front seat and walked me though all of it - from remote start to the lines on backup camera, from setting up CarPlay and HondaLink to how to customize the lights and safety features. Even after I signed all the paper work and his job was done, he walked me down to parts & service and stayed with me while I talked to them. I mean, I just was not expecting someone to put that much effort in, but it just made the whole process that much better, and I am forever grateful for him. One last note - I also really appreciated that he didn't use unreasonable or far-fetched examples to scare me into buying a warranty - like he never used the "if a meteor crashes into earth, your car's protected under this plan". He used regular everyday examples - you cut a curb too close, you leave your key in a hotel room, the paint gets scratched when you're scraping snow off the car. He just kept it real 100% of the time. Chris, thank you so much; I really appreciate everything you did - you went above and beyond. I'm so happy with everything and I will definitely be referring anyone and everyone to you and to Conecelli. Also shout out to Honda finance manager, Chris, for a smooth financing and paperwork process. This was my first time financing anything and it's a big purchase, so I had a lot of questions, and some asked twice. He answerer every one of my questions with kindness and respectfulness.
